  • Is that Summer Glau?

  • So I see you got a chick there grinding your aluminum. That's hot right there.

  • Do you ever think that your Giant Robot is going to be used to enslave humanity? I think that...

  • Why don't you go to mechanical engineering graduate school? You really belong there. I'm sure there are many universities that would love to have you. Then you can get big funding and build super amazing societal changing things!!!!

  • makes you wonder, how many parts do you resolve to cut out, and then ACTUALLY cut out :P it's gotta be some reeeeeeeeeeally embarrassing shit to really get cut at the end of the day!

  • All of these have been amazing so far. I'm curious to see the end result.

  • "I promise im not just making rabbits" That made me laugh :P I sersly like your way of life. When you made that complain video, I sersly felt like 1 of the stupid people. But I wanna change!

  • haha, oh. oops, sorry. didn't mean to make you feel stupid. ...unless you bacome cooler because of it! Then, yes. It was on purpose. :-P

  • RING bearings are what you should call the RING shaped bearings, which contain the BALL shaped bearings, known as BALL BEARINGS...

  • yes yes.... its all technical mumbo jumbo to 99% of the people on here anyway, so... I don't necessarily use the "correct" terms.

  • Nice assistant :)

  • Well, she's more pretty than nice. ha ha. OUCH! She just punched me. Hold on, administering spanking! YEARGH! ha ha, just kidding.

  • "I'll take that part out"

    Something slip your mind?

    Fwahahahaha.

  • No, I just think its way funnier to leave things like that in. :-D

  • yeah i agree like in part 1 when you put in insert clip of robot here that made me laugh

  • hah hah. Ya, its like "behind the scenes"

  • hehe rabbit.

  • still, let me know if you need electroinc or computer help, lemme know. ive got a hacked CVS camera, let me know if you have a use for it.

  • Also, where do you get those ball bearings?

  • Oh... ya. Actually, when she saw that, she yelled at me. ....then laughed! ha ha. Apparently slavery can be quite humorous... when its not real.

  • Hehe...slaves......

DISCLAIMER; The topic of slavery is in no way funny. ^

    It is.

  • Are you still in Florida?

  • Yep! Still in Florida. This video is only a couple days old. Valrico.... just outside Tampa.

  • I live just outside Tampa, and I also happen to be making a spider robot; weird. If you happen to finish it before you leave it would be awesome to see it.

  • "I promise im not just making rabbits!", i laughed so hard at that, that was freaking hillarious, hehe

    Can't wait for part 11 :)

  • OH, good. I wasn't sure it that was too much silliness for a "serious" building video. :-P If one person laughed, though, thats good enough for me!

  • awesome been waiting for the video doing well i like the plastic stuff Polly something fits quite snug keep up the good work and god speed jamie.

  • Thanks! Ya, the plastic stuff seems to be really good. I just hope its as strong as its advertised to be. :-)

  • hey look im the third DIFFERENT person to post besides Jamie

    OKAY BACK ON SUBJECT

    Where did that LOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGG

piece of aluminum come from... I know you fixed a garage, but im suprised that can fit in a garage... must be a big garage...

    HAPPY BUILDING :)

  • Oh ya, I WISH it was a aluminium. Naw, its a long piece of rusty steel. It was from along the top of the garage door which is a double door. It had springs coiled around it, and a cable to the door so when the door went down, the spring twisted tighter.

  • "Ohh the things i put up with..." HAHA! Nice! How did you run out of ball bearings? Didnt you have like 500 of them? Your robot must have alot of bearings lol, Great job! Keep up the work!

  • Ya, it does take alot of ball bearings. I'm not even on the leg parts yet. It'll end up being somewhere close to 300 total if I remember corrently. I may have found a cheap supplier, though. That makes me happy. :-) ....if it works out.

  • also.. how are you keeping the ballbearings in the plastic when they are just sitting in the holes you cut

  • Whats that weird curved plastic thing in the background (in garage) looks like the roof of one of those small battery powered cars or somthing?

Also, do you not tell us what the parts are for to keep it a secert?

  • The ball bearings stay in there because the hole is tight on them. They really barely fit. I just hope the plastic dosn't stetch!

The curved plastic (grey?) thing is the hood of an e-type jaguar. My dad is restoring it.

Pretty soon I'll be able to show some of these parts together.

I'm not ssure what I want to do about the design yet.

People keep telling me I need to patent it first. ....then again, I might just say screw it and forget about all that crap. Money tends to ruin fun things

  • hahhah Soon U will be famous rabbitdude!

  • Oh... I don't know about that. :-P Famous amongst a few cool people is good enough for me. :-)

Really, I just want to keep making things!

...and who you callin Rabbitdude!? ha ha. Just playing'. I've been called much worse.

  • I only envy U ;) I've just found out that U have a snailmail adress on Ur website ;D

  • Yep, I do... and I should check that its still my correct address! Well, my old address does get forwarded at least :-P

  • OK, I fixed it. I got a mailbox recently. I still get mail from my po box forwarded, but... anyway, my new address is 780 Pluck Hill Rd. :-)

  • y u give out ur adress to mystery people...???
