@DealingWithBH I collected parts for the car for about 3 months then I spent a month installing them. I'm still upgrading parts from the original kit even today. The car is being prepped for painting now and I have installed a ported intake manifold on it with a Focus Central 65mm throttle body. Since this video was made I've put a MFactory LSD in the transmission, ACT 6-puck clutch, .57 trim turbo, TIAL 38mm waste gate, and some aftermarket rims on it. Check teamzx2 dot com for info.

@johntedrowjr I don't know if Focus Power still makes the turbo kit, but it cost way too much. I just used spare parts and Ebay to make my kit.

when i was turbo'ed i ran a 14.8 and i was only on 5.5 psi of course i have a better exhuast and a underdrive pulley and better tires but still.. that was a shitty run... and your z is really ugly :D

I think 14.7 at 95 mph is pretty good for a factory stock engine with 180,000 miles on it. Could just be me, though. Oh yeah, and I never launced the car hard. The first time (the 14.9 runs) it was because I didn't want to break the open diff. The 2nd time, (the 14.7 runs with the PG) was because my new clutch slipped. What exhaust is better then a Trubendz?

He said he had a boost leak, meaning he could have been running less then 6psi. also I ran a 14.40 with the same 2.5 trubendz exhaust, stock tires. I was only running between 5-6psi.

I like the light bar that you put in the center reflector, i've always wanted to do that. overall nice job I like it except for the green (i'm more of a red guy).

I don't like green either. I bought this car in 2000 for my wife. She didn't want to drive a stick so I kept it for myself. The car started to grow on me. I make those light bars myself. There are only two like it, the one I made and one I made for another ZXTuner.

A little disappointing only pulling off a 14.9 on a boosted motor. Fix your problems and post again... I'd love to see how fast she'll go running right!

Nice z man, i have a white zx2 with a new muffler. That plate on the front kicks ass. I bet it pisses of import drivers.
