I've been studying ALLreligions (mostly christianity), since the early 60's.I am too old to not tell the truth, here it is: I really believe that the christian faith is a test, but completely opposite of how they think it is. @djbehemoth True gods are not men and men are not gods. But doesn't it make sense that GOD is capable of anything and everything? So why rule out the possibility of becoming human? Ask yourself this. "What is a GOD if HE doesn't know what it is to be human?" It is my belief that he became flesh and showed us that we can live righteous even though we are tempted everyday. And He died for us so we don't have to. It was His gift to us. i am not righteous by any means, but im a believer.

If the Christian god exists and their faith in this god is as strong as most claim it is then why must Christians be so terrified when others doubt the Christian belief system. After all, they have the almighty creator of the universe on their side so they should have absolutely nothing to fear. Yet they get defensive when someone doubts or questions their faith. Hmmm...could it be that deep down they know their belief system is nothing but a myth and fear more and more will figure it out

@nosajj12345 Or could it be that these things were foretold thousands of years ago in the Bible and we are trying to wake people up, let them know that these prophesies are becoming very real and true and maybe you should look into it to know the truth. Has nothing to do with fear or a myth, it has to do with the truth and what is coming to fruition.

It is religion that is the target. It just so happens that Christianity is by far the dominant religion in this country, therefore it gives the appearance that it is Christianity that is the target. In other words, other religions are part of the target, but Christianity is a huge percentage of the target.

Actually, considering how large Christianity is, it would be absurd to think that there's no group out there that would attack it. It is under attack, but so is Atheism and evolution. The difference is, 80% of Americans are Christians, so to feel that they're being successfully persecuted is ridiculous.

Even if they are under attack, it is with words, and the unshackling of their dogma, not with the torture devises, and swords that they used not to long ago.
Even if abortion is murder(it is not) Then we would still need to work hard to put a small dent into how many have died at the hands of Christianity.

Right wing fundametnalist Christians are certainly on the attack but Christianity itself is not under attack. Any attempt to reason with or criticize fundamentalists results in these people playing the victim and crying , "persecution!" but this is a tactic in their culture war against America.

Just so you know not every Republican believes that America should be a Christian nation. I am a Republican and a Christian. I think that the US should be a secular nation. With the exception of abortion, I agree with Democrats on every other moral issue. Economic issues are a different story, I definitely lean right on those.

Kids are free to pray any time in public schools before, between, and after classes. They just can't take time out during class to have a prayer session that students who may or may not share their beliefs would have to sit thru, if not participate in, or have the teacher lead such a session.
Also, Jesus said for his followers to pray in their closets, and that those who insisted in praying out in the open were usually hypocrites.

The thing about these people is that want to condemn anyone who isn't like them or believes what they believe. They want to deny them civil rights and spew hatred but then they whine and complain if someone says Happy Holidays and say it's a war on Christmas. Many Christians will face persecution if we live as Jesus intends us to live. I pray that I will have the strength to endure this in the future. But God has brought His people through the toughest of times, and we don't need to fear anything because Christ has given us the awesome gift of eternal life. This gift applies to everyone, and no amount of persecution will prevent this truth from being revealed to the world! God bless you all.
