  • domination of the lyrical world!

  • The Doors are easily my favourite band. I actually think a few of these lyrics are from a poem by William Blake, too. You might want to check up on it sometime.

  • your music never die, jim!!

  • Best words eva!! Genius Jim!

  • sends chills down my spine

  • Nice one Beatnik, pics of the whole band not just of Jim. The Doors were 4 not just 1.

  • At the time I thought the man was arrogant but I sure did like the music. Incredible loss.

  • 1:15 to 1:36...seems to me the most connected part of the song. all of the band seems so connected on one thing.

  • there is no band greater than the doors!!!

  • frome 2'05", the feeling of homeless

  • i just watched the doors movie, made in 1991. i heard this song and i recognized it cuz of the joe perry cd in 2005. i thiught that joe made that song up. i was mistaken.

  • It's a beautiful song. Rest In Peace Jim Morrison. You will always be the King of Rock!

  • I really love that song

  • this music captures the sacred character of the profane.their music transports us into a romantic setting of the wagnerian era.that's what we have lost, the sacred quality of life, something the greeks had. this means accepting the irrational and dreaming of the fantastic.

  • great video

  • Classic song thanks for posting.

  • yay! I made the 100th comment! What do i win?

  • deez nuts

  • Always was my favourite Doors song. Short but perfect. Lovely chord changes and the mid-section is sublime... sort of free-rolling, spacious melancholy. The opening line introduces us to a live scene that is already running. Like a film.

  • Truly crazy how ahead of their time they all were... still are!

  • it is a dream

  • truly a beautiful song almost brings a tear to my eye everytime i listen to it

  • wish it was longer too!!!

    great song

  • this video is the best ¡¡¡¡ love it ¡¡¡¡

  • yeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Is one of my favorites...

  • My favorite Doors song, and yes I wish it was longer too!

  • Amazing song!I love it!

  • i agree, i really wish it had another piano solo like the first one

  • yea, the piano is probably my favorite part of the song

  • what an amazing song

  • this songs about crystal meth...

its just a bunch of metaphors ..referencing..

    crystal...

    and him and his girl.

still one hell of a purdy song..

  • What an amazing song, the chords are beautiful!!!

  • and a pain in teh ass to make on a guitar!

  • It's very easy actually, its not very hard

  • no way, that Db / Eb formation is kinda tricky. ive been playing guitar for a while and that formation reminds me of what it was like to learn chords for the first time.

  • The Doors. nuff said

  • super musik

  • Great Greeat Song!

  • The psychadelic photo at the end is really great. You don't see much of the original psychadelics anymore.

  • That man was was brillant. His voice is so interesting and the music, never done before. But the magic is in the lyrics... INCREDIBLE

  • Great video!!!

  • The Doors were an incredible band. Diferent from everyone and everything.

  • indeed an incredible song...and if there is a god, yes, its him

  • Jim was the best lyrical poet.

  • wanted to add how much beautiful depth the piano brings to this song....
