@matrixmeow redoing a commentary to clear up information I stated later on is bullocks. I usually correct myself in annotations, and feel free to be grammar nazi, but do not patronize me.

The TAR is a better weapon, I find myself using the SCAR due to recoil with a silencer. The TAR w/o a silencer and w/SP is the fastest killing automatic AR in the game, so it clearly has a faster fire rate, I missed that in my commentary, but I don't have access to annotations, sorry for the discrepancy.

UMP with SP = 2 bullet kill close range (40 x 1.4 = 56)

UMP without = 3 bullet kill at any range

TAR-21 with SP has the highest DPS in the game.

@matrixmeow Sorry mate, it does not have the highest DPS in the game, close range MP5K w/RF and SP kills in .053s, and is the fastest killing automatic weapon in the game. I made it a point to say AR for a reason.

UMP's are great for subterfuge, because the majority of encounters are on your terms, stopping power is not needed (this is why I have red tiger for the UMP without using it much) so your goal is not to engage enemies in a firefight at short range, instead it is to dispatch them by flanking maneuvers. Due to their run-speed modifiers, SMG's make great guns to sprint to the enemy spawn and kill them before they entrench themselves in one specific area. -Panda

what he ment by that is that stopping power isnt the best perk because the low range counterdicts the extra damage(and that goes for all SMGs and also shotguns). stopping power DOES effect them but it isnt as benificial as it would be for a sniper or assult rifle. for ghosting cold blooded is a must and SMGs are the gun of choice because of what I said above^^^

Its too hard to get unless you do the glitch.

And the glitch is: Shoot at an enemy helicopter while it is spinning out of the map when it is destroyed. You have to shoot it with cold blooded on.

It's not true that UMP doesn't benefit from Stopping Power. HOWEVER, it is truely one of the few weapons that do not benefit A LOT from SP, like the FAL.
