@rose4soni You know you can't say this. It's just wrong. Italian food is one of the best but don't forget that a lot of Asian prefer Western food. Malaysian and Singapore is pretty much similar and I have been to Singapore almost a million times I can say the food is what so ever has no taste. There's just no flavours at all. Indian food...I don't know what to say. Japanese food is famous for its sushi but Chinese and Thai food can be on the scale of 50/50.

@sparkl1nwat3r as an asian myself i eat western food only for a lil change. i eat it a lot, but in de end i always go bk to asian food. so in my case at least i prefer asian food. i ll try to eat more western food, from what ive eaten, theyre good but nt all that...

ime an indian and thought we had good street food but i was stunned by the quality, price, diversity, healthiness and hygene levels and plain simple yimminess of the street food in thailand, a genial people..after singapore probably the best place for the food tourist on a budget or otherwise

Most of the foods in Thailand are too sweet for me, I didnt like Thai street foods. They looked good though,but very poor in flavor, and the over sweet just turned me off.

No, it's nothing like that. The street food is rather clean from my experience. It's also delicious and cheap.

I agree that it might not be clean and the food sometimes sit at room temperature but I've eatten tons of street foods in Thailand and have never gotten sick. No one I know has gotten sick either so I think its probably safe to eat.

It's not that bad but i would avoid the water for safety XD. For the street food most of it should be clean, because if locals got sick from it, it would prob run out of business lol. I'll take my chances because i love thai food :D

i hv a bad immune system but never got sick from eating the street food. ^^ dont worry. if u r not sure, try to eat those that cook right in front of u. most of Thai street food are freshly made in high temp.

about the water, it was said to be able to drink straight from the tap but i personally hv never done that. i always drink reverse osmosis water at home or buy a bottle. ^-^
