  • it's really amazing.kind of hope for every one who have ms.

oh my god one more trip to India!

    this time for veinogram?

it seems my case is complicated.

    have you been in Chennai?

  • @npiltan We went to Kolhapur; I was not to Chennai. I'm suprised they didn't do all the tests then and there that were needed. The doctors we dealt with were extremely thorough. Regardless, my best wishes to you, and continued well wishes from me!!

  • My mom's last update!

"October 21 and 22nd - Thursday. I did about 3/4 hour of general exercises, concentrating on leg stretching. Friday was just amazing. I walked 6 x 12 steps (70) on my own with [help turning]. I then went directly outside and took my walker for 620 steps, wheelchaired 3/4 block, and returned to my walker for another 130 plus steps, totalling 750 steps. I drank my protein powder and tonight will do my 1 hour of stretches and exercises for balance. What an amazing day!"

  • ِDarlene

I was there in chenie India they said my Jugular vains are OK. or more than OK.

one thing which is really confusing me is you and even other people with ms talking about six or seven vain and blockages. in

they check one vain right and one in the left

please tell me do you have any idea about it.>>>>>>>>yes or no

  • @npiltan Hmm... You got an MRI but no veinogram done, right? It's not a fun procedure, but they are much more likely to find something in the veinogram. I haven't heard fantastic things coming back from Chenie. :/

Others may be talking about blockages in the veins (2 veins) from the brain to the body, as well as blockages in other major veins, possibly. What I was talking about was 3 blockages, all of which were 60 to 70 per cent blocked (not 6 to 7 veins), in the 2 veins from the brain.

  • you are more beautiful with glass.

one thing you don't know is you do care about others because sharing info with others and it is good and impressive

  • @npiltan Well thank you!

  • yee realy haha, this is a first time in life who someone praying for a problem

life is funny even when i fallen down or when sometime i want to talk wordsare not coming out

    it is still funny.

  • the funny thing is i wish to have so many blockages

  • @npiltan Haha! We were thinking the same thing out in India. I've never wished for a doctor to find medical problems before! :)

  • I'm so happy for you and your mother I will go to India very soon.

I know you are very familiar to ms, for me it is a nightmare some time I think I'm dreaming. but now one thing is for sure we should never give up.

  • @npiltan While I don't have the experience you do, I understand what you mean to some extent. I think that everyone with MS has such a terrible thing to deal with. You never know what you will have to deal with day to day. I'm sure it's incredibly hard. I have a lot of hope for this procedure. I do believe that it will stop your MS attacks as long as your veins remain unblocked after the procedure. I also believe you will see improvement. I don't know how advanced your MS is, so...

  • @npiltan ... it's hard to say how quickly you will see improvement. But my mom was in the final stage of MS, and look at her. In months, she is doing what she hasn't been able to for years now (walking with a walker). My best wishes to you!!!

  • @npiltan thank you for your reply.

The funny thing is, I wish i would have lots of blockages in my vain

i can walk with walker for 10 meters or more but my main problem is balance control

  • Hi there.

    How is your mom now

    what about her progression.

    BR.

    Nader.

  • @npiltan Thanks for asking! I've put up many comments here tracking her progress. Definitely read the video comments; it's very exciting and amazing!!

  • My mom's progress:

"October 4th - Monday. I walked by myself with two canes on my back lawn for about 30 steps. I then walked for 525 steps with my walker, wheelchaired 3/4 block and did an hour of exercises before bed. I also went to my girlfriends birthday [in another town] and did a small amount of shopping."

This is huge for her... walking with two canes means a great start towards independence. Not to mention she hasn't been able to do that for about 4 years now!!

  • Hi this is nader.

    Can she walk now?

I hope your mother gets better every day.

I will go for ccsvi to India.

    wish me luck.

    Nader.

  • @npiltan Absolutely the best of luck, Nader. My mom improves slowly but surely, and has not had a single attack since the procedure. It's amazing. May all go smoothly for you, let me know how it goes!!

  • I was diagnosed with MS back in 1983.Recently I came across ccsviclinic.ca. They are screening in Fargo, ND. Called (404)461-9560 and spoke to Nurse Lisa. Their Liberation Package includes pre-op video consultation with their doctors, flight costs, visas, accommodation within their hospital premises. The treatment includes stent, medications, reports & post-op followup for next 6 mths. Email:apply@ccsviclinic.ca. Getting liberated mid-October. Thankful to CCSVI Clinic for making this happen!

  • @rebecawatson57 Good stuff! Let me know how it goes for you!

  • you are beautiful outside and inside

  • @npiltan Why thank you, that's very nice!

  • how much does this cost??? INdia? where did you stay? Oh I hope it was a nice area... hmmm thats great.

  • @WonderWomanFan4life Quotes to get this done will vary. Some companies will tell you they'll do it for 13 grand. Then they charge you a neat ten grand for the procedures and testing they need to do. This one was up front, and I think it was about 20 grand. It's a lot of money, but the idea is you'll pay it once, and never have an MS attack again. You can start your recovery. The place we stayed was great. It was clean, the staff were awesome. If you're looking for first class....

  • @DarlaLS

I think that is much more FAIR! In USA they would never do that. LOL. I like the way the Indians do things. they seem to do right by humanity. Thank you for sharing. You are really good explaining things, informing people, and I am glad you did.

I am Glad to hear about your mother's recovery. WOW!!! AMAZING!! Super!

  • Update from my mom!

"September 13th and 14th - Monday and Tuesday. Monday, I made 4 small steps on my own and 1 hour of exercises. Tuesday, I did my exercises and made 10 small steps on my own . They were unsteady, but an accomplishment just the same."

  • Mom, Sept 1 2010:

"Wednesday, I stepped 555 outside steps with my walker and 3/4 block with my wheelchair. Then, I exercise as I do every night for 3/4 hr to 1 hour."

  • Good luck to you! and Good daughter!

I have three relatives with MS and this type of treatment is very interesting for me to see. I wish you all the best with your recovery and exercise. Utilize the internet for ideas on new exercises if you are in a rural area. Good luck.

  • @redburchell

Thank you so much for the support and for the advice! I wish the best to you and your relatives, and may they receive the best treatment they can as well.

  • You are very correct - they will try to shoot down but they cannot - this procedure will be available in many countries - same on you all neuro - you have exploited this illness with no benefit to us. MS SOCIETY YOU ARE A SHAM. we don't want your respite care or wheelchairs. WE WANT YOU TO VANISH AND ALLOW US TO GET BETTER. BIRD POISEN IS NOT THE ANSWER - YOU . . . . .

  • Mom has been working on finding the right combination of diet and exercise to develop her muscles anew while not wearing herself out. Here's where she's at now:

"Today I walked 2 x walker 200 steps = 400 steps the most ever. I wheelchaired up and down a challenging area. I also climbed in and out of my camper...lol then I collapsed. Tonight i will do 200 cross steps and 1/2 hour of general exercises"

It's hard to get access to trainers and therapists in remote rural areas too!

  • My mom today:

"Well, well, today some prayers were answered (not all mine). I am much stronger making 321 higher lifting walker steps and 1/2 block with the wheelchair going on and off the driveway myself. Tonight I will do my 3/4 hr of exercising."

  • Thanks for your comment, MsBonnitta! If you do go to India, let us know how it goes! My thoughts your way. :)

  • This is fabulous! Thanks for posting this, I am from Saskatchewan as well, and looking into going to India as well. Glad your mom is doing so well!

  • Mom says:

"June 29th - Tuesday. I walked 300 steps with my walker again, looping 3 times around the driveway. I then took my wheelchair up the block and tok pictures of Susan's flowers. It is good for the strength of my arms and body. I then in the evening doing 100 cross steps to help flexibility of my legs."

  • Find below this more quotes from my mom. The fact that she is practicing walking is just incredible. Wow. :D

    Linda S, below:

  • June 26th - Saturday. I walked 200 steps with my walker outside or 2 loops of my full driveway. I hope to do some cross steps inside to improve my co-ordination too

June 25th - Friday. I walked 100 steps outdoors with my walker and then 100 indoors crisscross steps for flexability

June 15th - I walked 150 steps today with my walker. My arms were tired and my left foot did not wish to go any further.lol brat foot

  • LEARNING TO WALK AGAIN! WOW.

    Mom, Linda, says:

"June 13 - I was able to take my walker up and down part of my driveway for about 65 steps.

June 14th - Monday. I took my walker for about 100 steps and noted that my legs are not sore, but my arms were. Perhaps from working to balance or perhaps from the death grip I have on the walker handles. This has wheels, so I do not want it to spurt away."

  • (continued)

"June 9th- I was able to take a few steps with only my cane as an assist.

June 12th- I have feeiling in my toes this morning, as I can feel my stocking going on over them for the first time in possibly 10 years. "

Wow!!! This is all wonderful news.

  • My mom says:

"Linda....Liberation in Kolhapur, India May 2010. I was their first patient

May 27th - I got feeling back in the top of my hands. I am waiting for my finger tips yet.

May 28th- I got feeling in the top of my feet. I have not been able to feel my feet in years and years.

June 5th- I planted my bedding plant flowers and was not tired, unlike last year.

June 6th- I was able to be out and organize seeds to plant the whole garden with only a break for lunch."

  • She's slowly getting feeling back in her digits now! Most of her toes now!!
