  • trench sickness, shell shock, vietnam syndrome, gulf syndrome and now PTSD. The same illness but changes name from war to war, because you don't tell soldiers that those who will come back will go psycho

  • awww man! i wanted to watch this epic creation again, but without the music it's not nearly as enjoyable. :[ w/e, all that matters is that I remember this creation as the best CG story I have ever watched.

  • very good.

one thing i dunno understand justin bieber videos of crap hhave like 100 million views.

and video's like this original beutifull have no viewsat all.

29 000 is nothing for a vidio like this

  • Great, the audio track has been deleted...

  • Yeah, sorry about that. As students we've used some musics from movie soundtracks. Of course we didn't have the rights. It's okay when it goes to festivals but it seems to be an issue on the web.

  • austinchicky

    same words!

  • too bad youtube screwed you on the audio. i hate coming here now because of this 'audio disabled' crap...makes lunch at work suck that much more. think i'll spend my time over at stumble now...way to go youtube! lmao

  • wow

  • Simplement genial totu y est ca un leger gout de reviens-y ^^

  • wow, thats all i can say.. wow.

  • oh lala tellement triste mais aussi beau!

  • The power of the message...... the colors..... the plot.... they all go together! Very exquisite!

  • i think he was being the bird and died when it was shot

  • oh my. . . That was so good! I loved the lighting and graphics and everything. The whole concept was beautiful and chilling at the same time. Did the man die at the end? Or did he just pass out?

And can someone please tell me what song was used in the credits?

    Again, very amazing. xDD

  • very good, some of the animation reminded me a lot of pink floyds movie "the wall' ... great work !

  • Good video. Very strange, but in a good way. It must've taken a long time. Great ending, as well.

  • i loved it but i didn't follow there was no plot.

  • this is awesome! its unique and creative. i love it! it seemed so realistic :]

  • the animation is incredible, i've never seen anything like it.

  • i liked this one better than the fin d'ete

  • aunque no lo comprendi xD bastante bien :)

  • Now for a real comment : Very good work with interesting transitions like the one with the barbwire or the one with the crosses becoming planes. Colors changing slowly with every new part... Very good ideas and realisation!

  • Très beau boulot, tout en sensibilité. J'aime beaucoup!

  • awesome

  • its so sad- =(

  • i love you all :)

  • this was lovely, WELL DONE!!!

  • deep video, would go nice with a pink floyd tune...

  • like the video & the music, very nice.

  • ah~

    -sad-

  • pero que puta madre paso en elvideo jajaja? ta bien ta chingon

  • i was just wondering if this animation is a criticism of freedom?

    nice work, btw...

  • nice work, I enjoyed it.

  • wow that was very strong. very good job! =]

  • very good you guys are very talented.

  • nice but sadly always the same stereotypes get served

  • the war scenes are reminding me a bit of nothing new on the western front by erich maria remarque (i´m not sure if this is the correct english title ;) )

  • wow, this gave me the chills. Amazing work.

  • great one!!!bravo!!

  • the ending's so sad!

    but it was really good

  • that was great my friend

  • Great!!!

  • great on a lot of levels, well done!

  • I LOVE the way you made the transition from the countryside and the war zone.

But I feel what I LOVE MOST is how you coloured the whole film. It's like watching an oil painting. Well done... Don't lose those 'oil painting feel' settings and give us more films!!

BTW, the story's real nice too.

  • This is a very creative film! The animation was well done and the message was an important one. We must stop breeding violence and hatred, future generations are watching and learning, I hope we can teach them something about respecting life, whether it's human or not.

  • confuzing and amazing

  • noooo....its sad the ending :(

  • breathtaking!

  • There should be a game like that.

  • amazing!

  • Awesome job! I love the underlying message.

  • I know nothing about film, but this is what I think: Imaginative and beautiful. Powerful contrasts, the image of freedom - the bird - and the war, and the ultimate death. Powerful, but confusing, starting scene...

  • RESPEKT... GRANDIOS...FABELHAFT... GENIAL...

    i love this animation-work... :)

    really beautiful

  • so what happened?

and yeah, looks like a Sims game.

  • omg.... love this

  • sad and beautiful at the same time

  • amazing, my friend. I really enjoyed it. This one should have been featured today, along with the other amazing animations!

  • Wow, all I can say is wow.

  • nice

  • nice story :D!! really cool

  • I'm not sure wat to say about it. It was brilliant before anyone spams me. But I'm shore of the story line, is it this man kill someone in battle and that turned him to find an escape or it that he can't escape from what he did?

  • i love this movie

  • master piece

  • Bravo.

  • Beautiful work and super creative. Was it your purpose to depict PTSD?

  • Yes, exactly. The main subject of the movie is here, the trauma of a deserter who's hiding but still wants to go outside, and the visions of his fears created by his past war experiences are overlaying the real vision through the device and finally overwhelming totally his senses.

  • Outstanding...speechless.

  • Well Done - 5 Stars, Keep up the great work!

  • this was masterfully done. the plot really drew me in, i never really knew where the storyline was going, but i was entranced all the same.

  • If that kid did shoot the bird, I wonder what he thought of it when he saw that contraption.

  • Wonderful

  • Great and also frightning in his own way

  • Oh!!!

  • Alot of effort and hard work definitly went into making this. so much detail and textures. i enjoyed watching it :o)
