Eau de Toilette (EdT): 5-15% (typical ~10%) aromatic compounds
Eau de Parfum (EdP), Parfum de Toilette (PdT): 10-20% (typical ~15%) aromatic compounds, sometimes listed as "eau de perfume" or "millésime"
Perfume extract, or simply perfume (Extrait) (or pure perfume): 15-40% (IFRA: typical 20%) aromatic compounds <--- This is what the perfume edition of Terre D'Hermes is!
So it's not an Eau de Toilette nor is it an Eau de Parfum! ;)
Thanks for your review Fabino. I like Terre d'Hermes but many people hate it and tell me it stinks. If you haven't already, Try Prada's Infusion d'Homme too it's lovely that's my #1 scent!
Nice vid, dude. You're absolutely right about two points here. It's definitely for ones 25 y.o or older. 25-45 range I think. 2nd: it's surely winter or late fall fragrance. The costume one I'd say. It's like Chanel Egoiste or Ralph Lauren Romance. You can put it on when going to BBQ or beach. It's designed for the intimate, loving evening when men are in suits and women wear dresses.
Also, Terre d'Hermes is a summer fragrance when it comes to composition, you might find it deep or strong enough for winter though. It's a bitter-orange type of fragrance, and if you've done some research, the perfumer, Jean-Claude Ellena, has done that type of fragrance so many times, hell he has done it at least 5 times for the Hermes house. So it's not very unique, he probably has 10 very similar bitter-orange fragrance on his resume. Though this one by far is his best.
No offense dude, but you're being clueless in this video. EdP is not the highest concentration, Pure Parfum/Extrait is, which is supposedly the case in that bottle you've got. Of course pure oils are concentration of 100%.
Second, EdP is not necessarily strong or stronger than EdT. In most cases it is, but higher concentration of oils lead to increased longevity and complexity, sometimes they're stronger, sometimes they're even weaker. Hence; pure oils are light but very, very long lasting.
i was wearing this the other day and a mte said im i wearing decloration than done some research to find out its the same nose behind the sent so now im having both
hello mate. its Terre as in Tear or tera, as in French for earth. And its ermes, pronounced urmes rather than Hermes, the french dont pronounce H's. Cool
i really like this scent but i did not understand if there is an Eau de Toilette version and an Eau de Parfum! would someone mind to explain me plz? : D
Lol you said if you are 18 and going to the club, that it's not for you. Scent does not have an age limitation, nor does it discriminate against locations, it's also not gender specific. I was wearing "masculine and feminine perfumes since I was 12. Lol u r so young. I love this parfum. Also, Hermes is a very recognized and well known brand. Im glad that u r so young and interested in different things. Keep it up.
lol you dont know how to say Hermes. theyre big here and everyone wears their ties and scarves. my bottle of Terre D'Hermes is arriving this Monday - PARFUM.
dude, im gladd to see a review of the perfume version but does it smell the same as the eau de toilette only lasted longer and much concentrated because i ordered one today,
Please, dear MrFabino1, STOP saying "ooo dee parfum"! It's eau like the o in sore, lord (without the r) etc, and de like de in wander (without the r).
If you do scent reviews (and I like your style), please get the names and terms right. Sounds more professional. ;)
Nothing alike at all. London is somewhat spicy, smoky (as in tobacco smoky) and very sweet, almost cherry like. TdH is dry, citrusy, woody and earthy.
+1, they're pretty different. What they do have in common is that they're "mature" IMO, neither's really appropriate for a highschooler, more like 30-40 year old range or older. I know it's debatable but some frags are a little more age specific then others
haha ya so so many people have told me that buy now, so i got it, but im just getting started with this whole reviewing thing so don't worry bro ill get better ;)
actually, eau is almost like ohh... /o/, like bob dOle (the o from Dole) de is d and an e that sounds like the e from elephant or energy, and toilette is twa-let.
eau de toilette.. o de twa-let is literally how its pronounced.
You have the Parfum version. IMO it's different from the EdT, but the EdT has good enough sillage and longevity that I don't know why Hermes felt the need to make a Parfum version. Anyway, it's an excellent frag.
200ml, baller! PM me if you want to do some swaps, I've got lots...

I'm 19 and I really liked it when I tried it.
I'm a newbie in the perfume world, would you recommend it for all day use?
It really isn't a night fragrance like you said like going to the club.
But I would wear it for hoing to work.

The H in Hermes is silent "er mez"
Eau is "Oh", de is "duh", toilette is "twa let"
