The first Metallica guitar...Electra flying v copy used on Kill 'Em All, Ride the Lightning and all the shows from that era. He started using Explorers at the time he originally broke the headstock on this V... ESP have made him replicas of it he uses live... you can tell they aren't new Gibsons from the white headstock and bolt-on necks, and that they aren't this guitar from the lack of paint damage along the top edge. He put fake Gibson logos on them like he did to this one back in the day.
