You know, Zhou Mi and Henry never ASKED to be considered for the original Super Junior. What are you on about, what is this 'utter rudeness' you refer to at 1:34 and 3:35? And who are 'these people' you are referring to, the rest of suju (which would seem to be the case, if the rest of your comment is anything to go by), or the fans? It's quite natural for the fans to oppose it initially, as many of them saw it as the company putting it's interests (expanding) ahead of those of the group members (more and more members, which could lessen the role of current ones;
cont. that wasn't the case, but it was normal for the fans to see it that way). As far as suju members are concerned, they were more than welcoming, and I haven't seen them once behaving in a way that would suggest that they did anything other than accept them as their own. As for your Intimate Note comment, perhaps you should remember that it was a well edited SHOW, and that their awkwardness is in reality just a relationship you would expect to develop in when people with different

I was talking about the fans with the Only 13 signs and the girl doing a thumbs down when Henry introduced himself. The members openly welcomed Henry and Mimi and told the fans to protect Super Junior, not Only 13. I understand where you are coming from in the first part of your reply but that reason alone does not give them the right to insult Henry like they did. They pretty much rejected him and Zhou Mi without getting to know anything about them.
(Part2) I could understand the fans protesting if they were trying to force their ways into SJ but they weren't. Besides, SM saw the potential and talent in those two so why wouldn't they want to try and add them in? More talent = more awards = More money for SM. Also, the fans were basically saying "The original 13 are close and they could never understand the love they share. Adding them in would make the group split up." This was their mindset but look at how close Kyuhyun and Zhou Mi are.
But you're not understanding one thing (yes, I agree with you, they shouldn't have been attacked the way they were (the fans knew nothing about them)), the attacks were directed at them not because those fans had anything against them personally, but simply because they were the easiest target to protest against what to some seemed like an uninvited and forceful move, on part of SM.
(Part3) Same with Henry and Ryeowook. It's not a matter of time spent together, as long as they get along well. Plus, the members were openly against the fans campaign yet the fans still continued with it. Plus, if the guys were against it then they would have asked for help from their fanbase but they didn't. My problem is that the Only13ers said they did it for the guys yet that is not what SJ wanted. Plus, Henry was only like 18 when he joined SJM and he received so much hate its frightening.
(Part4)Anyway, about your thing about Intimate Note...I agree with that but being in such a big group I'm sure that there's no way they can be incredibly close with every single member. Yes, they do treat each other like family and such but its almost impossible to spread up the time between schedules and all to get close with everyone, even over 4 years since they are always so busy. Anyway, my point is that they didn't give Henry and Mimi a chance to know the members and become accepted as a
(Part5) part of SJ. They hated them without reason and that is why the Only13ers frustrate me so much. Hope that cleared up what I meant, sorry for writing so much haha.

So yes, basically, those were just misdirected attacks; as for their severity, it's a case of people deciding to blame someone, hating them, and wanting to hate them more (so making up things to make it possible)
cont.5. the stupidity of hatred, and the attacks and all that, aside, it was just a natural (I don't mean it in a good way) (unfortunately natural for many of us; and something that reveals a very ugly side of us) reaction to what they perceived the situation to be. As to whether or not the member's would ask for their fans' support if they were against the new members being added, I doubt they would; the company would have discussed it with them and either decided to forget about it (if there

I was talking about the fans with the Only 13 signs and the girl doing a thumbs down when Henry introduced himself. The members openly welcomed Henry and Mimi and told the fans to protect Super Junior, not Only 13. I understand where you are coming from in the first part of your reply but that reason alone does not give them the right to insult Henry like they did. They pretty much rejected him and Zhou Mi without getting to know anything about them.

Besides, SM saw the potential and talent in those two so why wouldn't they want to try and add them in? More talent = more awards = More money for SM. Also, the fans were basically saying "The original 13 are close and they could never understand the love they share. Adding them in would make the group split up." This was their mindset but look at how close Kyuhyun and Zhou Mi are.

But you're not understanding one thing (yes, I agree with you, they shouldn't have been attacked the way they were (the fans knew nothing about them)), the attacks were directed at them not because those fans had anything against them personally, but simply because they were the easiest target to protest against what to some seemed like an uninvited and forceful move, on part of SM.

(Part3) Same with Henry and Ryeowook. It's not a matter of time spent together, as long as they get along well. Plus, the members were openly against the fans campaign yet the fans still continued with it. Plus, if the guys were against it then they would have asked for help from their fanbase but they didn't. My problem is that the Only13ers said they did it for the guys yet that is not what SJ wanted. Plus, Henry was only like 18 when he joined SJM and he received so much hate its frightening.

There's no denying that it's unjust and ridiculous, but the best and only thing you can do is to not listen, and wait for them to calm down. We all know how passionate some of these fans are, and that they can be so fanatical, that they will come up with what are fundamentally childish ideas and rationalizations, born of hate and anger, but to them seem real.

I mean it was irrational, of course it was; it was a decision made by the SM, they wanted to place two of their trainees into suju; any rational person would see that if anyone is to blame (and if there is something to blame someone for), it would be the management of the company, not the trainees who were following orders (who were doing nothing wrong, and I doubt had much say; they were happy to debut in any way offered to them).

I don't understand why though. Henry and ZhouMi are a part of SUJU as the others, just because they're the newest members, doesn't discount them from that. Not to mention they get along with all of the other members and are their friends.
