  • Thank you!

  • Thank you, really ! I learned this on a dime thanks to you !

  • Thank you sooooooo much dude !!!

  • Genius can you make more Zeppelin videos

  • This guy is flat out the very best guitar instructor I have ever seen , and a damn fine player !

  • thanx man for getting straight into it and not wasting time talking for ages at the start like SO MANY OTHER tutorials. it makes a big difference in whether you get motivated to learn the song r not.

    MOAR TUTORIALS LIKE THIS!

  • last part - the outro is absolutely not understandable

  • Great song to learn. Thx

  • HI BOB

  • Bob your tutorials have been helping me a lot, thanks to you i have been able to improve my guitar skills! thanks for all your hard work on making this videos!! you rock!!! keep teaching us more!!!!

  • the chords and notes are so simple...but it's so hard to play!

  • Thanks!! I play this song now haha!

  • Tuning is half step down

  • awesome! now all you need is a 12 string! :P

    '

  • tuning?

  • @Molestify standard

  • @Molestify down a half step....

  • Similar chord structure to All of My Love

  • Thanks!

  • very cool thanks

  • nice

  • Who else thinks his name is Bobert?

  • can you resub this video with more quality?? and if you do it, you could play the chords once together to see how it would be?

  • in the chorus there are 3 G?

  • The strumming part always kicks my ass!

  • Thank you, man. Great lesson.

  • Love u Bob!

  • great video, thanks for the help

  • this is great. Thanks!

  • I wish I could see your finger picking.

  • did u know that this is the first song that slash learned to play?

  • @TheBishulama this was the first song that slash learned, damm, well that's another proof that led is the greatest band of all times

  • is it in standard tune

  • @joeycolts yes, there is a video of a guy with standard tuning on you tube for tuning if you need to.Just type in standard tuning on a search.you can tune up to a guitar in standard. not sure if there are others. I just tune to open tunings off of other strings and frets.I hope this helps.I also have a lot of cool lessons in my favorites. feel free to look through them.Peace...

  • @joeycolts yes

  • great lesson, I liked the overlayed tabs, makes it a lot easier.

one suggestion though...after teaching a section of the song play it once through so that the viewer can get a better sense of the rhythm.

    cheers

  • @serads I know you said he should play it all the way through one time, what I do is just look for a video of someone playing it along with the recording, that way I can get a feel for the chord changes. I know this helps me out a lot. then I practice with the recording, this might help you too. you could give it a try, but some lessons, but not many, don't have anyone playing it with a video.when that happens.then I have to work harder. but it's harder 4 a beginner too. I hope this idea helps.

  • When people ask where who teaches me my great guitar skills i tell them Bobby Crispy!

  • lol hey rob ware do u live im at keele and sheppard

  • your voice is like a kid!!

  • Is it just me or are all your tabs messed up? They're on the wrong rows :/

  • @TheBlueMoth click on those 2 arrows on left bottom side of the screen.

  • @TheBlueMoth - Its just you.

  • molson canadian rocks!!! do u still get free transfers out the boxes????bob scotland

  • do you have the tabs for the last part i get conused with the ending all the time thanks

  • Thank you, Bob. Your lesson is great. I was having a hell of a time with this, but now I might finally learn to play this awesome song.

    THANKS!

  • hey the reason the song sounds weird is because its tuned weird.tune everthing between standerd and half step down. so its not a half step down or standerd its between the two.

  • best teacher evar!

  • thx man i have learned it in a day;D

  • Thanks Bob. You rule!!!!

  • thanks man it going to take little bit of playing and listening but i'm going to get and thanks with the sunshine of your love solo best shit i can play keep it up

  • jez, your freaking good :D

  • Hi, Bob!

  • what is the tuning for the song, i cant get it right

  • Tune all your strings down half step.

Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb

  • hey the reason the song sounds weird is because its tuned weird.tune everthing between standerd and half step down. so its not a half step down or standerd its between the two.

  • Thanks so much, I'm just learning this and your vid is so helpful. The Led Zep original is done tuned differently, isn't it. Mine just sounds a bit wrong.

  • Nope. Jimmy played this on a 12 string guitar though, maybe that's why it doesn't sound right to you. Or you might be out of tune?

  • thanks man!

  • WOOOOW... JIMMY PAGE , RESPECT!!!!

  • thx

  • Great lesson, adding the tab helped a lot. Learned this in aboot 5 minutes

  • Thanks again Bobby :)

I'm working gonna work on this more after i post this and I believe this will be the first WHOLE song I will be able to play. Movin' up from random licks and riffs ^^

  • Great Tutorial :D tnx 1

  • Thanks for this video, it was very informative.

  • You should play the whole riff when you are done with going over all cords.

  • for sweet child of mine you should mak a regular version you have to expand

  • thanks so much now i can play another song! thanks from new york!

  • solo is easier to learn :) and fun with the fibratos

  • great lesson Bobby!

  • I know all the major chords and a few minor chords. i can play smoke on the water and highway to hell now.

  • I've been trying to learn to play guitar for about 7 months now and can't play any song I been trying so hard I listen to the music i center my life around it but i can't figure out how to play anything. I listen to Zeppelin literally all day. Any tips someone can give me?...PS Soulsuffice i accidentaly gave you a thumbs down so please ignore that.

  • Watch the GuitarJamzDotCom video on here for Paranoid. Learn that (solo was too much for me when I started out, so skip that) first, then go to the beginning solo to Fade to Black. Then learn some other stuff. Come back to this later. If you have a guitar teacher, come back sooner, if not, you probably don't know as much about chords. I don't have a teacher so I only know 1 chord from memort, so I'd come back to this song later when your more experienced.

  • How do you try to learn? Do you know some chords, or something? I want to help you as much as I can.

  • Try to learn Day Tripper by the Beatles, it's a jammin little song, and once you learn it it's really easy. It was the first thing I learned to play.

  • Don't be tempted to overuse tabs . They inhibit aural skills , particularly in beginners. Also remember Page uses alternate tunings often .Feel over presicion is my advice .

  • I'm guessing Page played this song in an alternate tuning, like most of his acoustic work, but still a great lesson.

  • Actually about half of his acoustic work is in standard tuning, including this song.

  • good stuff, could be better, but this helps give you a good start and understanding of the songs chords

  • is this a good song to begin with? itd be the very first real song ive ever learned/played

  • yes

  • Try Deep Purple - Smoke on the Water, first. :)

  • when you play 1:18 - 1:20

do you pick down on the string the whole time or do you pick up and down on the note which is played twice to make it faster?

  • opening chord is a min.. but you must repeat the melody while playing the first g chord. and that melody is the d note on the g chord. idiot

  • nice canada love the acent

arent you suposed to play it with 12 string

  • good job dude fuck the haters

  • I LOVE IT!!!THANKS!!!

  • go slower

  • do you know how to play the solo? do you know the tabs for it?

  • thanks

  • thanks bob, this really helped

  • @druqksfilm do u sell guitars by anychance BOB

  • Thanks ever so much Bob, I got a 12 string for christmas and to be able to play a classic like this in its entirety is unbeleivable.you made it so easy...thanks

  • measuring a summer's day,

only find it slips away to grey

  • the hours, they bring me pain.

  • Living reflection from a dream

    I was her love,

    she was my queen,

And now a thousand years between

  • Bob is great period

  • cool man, rock on!

  • u sure the picking part after the c chord is right cuz i found another way to play it and i think the other way is better but this way is easier

  • Comment removed

  • is there some kind of other tuning for this than standard cause when i play it, it sounds like a higher octave or something of the song

  • Ya if you want to play with the recording its a half step flat

  • no its 1/4 step

    listen for yourself

  • how do u do a 1/4 step?

  • If you have a chromatic tuner, and it has the +50 c. and -50 c. and you have to have to line in the middle of those two for it to light up or beep or whatever it may do, lower the tuning until it reaches the -50 c then stop. If you were to keep lowering, it would be trying to tune you to D#. Not good.

Hope i helped, its kinda confusing :] haha

  • yaa toorroonntooo!!!!!!!

  • yeah haha

  • the arpeggio is C on 5th string, E on 4th, and 2 open Gs, then a B on the 5th, open D then two open Gs

  • its tuned down a half step

  • more like a quarter

  • En el disco está medio tono abajo

  • whats the tuning for this song?

im playing the way you say but it doesnt soung right

  • fuckin korn sucks

  • hi could someone explain to me the D changes at 1:32 I've tried it but I don't understand it and it comes out wrong :(

  • You are supposed to strum a regular D down then up...then you hammer down with your pinky on the High E (closest to floor) in the 3rd fret for one down strum...then let it off and strum down again...then you let your middle finger off strum down once, hammer it back on for a final down strum...hope this helps
