10:30 the boat pushed you into the wall, beacuse the boat will rise up and stick your head in any block above it, thus you suffered suffocation damage, but if the walls were made of glass or another semi-solid block, you would not. Etho did a video sorta explaining it, called underwater transport or something like that, using that very concept to make underwater travel
