After master of puppets metallica sorta went down hill, except a few of their songs off of justice and black album (one, frayed ends, nothing else matters, etc..) that were incredible masterpieces as well. But if cliff were alive, they probably would have come with ever better songs..

In my opinion, there was a poll held earlier about who is better, Angus and Michael Young or Kirk Hammet and James Hetfield. Metallica won, but I think Malcom and Angus should have won. For the record Metallica didn't write The Four Horsemen. Dave Mustaine wrote it. It was called Mechanix and Metallica slowed down the tempo and changed the lyrics. And The reason people refer to "new metallica" is because their is no denying that their is a difference. They aren't even the same bang anymore.
