yes it is from an old film called 'Johnny got his gun' Its about a soldier in WW1 who gets hit by a mortar shell(explosive), loses all his limbs ,his mouth, his ears, his eyes and tongue. So he is imprisoned in his own body and can only think. Pretty sad film.

The worst thing is...in the movie and the book the guy lives on because the general stopped the nurse from putting the poor guy out of his misery. The camera fades away, he is stuck in his mind and its left to the viewer's imagination for how long. Who knew, there IS something worse than being buried alive. Ask Johnny.
