  • Haha no point in using lead to influence AMerican kids.

The American education system is enough fked up already and designed to make AMericans stupid.

  • who wants chinese milk???

  • Man William Hung has really lost a lot of weight

  • haha i counted 14

  • haha ur theory is so true

  • OMFG you uncovered our super secret plan!!!!!!!!! how did you figure it out?!?!?!?! The CSS (Chinese Secret Service) must know!!! We Will NOT take no for an answer. Reply within 20 years OR ELSE!!!

  • Sounds like a very plausible revenge theory considering what America has done to Vietnamese children with Agent Orange.

  • yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay commies that is awesome........................yo thats funny and it makes sense. dam commies

  • however look at americans, just pretend they dont know anything about the numbers and what is called statistics. when americans got entertained by exaggrating the incident, the chinese are trying all the ways to improve that 1%.

  • if there were no such unsafe products, the quality rate would be 100%. this time chinese gov made positive reaction to the recalls it has put more strict export controls on the export products. over 2500 workers in that toy factory were the direct victims who lost job overnight with the factory closed and owner killed himself.

  • Questions: Who design these products? Who orders them to be manufactured in CHina? Who provide the requirements and standards for manufacturing of the product? Who gives the safety certificate and authorization for these products to be imported?

Answers: U.S companies "Buyer" design, orders, set requirments and performs inspection. Then U.S Customs approves, authorize and clear the product for import!

  • That just widens the blast of culpability. The fact that the US companies are just as much to blame for the distribution of the unsafe products doesn't take away from the fact that the Chinese factories are manufacturing unsafe products to begin with.

Plus, the standards and requirements that the US companies apply are nothing if the manufacturers do not comply with them.

  • Then i ask these simple questions: Who will not get paid and suffer the most damage if the products: fail "NOT COMPLY WITH" inspections or do not "COMPLY WITH" the requirements and standards set forth by the U.S gov't and U.S companies?

AND can the product be imported into a country "WITHOUT SUCH COMPLIANCES"?

Last and the most IMPORTANT question for you my asian bro:

WHEN does the buyer pays the manufacturer in full to complete the purchase and sale of the product?

  • I don't completely understand what you're saying, but I'm pretty certain of one thing.

Those who suffer the most damage aren't losing their jobs. Those who suffer the most damage are the kids exposed to the dangerous substances, potentially being damaged forever.

  • A: The product can not be imported into the U.S without a clean bill of health.

A: Buyer usually pay in full when the product has pass U.S custom inspections at port.

  • i ain't pointing my finger at any 1 on this recall issue.

Allow me to answer my previous questions:

A: If the manufacturers fail to comply with the safety standards & designs of the product set forth in the Order Contract, the manuf'er is obligated to compensate the buyer for any damages inflicted and fix the defect in the product at the expense of the manuf'er!

  • Do you see my point now?

  • Actually, yes, I do.

Once again, though, it doesn't really relieve the manufacturers of the fact that they'd created a product containing lead, or whatever the case might be.

But I do get what you're saying now.

  • This show U.S gov't's incompetence in regulations and U.S corporations (for example: Mattel) incompliance with regulations.

Its obvious that there is a conspiracy between U.S corporations and Chinese manufacturers to produced these unsafe products in order to save cost. It takes TWO TO tango! I would assume that there might be even U.S custom inspectors or higher ups who are involved too in approving these products as safe! I call for corruption and bribery in the U.S gov't!!

  • I wouldn't go that far...

It's a stretch to think that a giant company like Mattel could actually think it could use lead paint undetected.

  • perfect answer! A giant company LIKE mattel with some much resources and techs actually didn't detect the access of lead existed in THEIR PRODUCTS before hand/before import? thats mind boggling !

  • Yeah, don't worry, my friend. Mattel's getting quite a bit of heat as well.

  • Mattel ain't even getting half the media bash thats China is! And keep in mind that in a very recent Canadian Internation trading Commission study, posted in the News Paper, Chinese manufacturers are 15% responsible for this recall issue! 85% of the responsibility lays in the U.S Buyers! Becuz it is the simple fact that manufacturers must work accordingly to the Buyers demands and instructions.

  • Anyway, my Asian bro, I'm just kidding around. In all seriousness, I'm not quite ready to point full blame at either the Chinese government, the US government, or the US companies. But someone's dropping the ball somewhere, perhaps in more places than one, and innocent people are paying the price. I really don't know who's to blame, but regardless, the whole situation's left me and millions of other Americans infinitely angry.

  • The recalled toys were largely exported to U.S. from 2004 to 2006; however, the new standard was announced in May 2007. China exported 26 billion toys in 2006. The recalled toys were made in 2004, 2005, and 2006, accounting for 0.03% of the toys sold. Many toys recalled due to defective designs, rather than the quality. Design companies should share with China the scandals. Does this make sense to you Americans?

  • Very much so.

However, lead paint was never in the original designs of the toys. Additionally, the quality concerns don't just cover toys, they also involve toothpaste, tires, and other products.

There's plenty of blame to go around, though and I don't disagree entirely with those who say that the American distributors are not receiving enough of it.

  • check out the stats. the chinese export quality rate is 99.03% and american export quality rate is 99%. chinese product is slightly better than american's. the so called plenty of blamed products are actually small part of the total amount of the china's exports. do some math.

  • China's high export quality rate is a good reason why US companies import from China in the first place, and also precisely why it's such big news that all these unsafe products somehow leaked out in America.

  • Did this video offend you? I'd be terribly sorry if it had. I figured that the whole idea was ridiculous enough that people wouldn't take it seriously in the least. I mean... I do have a couple of bones to pick with the Chinese government, but I've got some problem's with America's as well. I'm sorry if it seems like I'm putting China down.

  • Well...I am used to people PUTTING CHINA DOWN and holding misconceptions against it. A developing country on the rise attract critics and heat. Give a chance for CHina to develop! China or America or, in fact, any other country has its own problems and scandals!

  • whats with the hands?

  • Your hand motions ARE terrifying. However, they add something to it. So don't get rid of em. Even though I know you wouldn't even be able to. Also, this was a good video. I learned something! And it was interesting! Hahaha. Nice. Keep making these, I'll watch.
