Also, I don’t know what the material they make those long foot pedals and those bolts that hold them to the front and back wheel, but if one of those should crack and break, a person would hit the ground extremely hard.

At least with a regular bicycle or tricycle, the frame and seat holds most of your weight.

With the elliptical bike, your entire weight is held up by those foot pedals, and some of us are a lot more than a hundred and forty pounds.
