I am so glad I managed to downgrade from iOS4 to 3.1.2 (allthough apple made is as hard as they could)

I just did the tasks like in the video on my iPhone 3g 3.1.2 jailbroken with unlock and winterboard and my iPhone was way faster then iOS4.1 in this video. and I have 4pages of apps installed too.

one day i was playing with it and i found the EASIEST FIX...

downgrade to 3.1.2 from iTunes, it will give you 1015 error...by this time, it has downgraded so what you need to do is close iTunes and run blackra1n.....next time you reboot, it's downgraded to 3.1.2 as well as jailbroken!!

@besto1111 so first u have to have to have to have upgraded from 3.1.2, meaning u have to have uddated to this version before on the same computer. Then all u have to do is hold option for mac or sift for pc then press restore. Then locate the file (search on google, "how to locate ur ipsw firmware from the laptop for mac (or) pc"

I am loving 4.1 right now. Feels like I'm on 3.1.3 everything is working and it feels like my phone is faster cuz I got used to how slow 4.0-4.0.2 was. The only thing I'm waiting for is backgrounder to get updated for 4.1. I miss backgrounding the app that I choose to and not waste the little ram that the 3G has by enabling multitasking :( anyways great video and I liked the 8-bit music. I forgot what Zeppelin song it is though lol.

I was having serious upgrade remorse for the first 6 hours, but I have everything figured out and 99% of my apps are working fine including mywi. The only issue that i am having is with my3g and that's not a biggie it just won't let me turn off asking "if I want to turn this app o" when I load any app.

btw u do have to update to the latest itunes. Syncing is 1000% faster no exxageration

@iNeed10thRiteNoW You can transfer all your purchases. Jailbreak doesn't take a lot of space. Plug iPod into computer and in itunes go to File menu then 'transfer purchases from iPod'. Then all you have to do is restore/erase the iPod and when you get the 3GS, just restore it from the backup that you made from the ipod

iOS 4.1 was released to fix a performance issue. There were flaws from the beginning, the reason everyone with a 3G eagerly awaited 4.1.
