The Stockhom Syndrome it alive and well.... and this is entertainment for who !

  • "She got the clap"

    LOL

  • hug cug fooy

  • i knew it you cant watch anything ,without a bunch of pussys, thats why life was better before youtube now any nimrod can find underground music and movies..they never would of ,in there square lifes. when they do they bitch and complain

  • ...Nat Geo has a masterpiece work entitled "Skin" This essay has changed my entire study & also verified many views I held towards "Who we are" & What we are...

This scientific body of work has few, if any assertable antithesis... Amazing that the tribes of Man r still pissed w/each other... ALL of us find reasons 4 our common abilities of distrust 2 be realised at least 2 some degree of establishment- Whether through our own hands... or, the hands of others- 2 sitbak& enjoy the schadenfreude.

  • ... Jeshuah[Emmanuel] is Arabian. Actually, ALL humans are descendants of a common ancestor(s) who 1st became evident in what we now call Ethiopia. At some time way back when there was one hell of a 'family' fight- And the tribes began to move away from each other- Yet still kept contact- and marriage. 4a while.

The tribes who went north into the cold & ice over time lost their 'brown-ness' & Nature turned 'em shades of blue& red & yellow... due to the angle of the sun and the effects of cold...

  • Um, the fat black guy in the chair, looks like Peter XD

  • Ladies and gentlemen... black Jesus.

  • black people are fun!

  • Wow. They don't make 'em like this anymore. Bakshi must've had some brass ones to make that. Great animation too. I'll just avoid the politics and see if I can track down a copy.

  • Bakshi is a genius. This is his masterpiece. Sadly not on DVD. My VHS got destroyed from being overplayed. Thanks for putting this up. I find it sad that this film was branded Racist upon release. Small minds.

Spike Lee is a fan and has ripped elements of this film. Kim Bassinger is the voice of Miss America

  • 7:24-7:32 is funny.

  • I dont care what anyone says, this shit makes no sense.

  • that black rabbit is a hot character design though.

  • All i have to say about this movie is: Raciest or not no body should have to look at a 400 pound guy naked; Black or White.

  • she got the clap

  • if your a real cristian you can't kill not even your enemy! do what jesus would do....love your enemy......

  • seems like some racist ass shit.. let me make a white cartoon.. WUT?! WE CAN KILL ANY BLACKY WE WANT? I DEFINITELY GOT ONE IN MIND!... shit storm commence

  • @Yojimbo1AK whites are illusion about being the the pro-dominant species in human kind the whole thing humours yall fully! "coonskin"

  • @Sinisterappearance1 no one said that u fail troll.. u nigs really need to think and read before u try to talk

  • If you are any kind of fan of Bakshi, you will note that there is a constant theme running through all of his work: That mankind is depraved. You will also notice the absence of any real redeeming characters in his presentations. Very few if any - The Godfather's wife perhaps, but notice how gleefully she is destroyed by the Godfather and his ghastly offspring. There is evil everywhere in the Bakshi landscape.

  • @kipptumor I was amazed at how you described the work of Ralph Bakshi! I'm a big fan of his films, they are very original and inspiring for every filmmaker or visual artist. I was never able to put in words the constant of his filmography, but you did a very good description about the soul of his movies. I would have liked to see his version of "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" Terry Gilliam is a genius, but I'm sure that Bakshi and Ralph Steadman would have done the most dark animated film ever

  • @santillanstudio I have watched all of his films for years - over and over. His landscape is truly void of any redeeming characters. He must have had a very rough upbringing. I tried animating myself - Got the technique down, but work of any length is daunting, even with today's technology. I have too many fruitless interests ;)

  • @kipptumor real life stinks of "If your the hero, who am I" mentality and the poor only hate those coming from the same depravity. same old, old vicious cycle

  • lol, he looks like a bear.

  • If you didn't get it then your reasoning and social understanding failed you. Do some back story to the artist and revisit the film.

  • i first saw this movie about 25 years ago.

Had no idea what it was about. Me and a friend rented it because it had Philip Michael Thomas, who was on Miami Vice at the time.

    I was never the same.

  • Oh no! The leaf came off! D=

  • This is like Jersey Shore for black people.

  • @CDplayersAreCool THANKS MAN I WATCHED THE WHOLE THING AND I WAS LIKE OHH OKAY. I FEEL IN LOVE WITH IT ONE B/C MY MAN BARRY WHITE IS IN IT AND TWO IT WAS FUNNY AND THREE PHILLIP MICHAEL THOMAS IS BE'IR RABBIT. I JUMOED THE GUN BFORE I EVEN WATCHED IT

  • AINT THIS A BITCH!

  • Dialogue is great, cool style - I'd love to see this whole movie!

  • OH MY GAWDDD..... WHAT IN THE HELL NAW IS THIS?

  • This...this is better than all those animated 3D films about animals I see in theaters.

  • wtf lmao i love it already///wow!!

i just seen fritz the cat in like 2001 and i was like HUH???....loved it.

i have to order this on dvd now!

  • my god this is deplorable and the title of the movie is just repugnant. stuff like this should be burned.

  • @doctorw2 why?

  • @hibraisil this has no social value whatso ever.

  • @doctorw2 Or perhaps you just can't see the social value.

  • @hibraisil you know i take back my comment about this movie, after seeing the whole movie i see what the artist is trying to convey here but, still this is painfull to watch becuase of the negative sterotypes.

  • @doctorw2 I agree. I think it was his way of having an "intervention." I think its still relevant today. The stereotypes might stretch across a broader range but people are still using them to make decisions when they shouldn't be.

  • @doctorw2 Yeah some of the stereotypes were hard to watch, but that was the point. Bakshi entertained those certain stereotypes that were always in the back of peoples minds, but they never wanted to admit. He made it tougher by using as visual and literal a style as cartoon animation. in my opinion he did the right thing, he showed how stupid and short sighted race and it's stereotypes are. That's the whole reason why this movie is so esoteric, no one could stomach the truth that was in it

  • Can't see shit, worst lighting in a movie....ever....

  • This movie has every stereotype but the "Big Black dick, Athleticism, Cockiness, and never backing down attitude" this guy made this crappy animation out of jealousy.

  • @Reffiro You don't know what the fuck you are talking about. But thats cuz this is only a piece of the puzzle. Find the opening song by Scatman Crothers called "ahm a niggerman." Listen to the words.

  • OMG...I haven't seen this in years. I first watched this movie in '89, loved it then and I love it now :)

It is a nice highlight on the hypocrisy in this country. I'd like to say that we have moved past racism in this country, unfortunately, THE GOVERNMENT is the first to play the race card, just to remind you that you should hate each other because of RACE. ROTFLMFAO. i HAVE MORE IN COMMON WITH BLACKS THAN I DO RICH, SNIDE, ARROGANT POLITICIANS! I can think for myself thanx!

  • pretty interesting and weird, as well as stupid if any one ever felt like white people were the cause of all pain, Ben franklin was one of the first men in America to establish a anti slave organization and he was a white man, many white men fight for the rights of all men.

is the animator white black Hispanic what?

  • blacks = monkeys

  • Berry White voiceing the bear, did the creators of the Angry Beavers see this film?

  • Hell yeah! Us niggas should be down with this! :)

  • Hmmm.

  • Hard to watch, but that's the point. And it's why Bakshi was a truly underrated talent.

  • wut

  • the guy in the blue suite sounds just like foghorn leghorn!

  • By Ralph not having the resources like Disney forced him to do things never seen or thought up.

    This is very entertaining

  • Out of all the Bakshi movies I've ever seen - some of them good, others pretty awful - - THIS is Bakshi's best - - truly BRILLIANT....

  • It's A TRAP!

  • @CartoonFan:

    Ohhhh...it's so obvious, too. Thanks!

  • Long time ago I watched this with a black friend of mine - you'd say 'Africa-American' but he prefers to call himself 'American'.

I still remember his words: "mark my words, Blacks will love this film - but wiggers and niggers will hate it"

I mean - as a German, do I feel offended by movies about Nazis?

If I were black, I maybe feel insulted by Malcolm X - con-men & victims for almost 3 hours - but Coonskin? Come on!

  • @fenriz218

you fucked up crackers can fool your selves with anything ....

fuck you pale bastards and go make a film on your shitty asses and them talk about how only crackers and uncle toms not liking it yuh bunch of white-frauds...

OF COURSE YOUR NOT GOING TO BE OFFENDED BY NAZI GERMANY CAUSE YOU LOVE HOW YOUR ANCESTORS BURNED , STARVED ,ROBBED AND GASSED THEM JEWS OUT OF GERMANY ....

  • @BESTDICKINCHINA Sounds like someone has issues.

  • @BESTDICKINCHINA lol I sensed bullshit in that comment too

  • @sliat1981 It's more a commentary of thoughts of the times than it is racist.

  • I'm still a tad confused about Savior's helpers with the bags over their heads. Must be something behind all that. Somebody help me out.

  • My guess would be that they wear the bags over their heads to symbolize white oppression. Think about it. They wear WHITE bags, and when Simple Savior makes his big introduction/production number, his lackeys beat him to symbolize the evils and oppression of white people on blacks.

  • You guys are hilarious. All this debate and philosophy and that's only one part of the film. They deleted the other nine parts. Someone else probably posted them up here though.

  • Banned? why they produced it in the first place?

    why was that anyway?

and where we can find it though?

  • wow this movie must've had people losing it when it came out

  • i aint seen no black jesus lmao

  • "I'm a livin witness!"

  • Not racist? Racism knows no color boundaries.

  • As a black woman, I find this quite amusing.

  • genius i wonder how long itll take to get thrown off

  • why would it get taken down its not racist, its pro black culture hell all of the actors in it are black for fucks sake

  • no sorry you are the racist, there is no god no go crawl back into that disgusting pit you emerged from.

I have wasted more than enough time on you allready.

    peace

    brian

  • :) America.... wow! I'm sorry for you :) now i understand why you are so ignorant.

No, my father was white my mother was black...well brown to be more true to reality. Although they didnt get along nearer to the end of their marriage it was never about race....why? because neither of them where stupid!

    you however are.

I am not black and if you live in a sunny part of america you are probably darker than i am. None of my white or mexican friends hate me.

you are a moron trolling child.

  • your youtube profile says brazil not america, i hope that you dont come from brazil because it would make me sad and ashamed that such a wonderfully diverse culture could spawn such a mislead child.

    peace

    Brian

  • @sacredgeometry Copyright violations, nudity, all that good stuff.

  • oh yeah :) i forgot youtube doesnt approve of all that stuff haha its odd especially considering the vulgarity of some of the people who leave comments.

  • What's with the minions or whatever with bags over their heads?

  • 8:20- what the hell happened??

  • 5:27- isn't that the voice of Bubba from Sanford and Son?

  • great film....racist bullshyt charactures aside.

  • O.o i have no idea wtf im watching.... nor do i understand the plot. but from what i understand the black guys are going to fight white people or somthing. I find this interesting to say the least through....

  • nvm i get it now..sorta

  • do u remember disneys brar rabit how he tricks brar fox and brar bear this is sort of like a spoff on it with some historical and social bits hear and thir

  • 0:19-0:35 LMAO very very FUnny

  • AINT THIS A BITCH

  • what is racism? I seem to have forgotten. Wouldn't that be nice.

  • Comment removed

  • What the frick is with this?! How is this not racist? What's the purpose of this movie?

  • The purpose of the film was to show Black Culture in cities like New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, etc. Also I might be mistaken but it also showed how the black revolution was just as bad as the white oppressors. Watch The Nine Lives Of Fritz The Cat when Blacks get their own nation and it might serve as another point.

  • The purpose of this movie is to satirize racism. Ralph Bakshi uses that imagery because he is forcing us to confront all of the racist imagery used in our culture for the past 350 years or more. It savagely attacks those stereotypes.

  • @CartoonFan56

Did you know that Barry White does the voice for the Bear character?

  • where is part 3???

  • obviously banned. fuckin' youtube crackers

  • This movie is a masterpiece in it's own way! It kicks the ass of Family Guy and the Boondocks, clear across the field!

  • @honkycabbit dont forget south park

  • Ralphie boy couldn't have captured the feelings of most blacks in the cities towards whites any other way other than this masterpiece.

  • no the original name was Coonskin, They changed it to Street Fight. Your facts are backwards.

  • 67nairb, because that fat naked dude was a bigoted dumb-ass opportunist, like Jerry Fallwell and Al Sharpton, feeding their congregations a line. Killing whitey will make things all right? Elvis and The Duke were NEVER bigots though, it's a fact. Nixon I don't know about.

mobile513, you sound like a bigoted dumb-ass, too.

Damn right we're all the same, and really dumb, too.

"HOW are they gonna use your monies to work for you?" Classic movie, but one not everybody really *gets*.

  • God the scene between the Savior and his little bag man is so fucking funny.

  • how is this worse then part 5

  • "Oh she got the Clap" rofl

  • Why was the fat naked black dude firing at pictures of Elvis and John Wayne?

  • Elvis was a hero to most, but he never meant shit to him, you see. Straight up racist, that sucker was simple and plain, motherfuck him and John Wayne.

    Duh. Fight the Power.

  • @mobile513 How were John Wayne and Elvis racist?

  • I answered him with a convenient quote from Public Enemy 's "Fight the Power". You clearly missed The Golden Age of Rap lecture in music history class.

As far as I know, Elvis was a country boy who genuinely loved black culture, but many blacks resented him as another white man getting rich exploiting their work and selling it to fearful whites.

John Wayne, while a symbol of white manhood and the American right, was infamous at the time for racial comments he made in an issue of Playboy.

  • @mobile513 My school never had such a thing as "Music history class" or even a segment on c-Rap.

I can see how he was considered an exploitation artist back then, but for someone in the present to say he's a "straight up racist" is ludicrous just based on the fact that he adored another culture.

Unless he was actually hatefull towards differing ethnic groups then he wasn't racist.

  • That was a joke dude, although I think there should be classes on popular music in high school. Anyway, Chuck D wrote that song 20 years ago, go ask him about it, all I did was use a popular song quote to demonstrate perceptions of Elvis and John Wayne that some people hold, and thus why this guy is shooting pictures of them.

I also acknowledged the point you just made. As for the song itself, I imagine Chuck D didn't believe, at the time at least, Elvis was a genuine fan of black music.

  • "she got the clap" LOL

  • wait- was he naked the whole time? the big fat guy???

  • @midnightalastor I know I don't get it either.

  • thank u for posting this, my all time fav animated movies

  • this film was very great!

  • not a fan of the title but it is some funny old cartoon, only stumbled on this by accident you would find this near on impossible to find in shops these days.

  • yknow its a real culture shock to watch these , i mean these cartoons are historical treasure, you really find out what ppl were like back then

  • people still are. Movies like this show us we all the same... white black. rich poor. We all have trouble..

  • You mean we can kill any whites we wanna kill?

    Any whites.

  • This movie was a work of art.

I found it on vhs in blockbuster in 1996. It hadn't been rented in years.

Nowadays I doubt Blockbuster would carry this on DVD.

  • the one near my house carried "Heavy Traffic" for the longest time

  • Was it DVD or VHS? Coonskin, and Bakshi's other adult cartoons, were always available on VHS, but I usually found them in small mom&pop video stores.

Heavy Traffic was released on DVD in 1999. But I haven't found any "licensed" DVD of Coonskin yet.

  • Yeah, it was the 1999 DVD from MGM

  • damn that nigga got fucked by america again lol

  • the message is deeper than you think

  • lol that guy with the sharp teeth looks like a djinn or a goblin, or something!

  • Its such a shame that Bryanston Dist has flagged pts 12&3.

esp as the rights were assigned by Paramount back in the 70s?

  • you'd think if they don't bother releasing something on DVD then it wouldn't necessarily count as piracy

  • what happend to part 3

  • 7:39 Now You No Good Miss America

  • Miss America is just too skilled with her cooch.

  • Lol, Black liberation theology...

Im glad Jeremiah Wright wears a robe!

  • 0:47 "oh they're ready for their religion, huh?", "yeah, they're ready LOL", "well you know one thing about my people, they always show up". hahaha, i think it's funny how a group of people who got abused by a culture that followed a certain religion would wind up embracing that religion more than the people who abused them.

  • This is why more black people, and people in general, are becoming free-thinkers! LOL! I also watched the Zeitgeist movies and started being more objective to reality. Personally, I'm a deist...and I'm black. I see whatever makes nature function (from the things that science has verified to anything that's considered psychic and paranormal) as "god", the rest is just someone's, or some group's, opinion. So why should I have to have the same opinion as someone else?

  • best wishes

  • the truth will set one free..

  • the scene with the naked priest and the guy in the paper bag talking reminds me of coach mcgurk and brandon smalls on home movies XD

  • "Ohhh...she got the clap."

    XD

  • Whoa. For it's time...this shit is thought provokin as SHIT!

  • This is a good movie

  • C'mon, dude...let somebody light YOUR ass on fire and see if it changes YOUR world perspective. Yeah, Richard made a lot of "friendly" movies after the fire and he made BIG money. I just attribute that to him became a little bit more mature and growing. "Hey, I'm only human. I gotta look out for my kids and family. Maybe I shouldn't let my kids see me cursing all the time; maybe I should do something THEY can watch." For the record, Richard NEVER stopped being funny OR thoughtful.

  • that America has changed much since this film was released.

  • She's still just as alluring. Maybe a few more "booby-traps"

    :P

  • seeleunitone - My interpretation. Marigold represents one of white America's "stereotypical phobias or "fears". White women with black men. This movie deals with many complex but prevalent views. Marigold seems to be reincarnated in the form of "Miss America". Miss America is personified as a white female to convey the dichotomy between white and black America. Traditionally one could argue that inner city black males and Young white females are polar opposites in many ways although I believe

  • That's deep man. As many times as I've seen this movie, I'd never thought that Marigold had "morphed" into Ms. America, but it makes SENSE!

  • this movie is awsome

  • Some people want to take their clothes off when they're drunk.

  • This may sound stupid so do pardon me but,"When brother Rabbit killed the sheriff after the sheriff saw his partner try to have sex with his daughter, what happened to Marrigold?" And why would a sheriff's daughter become a brothel girl?

Plus she didn't seem to upset about her dad being killed off.

  • The preacher is naked because of his honesty/sincereity, everyone one around him understand the problem. The disease she (MissAmerica) carried was/is indifference/and parental neglect.Seeing her father die was probably better than enduring him alive. Many of the comments listed reveals that most of never really understood what many in a america see everyday,or listening to Coltrane for the first time, after being raised on Jerry Falwell and the Beatles..Good Luck

  • This flick is about urban crisis..At the time, the language, social feelings in Afrcian-American intercities, were shown in this piece, in a very sincere and for the most poetic fashion..Just as most folkes out side of the Reverend Wrights church/beliefs,etc have little idea what or how the intercity reality of the people who live there, present living situations,to each other.Miss America is the image of the pop culture and what it understands as truth, in the face of true tragady.

  • I've been wondering why the swindler peacher is naked?? I should have ask that when I frist saw this. Moreover why aren't the main characters shocked that there's a fat, naked man claiming to be the cousin of jesus and he's dancing around and stuff. If I ever saw a preacher dancing naked saying "kill whitey & join the revolution" I'd be freaked out

  • miss america is probably my favorite character..

hot, cruel and a gun hidden in her...um yes!

  • miss america is probably my favorite character..

hot, cruel and a gun hidden in her...um yes!

  • Rev Wright ???

  • NO!

This is not a parody of reverend Wright or anyone like him.

If anything, this guy is your average swindler preacher.

I don't think Reverend Wright was a swindler.

I just think people looked at his comments the wrong way.

  • She's got the clap ahahaha lmao

  • What's a "Clap"?

  • They're referring to the part at the end there where Miss America spreads her legs and dude gets shot.. it's symbolic of The Clap.

Here's a post I made on that several months ago:

Not that I'm an expert on STD's or anything, but "the Clap" is Gonnorhea, not Chlamydia. The nickname came from the way it was treated back in the day.. to get rid of all the bacteria blocking urination in males, they had to slap IT simultaneously on both sides, basically Clapping on it. Yeah, OUCH.

  • With a book. And the stuff just pops right out. Like a gun.

  • "Clap" is a vanerial disease

  • But it feels like a gunshot to the body. lol
