Wait a second, if this footage won't air on TV, then the Spike viewers are gonna miss out on the entire beginning of the match? That sucks! I mean, that's got to be the weakest fucking thing in televised pro wrestling since David Arquette becoming the WCW Champ..seriously.

It's to tease UFC Ultimate Fighter vieweers to tune in to Impact. They showed Joe's entrance during a comercial break during Ultimate Fighter, making it look like the match started before they went on air. The they showed the rest of the match at the start on Impact to get Ultimate Fighter viewers to stay tuned to the show.
It's called Marketing.
