They may be able to compete in the market, but in order to grasp that number one spot... might i remind you a spot once held by GM... 67 years ago before toyota kicked them to the curb. Also think buddy, Toyota is a much smaller company than GM. However they are being nice and letting us build cars and trucks here. They dont have too. GM and the big three moved most of the jobs to mexico and overseas. At least they are trying to help with our economy. thats What I look at. I live within an hour of 3 manufacturing plants for toyota. Once Toyota gets this recall stuff figured out (which was overhyped by the big 3 btw) I'm sure they will give us more jobs

GM stated it would build 2 plants in the U.S., 1 in Canada and 1 in Mexico. That's only 50% = F.

GM is American. ALL of it's jobs are for the American people. Since GM is giving jobs to foreigners and NOT Americans, the American people will NOT buy GM cars. Why should they?

GM has not changed it's losing, failed policy. It's the same old thing: take the American peoples' money & stab them in the back.

As far as problematic vehicles go, every automaker has problems. In the past(early 90s, 80s, late 70s) GM built some pretty shitty cars....but currently they build some pretty damn good cars.

You should do some research about GM trannys. As a lot of people are having issues with them in the newer cars they build. Yes I do have a real arguement mine was replaced in two years with only 23,000kms and the new one is doing the same thing as the other tranny did and then it got worse so yes I do have tranny issues. GM sucks and that is it. I used to buy only GM so I'm not some guy that just wants to bash them.
