  • Wow that's awesome. Can you at least give the first 10 notes of the pig? I tried for 2 hours and I can't get it! :)

  • Like Anthony Burger

  • @jaozera789456123 wow thanks. That's probably the best compliment I could have gotten. Anthony is a huge inspiration, and Stan Whitmire as well.

  • sheet music!!!???

  • @angelfraud Sorry I don't have sheet music for this, it's just my own arrangement. You can find the original sheet arrangement in many hymnals though, if that helps.

  • That was awesome David...I wish I practiced more....I just can't get motivated enough!!!

  • What are you doing starting at 0:37?

  • I'm not sure that I can explain it in words, you would almost have to see it to really understand it, but it's a country/southern gospel lick known as "The Pig", at least that's what Landon Beene calls it in his video, which is where I learned it from. I'll admit I don't play it as gracefully as I'd like to yet. I know others have asked for a tutorial as well, I guess I just need to take the time and do it already. If/when I get it done, I'll post it as a response to this video. - David.

  • I know the guy from whom the lick originated from and his name was "Pig Johnson", that was his nickname - he was a blind piano player from Nashville. That I know for sure, it was just the actual lick itself I was wondering about, but thanks for the help anyway! :)

  • @doofyee Please do if you haven't already. Thank you

  • beautifull, will you do a piano tutorials on you tube.thanks rose
