you shouldn't let anyone decide for you, you are sure to end not liking your choice. choose what you want, or you could create 4 char (1 woth fire, the other with ice etc etc...) and choose wich one is best for you

The cool thing about this game is you can mix and match. I have a fire/ice guy. He freezes them up then pelts them with fire. You can mix, from gadgeetering and dark sorcery and more. You are not forced to stick to the one power pool, though doing so unlocks their more potent powers sooner rather than later.

Yeh, the character creator's super in depth, can make anything, took me a few hours to create my first as well.
