I love the work you do. I've just taken an interest in jewelry making and I'm going through all of your videos. Did you make that necklace you have on in this video and if so do you have a tutorial for that? Thanks
@1100bunz No, that's what you have to use; honestly the gilder's is a bit fumey all in itself. If it bothers you, wear nitrile gloves and use exhaust or a respirator, or on a nice day like today go on outside with it. Put the paint thinner in a cup....you need only an ounce or so, maybe not even that much!don't breathe it, just dip your brush in it a tad bit as I showed you. Don't clean your hands w paint thinner, some do. Soap and water and a nail brush will clean you up nicely!
@strube1369 That's the whole reason for them.....for those who need plated finishes, I really think we have the best, and I like people to know why. But for those who want to step outside of the box, the sky is the limit...you can do anything! Thanks for visiting my messy workshop with the messy leaning shelves and funky doofus! There's a lot going in that little messy place!
Your videos are very informative, your artwork is awesome and so too is that gorgeous necklace you are wearing!! Thank you for sharing!

Any alternative to paint thinner? Too toxic for me.
