You've probably heard this before, but how do you make dialogues that way. What program do you use to cut and past bits of dialogue and is it hard to do?

I love this mod, but never went into the prison area. Going to reinstall the mod now.

@Hurvl I use Audacity. Its easy to throw dialogue together, but hard to make it sound normal. If you make another comment, or if you blink an eye, (heh) I'll jack you into a mouse.

I've found ambient sounds in the Sounds folder and had some fun with that, but there is no dialogue in there. Where should I look and do I have to do anything fancy/advanced to be able to play with it.

@Hurvl The files are in System, labeled DeusExConAudioMissionXX.unr you don't have to do anything advanced. Hell, they will even open in winamp if you just want to listen to them.

I downloaded Winamp and clicked on the menu File and then Play file, but when I tried to select a track in the Deus System folder, there was nothing for me to select. It was completely empty just saying "No objects matched the search". Audacity (or any other program I have installed) don't recognize DeusExConAudioMission00.u since it's a U-file.

@Hurvl Strange, it opens just fine for me. I open Audacity, File > Open, and select the file. Make sure you have "Files of type:" set to 'all files'. Same thing works for winamp.

@MadGangster I can open it with Winamp now, it has "all supported files" as default setting and I simply changed that, but Audacity has "All files" as default setting when you click on File> Open (so no need to change it) and it says "Error importing. Audacity doesn't recogize this file" and tells me that I should try to click "Import raw data" if the file is uncompressed. I have "Audacity 1.3 Beta (Unicode)", Maybe I need a different version. What version do you have?

@Hurvl I have version 1.2.6 and it definitely works, maybe its because yours is a beta version that it doesn't work (I'm just guessing though).

@MadGangster I looked it up and it says on the site, audacity.sourceforge net, "1.2 does not support Windows 7" and that anyone running Windows 7 should upgrade to the version I have, 1,3.14 Beta, if they're using the older 1.2 version. What a shame.

I think it would be a good idea to block off the exit from the level somehow. Say, Tracer Tong suddenly appears, the (un)usual dialogue ensues, and then he explodes somehow and takes you down.

That way, you can't exit the level. :3
