  • First guy is the cutest ;)

  • "Dont ask dont tell" is finally gone now. Right now as im writing, its Jan, 01, 2012. The first year to start without that policy (even though it ended in September.)

  • @montsyblackmadonna The F word of course meaning the word FUCK. Like as in, montsyblackmadonna is a fucking Westboro Cult Wannabe Skank.

  • It is surprising to me how much people really care what someone like me does is my personal life! As long as I kept my private life private, it shouldn't matter if i was gay, straight, or a satanist. DADT restricting gays from the military was stupid, gays can work at McDonalds or anywhere else and not hit on their coworkers there. There is no reason to fear gays in the military anymore than fearing the boogeyman under the bed (he doesn't exist)

  • If one feels a need to serve the country by joining the military, they have , for the most part, have an idea of what the military involves. When I served, as an army medic, I found gays on active duty. I found, like many minoritys, they self segregated. work wise, they were professionals. I had no complaints as a supervisor, and as I was promoted, I met more and more gays, serving our country. I found the only issues was the need to deceive that DADT required. I am glad it is over.

  • that guy's butt at 26:09 is freaking huge!!!!!

  • @Mr420Lifer Considering most of the first world already allows gays in the military, I highly doubt anyone will care.

  • @JEZUZDELIGHT My garden is full of ladybugs. Maybe you shouldn't step out there either.

  • The military now = gay whorehouse! The military is cursed by God! Praise the Lord!

  • @GrandInquisitor7 Go to bed, Fred.

  • @GrandInquisitor7 Barney Rubble is the Antichrist and proof man existed with the dinosaurs. Bam Bam, super human strength? Pretty obvious if you ask me.

  • I was a former US Navy Hospital Corpsman who served with the Marines in Iraq, and Afghanistan. In my Company, there were several Marines who's sexual orientation was a very poorly kept secret. You know how much it mattered? Absolutely not one fucking bit! I would've gladly laid down my life for any one of them, and I know they'd have done the same for me. Gay, or not!

  • @ExUSSailor Thank you.

  • gays fuck each other, they are disgusting and sex should not be had between soldiers who are fighting. end of story. gays are immoral, and have no sense of monogamy, they will experience now jealosy, and untrust for their gay fellows and untrust of their asshole being safe. gays should not be in the military.

  • put the gays in the front line of battle

  • @SniffyHoppy yes this is a good idea, gays do nothing to help humanity except make good musical broadway hits and claim to have superior interior design skills. that is all.

  • @y0utUBeH8r i fucking love this guy, no homo of course^

  • DADT is an abomination, I'm so glad it was repealed!

I'll definitely celebrate on the 20th of September...

  • @eliote17 homosexuality is an abomination to heterosexuals. the fact we are forced to accomodate such gross behavior such as men strutting in high heels, it is shameful to say we allow such behavior. shameful.

  • @y0utUBeH8r I’m going to take a wild guess and say you’re religious. Well, your religion is an abomination and it is shameful that we have to accommodate your medieval superstitions in the 21st century. FYI; not all gays are drag queens you idiot.

  • @HufflepuffPrince youre wrong stfu, fag

  • @y0utUBeH8r Lol, how articulate of you. I’m beginning to wonder about a lot of you homophobes; if you’re spending so much time and energy on hating gays then one ponders whether or not your homophobia is internalised. I suggest you get a life and stop obsessing over what consenting adults do in the bedroom. What kind of weirdo devotes their time to such a spurious subject that’s none of your damn business? If I like cock; what's it to you?

  • @HufflepuffPrince to me i do not want to know about it, i would prefer you keep it in the closet, go get married to a woman, and pretend to be something youre not for your entire life because, well i am a human being and humans tend to reproduce and have happy lives, i do not see that being the case with homos. you all live wishing you could join in the fun but too bad youre gay and you probably dont want to spread your sperm and possibly create more gays, look how your life was already...

  • @y0utUBeH8r One does not need to have children to be happy. Loads of straight people are happy living together childless. We are born to love and if men fall in love with women, men with men, women with women then that is a beautiful thing. And by the way, gays can have children; it’s called adoption. We don’t all want to “join in the fun.” The world is overpopulated as it – besides, I dislike children anyway so why would I want to sire them?

  • @HufflepuffPrince umm, if i ever join the military i will fucking strangle murder any fool who tells me he is gay, that shit is degrading to hear, gayness is a social program and an evil act of humans, it should not exist and you all are brainwashed for believinig it is ok, its not. you will burn trust me. there is a reason you all were called "gay" and "queer" its because it is fucking WIERD, or evil. like u know satan, people sodomizing and shit, that is something you wouldnt understand.

  • @y0utUBeH8r Yeah, that’s perfect logic. Gay people in committed relationships who love one another are somehow wickeder than people joining the military and slaughtering their fellow human beings. If anyone is going to burn in hell; it will be murderers as well as bigots such as yourself. And what a shame that you put so much stock in a book written thousands of years ago by murderous, misogynistic and xenophobic men. Now that shit’s fucked up. Religion has brainwashed you.

  • @HufflepuffPrince i agree, but im no bigot, that is simply a label people like to throw around to try and discredit other people with, and isnt it nice we all live in AMERICA where our thoughts and opinions can be our own and we do not have to agree wiith everything shuvved down our throats? well get used to it. i am simply voicing my opinion, and homosexuality to me is part of population control. less babies coming out means less people on the planet, dont you get it?

  • @y0utUBeH8r Well I don’t live in America but you can hold and voice your opinions and I shall hold and voice mine.

  • @HufflepuffPrince its ok, soon if nothing is done to stop that which the homosexual agenda is part of, america or no america, no border will mater, and even now it makes little difference what country you live in these days, except if its a poor country , thats tough, but yeah you got a macdonalds and a walmart in your town i bet. if not you will soon.

  • @y0utUBeH8r "umm, if i ever join the military i will fucking strangle murder any fool who tells me he is gay,"

    Don't join the military, then.

  • @y0utUBeH8r Your idiocy is an abomination. Why do intelligent people have to tolerate people like you?

  • @eliote17 you replied, join the club asshole. You don't know how intelligent I am form a comment btw. That is only your failure, as a person of so called intelligence, to sum up a person by an online persona, get it? now stfu.

  • recycle bin full: DADT / HRC/ GLSEN / GLB/ and 45,000,000 more results just in 0.9 seconds.

  • @JEZUZDELIGHT You are retarded if you believe for one second that gays have not been serving in the military... DADT did not stop gays from joining. There are WAY more than you would think and the military still seems to function... I know it sounds crazy but its still true. The military didn't miss out on a good soldier. I will just be free of one more bigot.

  • The repeal of DADT was a necessity and a great step forward in the struggle for emancipation. But is it a way to hide what the US army really is? A huge tool of imperialism and oppression of people all over the world! From Vietnam to Iraq, Afghanistan to Guantanamo, the US Army is at the service of the very rich capitalists ruling the world like a simple piece of marchandise. The true way to human freedom would be to ban every kinds of imperialism and capitalism all over the world.

  • Loved this

  • I have been alive for close to 20 years

same sex orientated people have been allowed to serve their countries

for close to 20 years. This is such a disgrace~ sometimes I loose faith in humanity

but the 2010 repeal of the 'don't ask, don't tell' policy, was a great day.

  • Comment removed

  • why is the writting on the board sloppy?

  • @JEZUZDELIGHT theres like zero gays in the military anyway

  • lol he was a rear admiral

  • Comment removed

  • Don't Ask Don't Tell

  • I want to be completely honest. As a straight person recently enlisted in the service, I could really care less if Don't Ask Don't Tell is repealed. I believe that as long as a homosexual can carry themselves in a professional manner and want to serve in the military, they can do so. Based on this video, it seems as if these prior service members can carry themselves very professionally. If it takes a gay person to do the job, so be it!

  • I still dont understand why they are making a big deal out of it......everyone in the world is already gay.....

  • @ev1lcupcak3 ..so when does a hard working husband decides that his wife turns him off and he wants to have sex with drag queens? or when does a high-school basketball player decides he wants to dump his girlfriend and get fucked in the ass by men? when does a divorced mother of three decides she wanna become hardcore, manly and have sex with women?what if you neighbor woke up and decided he loves Dogs? he always felt he was born that way?its his sexuality right? why treat him any different?

  • @ev1lcupcak3 if people were really born gay then why was people so afraid to come out of the closet back then??? guilt?? shame? .........hmmm....i think its the same guilt and shame that adam an eve felt.........no matter how fucked up the worlds gotten or how large the gay community has risen, you can never forget the guilt and shame.......sin is sin.....why are people trying to make homosexuality a nation of people?? damn where my robbers at then?? i think we were born with a gun.."sarcasm"

  • @r82006me You are fucking retarded. Being gay does not harm anyone and is not a crime. There is no solid evidence that people are born gay, but every gay person says that it is not a choice. It doesnt matter. And its only a "sin" according to christians who are living in the dark ages.... the same people who put women down, hung blacks from trees, wouldnt let white people marry other races.... on and on and on. You people are embarassing.

  • @janses08 no you people are embarassing. what the fuck does white supremacy has to do with this? oh "did you go to my page and see that i am black?? "lol you dont make any sense at all

  • why the hell would they edit the phase i wanted to serve my country

  • I see no problem with gays in the army (or any other of the armed services). If anyone gets through basic, then they deserve to be in.

  • I forgot who said it, but some congressman addressed the issue saying..

"You don't have to be straight to shoot straight."

And when people think of gays in the military they think of very flamboyant ones like Andy Dick or drag queens. The truth is homo or not a wimpy person won't make it period.

  • @Mr420Lifer They already have rules against public displays of affection for EVERYBODY, which means there is no problem.

  • @DMoD129 The repeal of DADT came after 109,883 responses to the DADT repeal survey conducted by the military revealed over 70% of serving personnel had no problem with openly gay or lesbian soldiers, most knowing at least one. The repeal bill passed overwhelmingly in the Senate with 6 Republicans crossing the floor to vote for it. Public support for the repeal was 68% (28% against). All other countries in NATO have removed discrimination over a decade ago, and all report no adverse consequences.

  • @Mr420Lifer Try keeping your straightness to yourself too then. Not so easy, is it?

  • @Mr420Lifer You obviously have never met a gay person have you? Most are indistinguishable from straights and you wouldn't know they were gay unless you asked.

  • @Mr420Lifer What makes America look like a joke is that we ended our gay ban nearly a decade after most other countries in the developed world.

  • hahaha look at that Asian kid 3:50

  • @7Rafe7 wtf?? hows that funny?

  • but honestly....no homosexual relationships in the military

  • @infantryman29 that has nothing to do with dont ask dont tell. no heterosexual relationships in the military too.

  • this is why i think college kids are hippes

  • I used to wonder why they wanted to keep us homosexuals out of harm's way, and only send heterosexuals into battle to be killed. Wouldn't homophobes who want us dead be far happier if they sent only homosexuals into battle, and kept the heterosexuals safe at home for breeding?

If you're so easily frightened by the thought of showering with another male who happens to be homosexual, what in the hell are you doing in the armed forces?

  • @DerekWilliamsMusic hahaha nice argument

  • @DerekWilliamsMusic it is not because people are homophobes, while some may be, that is not the reason why they want to keep gay, lesbian, and transgender people out of the military. The real reason is because all armed forces do a lot of blood transfusions on the battlefield and off, and often take blood directly from someone on the field of battle, and it is more likely to be infected with HIV and other diseases. However, this doesnt mean you cant help your country.

  • @gomets3277

    • You can't get in if you're HIV+.

    • Gays make up a small part of the general population and an even smaller part of the Military.

    • Gays already serve.

    • Straight Blacks have the second highest increase in HIV infection

    • HIV is tested for annually in the Military

    • HIV+ Service Members can't serve in roles that put others at risk of infection

There'd be a less than 1 per cent increase in the risk due to homosexuals, and don't you think they already thought of all this?

  • @mensskintightlowrise whos to say that they wont get it while theyre in? and some of them, yes, but a large portion of the people ive heard are saying that all conservatives are homophobic and using religion as a means to oppress, which isnt true, and you said yourself that they make up a small part of the military which means their numbers arent going to be as high as a group that makes up a large portion, referring to african american males, and dont you think we should try to reduce the risk

  • @gomets3277 Neither is there anything to say that a black man would not get HIV, because black heterosexual men are the second highest risk group, but I notice you're only anxious to prevent gays from serving.

Now let's turn to homosexual women. These are the lowest risk group of all, so to carry your 'logic' to conclusion, only lesbians should serve because heterosexuals male and female pose a higher risk.

If you really want to eliminate the risk, you could achieve this by sacking everyone.

  • @mensskintightlowrise there is no possible way to argue that a homosexual is less at risk then a heterosexual, and what youre asking is like why cant a blind or deaf man or woman serve, theyre human too, so shouldnt they be able too? no, because itd hurt people around them, it may not be morally right but its in our best interest, and once again, im not saying they cant be able to help the military, im just saying that they shouldnt be allowed to be involved with combat, they can still hold

  • @gomets3277 OK, it's obvious you did not read any of the evidence put before the military. All these factors were taken into account or the military would never have accepted the change. Considering that the military has the power to overthrow a government.. Gays already serve in the military. All this repeal achieved was to allow them to continue to serve without lying through their teeth every day of their lives.

  • @mensskintightlowrise i understand this, however you need to listen to what im saying, let them hold an office job, something that lets you serve, not lie, and help just as much as you would if you were going to be fighting, this endangers no one and lets you do what you want, serve, help, and protect your country, i dont see what the problem with this is

  • @gomets3277 the problem is that your homophobia has so blinded your logic you wont' countenance anything that does not reduce gays to paper pushers. Your logic is that a greater risk of HIV infection should disqualify a person from serving. Therefore, according to your logic, only lesbians should servie, because both straight and gay men and straight women pose a higher risk of HIV infection than lesbians.

  • @mensskintightlowrise i was waiting for that, that ignorant comment of homophobia, you can call me a homophobic out of your ignorance, and you can tell my gay friends too, i tried to be respectful but that was completely ignorant and you still wont listen to me, its the same thing as arguing should a disabled person serve, the answer is no, but why not? are you just scared of disabled people and that theyre different? no, i merely dont want avoidably casualties

  • @gomets3277 There is a world of difference between an HIV negative, able-bodied gay man, and a man who is disabled. Most gay men strenuously avoid contracting HIV. Sacking tens of thousands of gay men from active service because a handful *might* contract it, is as ridiculous as it is offensive.

Please provide proof that your evidence is correct and that obtained by the military is wrong.

  • @mensskintightlowrise which would you rather have: 1 person contracting HIV, or none? its a simple question, why put others in danger when its not necessary and homosexuals can still serve and protect by doing an office job, please tell me whats so bad about it? and the military has been against this for years, it just received so much pressure with obama as president, and democrats in power in congress

  • @gomets3277 Your example of direct blood transfusion is a red herring, because a major incompatibility of blood type during a transfusion can be serious and life threatening, and can also compromise the immune system. It would be successful only if the blood types of both soliders were known and were compatible. It is simply not a common enough an occurrence to be relevant. The chance of all these things happening concurrently with one of the two parties being HIV+ is negligible.

  • @mensskintightlowrise what are you talking about? they do this all the time when a soldier, marine, etc is wounded, thats why many wear their blood type on their boot or dogtag, and if someone has HIV and doesnt know it then it would be easily transfered to someone else

  • @gomets3277 If you believe that a person being straight guarantees they will be HIV negative then you need educating and may be at higher risk yourself because you may be having unprotected sex in the belief that your heterosexuality makes you immune.

The known ways to avoid HIV transmission are to either abstain from sex, or use safe sex practices, and not to share syringes. By taking tens of thousands of perfectly able bodied HIV negative gay men out of service, you place the nation at risk.

  • @mensskintightlowrise how many times do i have to say it? im not trying to say that this would eliminate HIV in the military completely, however, this would reduce the risk of the spread of HIV, and if they want to serve their country enough to want to risk their life then they can help in an office job, which doesnt mean just pushing papers, they can start their own charity which is a lot of action, or other jobs that help just as much and can be exciting

  • @gomets3277 To date, over 230,000 African Americans have died of AIDS - nearly 40% of total deaths - and of the more than 1 million people living with HIV in the United States of America today, around half are black.1 And yet, as a racial group, African Americans represent just 13% of the US population. (avert.org/hiv-african-americans.htm)

  • @mensskintightlowrise this is the general population, including homo and heterosexuals, not the military numbers

  • @gomets3277 This is true, however my point is that because blacks connote the highest risk of HIV infection, your logic which you have willy nilly applied exclusively to gay men, should eliminate all blacks from active service.

Why do you want high risk gays to be eliminated but not high risk black men?

  • @gomets3277 This is true, however my point is that because blacks connote the highest risk of HIV infection, your logic which you have willy nilly applied exclusively to gay men, should eliminate all blacks from active service.

Why do you want only HIV negative gays to be eliminated but not high risk black men?

  • @mensskintightlowrise african americans connote the highest risk of HIV infection of civilians, not only that, but we are comparing a race to a sexual preferance, and im saying this because it would spread faster through some careless homosexuals, and we shouldnt waste the time or money to sort the people out or guess when you can still work for the country in dfferent ways

  • @gomets3277 Totally unacceptable. You will never persuade tens of thousands of HIV negative, able bodied, patriotic gay men to sign up to the military to do "office work". How ridiculous. Fortunately your bizarre ideas are not the policy of the military who have stated they will implement the repeal of DADT, and I am 100% sure that they know all they need to about HIV risk and prevention. They clearly know more than you, because they have access to the facts.

    Where is your

  • @mensskintightlowrise i never said i knew more then them, keep in mind im stating my opinion, and youre stating yours, which is the beauty of democracy, they are opinions, not facts, nor are they to be forced upon one another, however, if they dont want to do office jobs, then they dont have to, but i dont want people to get hurt when it isnt necessary, and my ideas arent bizarre, just as yours arent either, you just refuse to see it my way, however, i see where youre coming from, you feel

  • @gomets3277 I am not HIV positive. I never will be. I refuse to do office work in the military just because I am homosexual. So there.

  • @mensskintightlowrise then dont, create a charity, donate yourself, or dont do anything, and i dont want to single anyone out, but i dont want to put anyone at risk either which is why i feel this way

  • @gomets3277 You feel that I pose a risk to the military. You don't even know me, yet you lecture me about safety as though i couldn't care less about the safety of others. Almost everything you write is an affront to me by implication, and to all gay men by assertion.

All I can say is this conversation should now end. You go away and dream of gay men wasting away in office towers, and I will continue to speak to people with more reasonable and attainable objectives.

  • @gomets3277 They don't knowingly let 'careless' people into the military of any sexual orientation. They don't let HIV people of any orientation into the military. The military are perfectly capable of sorting this out, and I can only express relief that the taxpayer is not going to be burdened with your preposterous idea of retraining all valuable frontline gay soliders in the gentle art of office work. Enforcing DADT already cost $52,800 per troop.

  • @gomets3277 Enforcing DADT already cost $52,800 per troop. totalling $193 million just to kick tens of thousands of gays out of the military. With the repeal of DADT, this scandalous waste of money will now cease. The last thing on the minds of the military masters will be training all these men in paperwork.

  • @mensskintightlowrise disrespected, however, i want to protect the people who could get hurt from this

  • @mensskintightlowrise office jobs in the military or work with charities to help the country, but i dont see why they need to be involved when they pose a risk, even if it is only 1%, a number which i have no idea where it came from

  • @mensskintightlowrise why have a 1% increase when homosexuals could help in a different way not endangering others, plus we may have to test more often which means more tax dollars at work for an avoidable cause

  • @gomets3277 My position was not that there will be a 1% increase, it was to say that if the HIV infection were omnipresent, that would be the worst outcome. You are accusing the military of deliberately ignoring the safety of its members, and you are implying all gay men are HIV+

If the risk were as severe you are suggesting, then I am sure this would be on the front page, and President Obama would never have okayed the repeal of DADT. It's not as though HIV is unheard of.

  • @mensskintightlowrise can you please tell me how im implying all to be HIV+ when ive repeatedly said that thats not what im saying, that im just saying that they pose a higher risk which is true, and even if it only happens in 1 instense it is still sever because it couldve been avoided

  • @gomets3277 I have stated that the 2nd highest risk is black heterosexual men. You have not stated that they should be given paper pushing jobs, nor have you acknowledged my point that lesbians are lower risk than straight women, so with your logic based entirely on comparative risk factors, then straight women should be paper pushers too. Only lesbians should serve according to your logic, because they present zero HIV risk.

  • @gomets3277 I am not HIV+ and never will be. HIV prevention is easily achieved through established safety measures. Apart from the fact that I am now too old, there is no reason to prevent me or anyone else avowedly HIV- from serving if I choose to. Not all HIV is transmitted through sexual intercourse.

  • @mensskintightlowrise in your particular case no, however the government or the armed forces shouldnt have to go through every single case and waste time and money trying to see if the person is trustworthy or a potential risk, especially when they can hold an office job, help just as much doing that, and not endanger 1 person

  • @gomets3277 How about comparing the risk of dying from HIV with the risk of being blown up in Afghanistan by a roadside bomb. Please cite statistics that prove you are right on HIV infection rates in the miltary, and the military are wrong.

  • @mensskintightlowrise you realize that this is war right? so people are inevitably going to die? so there is no point in relating HIV deaths to IED victims, and im not trying to eliminate the risk because that would be impossible, im merely trying to reduce the risk

  • @gomets3277 Maybe this post you will read what I write. You can reduce the risk by eliminating all straight people and gay men entirely, and allowing only lesbians to serve.

In war at the front line, everyone is at risk. The last thing they have on their minds is HIV. If someone were to contract it however, they would be removed from the front line. This is so improbable as to be irrelevant.

  • @mensskintightlowrise maybe this post you will read what i write, youre right, the last thing on their mind is HIV, which is why when someone is saving an injured man, and someone with the same blood type helps, we need to be as sure as possible without making our military suffer strength wise, notice that little part there, that means we cant just allow lesbians to join, we need the others, and can you please tell me what makes an office job worse? it still helps the country and youll be servin

  • @gomets3277 Your argument all along has been that homosexual men should be eliminated from active service because they pose a higher risk of HIV infection. Being greater risk does not mean they actually have HIV. The military screens *everyone* for HIV, so upon admission zero soliders are HIV+. The second highest risk group is straight black men but you are fine with them serving regardless of their higer risk. That can only be explained as homophobia. How about you read what I write?

  • @mensskintightlowrise youre a dumbass, if more and more gays joined the military then that number would rise for them, plus i have no idea where youre getting these numbers, and you said before that they screen before you join and once per year, that leaves a whole lot of open space to contract it and not know

  • @gomets3277 ok using your logic then black straight men should also be eliminated even if they are HIV negative upon admission, because they are the second highest risk for HIV statistically.

If more and more gay men join the military, they will all be HIV negative upon admission as that is military policy. If they contract it during service, then they will be removed, as is also military policy. This applies also to straight people who sadly become HIV positive.

  • @mensskintightlowrise i will say this again, you will not tell where youre getting these numbers, if they contract it during service then they wont know until that once a year test that you stated, this leaves a lot of time for it to spread, and a lot of money if you want to test more often, and you still havnt said why an office job is so bad, its just as needed, and you can still serve and protect your country

  • @gomets3277 People who join the miliitary are not interested in sitting behind a desk pushing pieces of paper around. They want action, and they want to defend their country. I don't disrespect office workers by the way, but who in their right mind would join the military for that? There are tens of thousands of gay men in the military who are not and never will be HIV positive, and you want to reassign, and expensively retrain all these men who never did anything wrong.

  • @DerekWilliamsMusic help through charities, or even working in an office in the military, however, for everyones safety i feel that they shouldnt be allowed, not from homophobia, but to keep everyone safe

  • @gomets3277 You allege that the repeal of DADT was enacted with no regard for the safety of personnel. Please provide evidential proof of this. You appear to believe that most gay people are HIV positive. This is knows as a false syllogism. An analogy would be as follows:

    • all Sailors sail on the sea

    • all Ships' Captains sail on the sea

    • therefore all Sailors are Ships' Captains.

Your logic is based on the same inversion. If most HIV sufferers were gay, it wouldn't mean most gays are HIV+

  • @mensskintightlowrise it is common knowledge that a homosexual is more at risk for HIV then a heterosexual, i wasnt saying that all gays are HIV positive at all, stop trying to twist my words and go back and read it again, i was saying that they are more at risk which is the truth

  • @idricool Are you putting up your personally abusive post as evidence you know all about the military? How about your commanders? You know more than them? Not only are they comfortable with the repeal of DADT so are more than 70 per cent of your fellow soldiers. You're clearly uncomfortable with the repeal of DADT, but practically every other NATO country repealed their version of it a decade or more ago. No problems have been reported and many say morale actually improved after implementation.

  • @idricool Where's your evidence of harm? DADT was repealed as a result of overwhelming support at three levels:

    1. 70% of the public that favoured letting gays serve openly in the armed services.

    2. An exhaustive Pentagon survey of more than 115,000 military personnel found 70% believe that serving with openly gay servicemembers would not harm their unit's ability to work together

    3. Supported by Congress, passed by the Senate and accepted by military chiefs.

Clearly you are in a minority.

  • @idricool said, "Typical faggot who doesn't know shit about the military"

Oh yeah Bitch, would you be surprised if I told you there are faggots that actually do know more shit about the military than you and your Trolls put together.

  • @idricool Yeah, cause us soldiers never ever talk to each other about the last piece of pussy we got. Get real; don't ask don't tell was merely a feel good statute put into place, in order to appease ignorant religious ideologues. In no way will the repeal of DADT effect unit cohesiveness or morale. An individual shouldn't have to keep their mouth shut about their personal ideology, beliefs, or inclinations under threat of federal punishment; have you read the 1st Amendment in its entirety?

  • @DerekWilliamsMusic most "homophobes" who want "u gays" dead are most likely about bizness AK47 shit. completing objections.and dont want to be around alot of gay shit...............gay shit meaning, typical shit that gays find humorous.........this includes gay jokes, touching of the opposite sex...ect and i personally have nothing against gays however i do not like the fact that gays feel offended whenever a straight person demands or ask for respect. it shouldnt be a problem.

  • @r82006me While that may well be true, the opposite should also apply, so I think it's a case of 'mutual respect'. However I doubt very much whether 'flamer' gays would ever choose the military as a career to be honest, and I've seen no evidence of it among the testimonies of the 14,000+ discharged under DADT. The great majority of gays you can't pick unless they tell you, hence DADT in the first place. It only becomes obvious once the straight boys chat about their girlfriends and gays don't.

  • @DerekWilliamsMusic that sums it up ..............the real protest should be for mutual respect. the DADT can go in the recycle bin...

  • @r82006me You're an idiot, you think just because someone is gay that they're sexually active or "perverted".

  • @AgrivatedKillah ............... it was about mutual respect ...... wy would u call me and idiot?? um lets see... i have tourettes.....YOU DUMB BITCH/FUCK U/BITCH ASS PIECE OF SHIT! DAMN U STUPID!!FUCKN BITCH/LARD ASS/RETARDED FUCK/GO TO HELL BITCH!!!!VIOLATE THAT BITCH!! IM BILL BELLAMY U BITCH!!! • Chrolli love story

You Tube clip with the title:

Christian & Oliver 04.04.08 English Subtitles Part 45

  • This is the very definition of ignorance. Fucking people these days.

  • i think these men and women coming out and speaking about this issue is inspiring. whose who are ignorant and leave offensive comments are the reason why we have so many inequalities in our culture today!

  • FAGS

  • *Bursts in to laughter* Don't ask don't tell?!? This is real? let's cower in fear from the mighty US army, they'll kick you're ass! Wow, I know how to beat the Americans in a war, just throw gay people at them. I'm sure someone will risk their life so they can see a penis. I know they say everything you need to know you learn in kindergarten, but You Americans crack me up. Not letting gay patriots who love their country serve cause their gay? You people are dumb, I'm sorry.

  • Part 1

The troops are the ones that are going to have to deal with this. Small unit cohesion is mainlyE-6 and below. We are where the adapting will have to happen. We are the ones that are going to have to make this work. Its never been about religion, its about room and board. Most people dont understand that there are still parts of the military that have public showers. There are no shower curtains, and some times as many as 20 shower heads.

  • Part 2

There are rooms that have 3 beds and no walls to separate, there is very little privacy. Can we let males and female shower together, or live together as roomates? Not many people would not feel comfortable with it. Everybody thinks that the military are a bunch of angels. Well they are wrong, we call it the 10%. Thats what we are conserned about. So should we let them serv? sure, but does the military have to capability to?

  • Part 3

I know that personally i have no problem working with a person that is openly homosexual, but i would never feel comfortable living with one. So what is the solution? Every body gets their own room? That will come at a very high price out of YOUR tax money. There is not enough room on any base to accomodate this. And what about boot camp? I had 100 men in my squad bay. I lived with them, ate with them, showered with them, our bathroom stalls didnt even have doors. so there is my opinion.

  • man i was in the marines 1999 -2003. Man that shit is a choice. you are born black white, brown female, male. thats not a choice. who you choose to lay with is. Boot camp will be crazy at Parris Island. They wont be able to train the recruits well. will be too much of a distraction if someone serve openly. hell we was distracted when we saw the female recruits marching by. The drill instructors are going to have a field day with those guys. lmao

  • i wish i could have went through boot camp with the females.

  • The social science methodology used in the administrations study of gays in the military is a joke. Did you know that The Pentagon acknowledges that 54 percent of the survey respondents were Coast Guard members. There is no legitimacy with this! It's a joke! I'd say "repeal" the new law, and to vote out of office all supporting the controversial measure.

  • In a group shower, an openly gay man keeps his eyes pointed straight at the wall so that no one will think he's looking at them. A closeted gay man just might feel free to check out the other guys since they are oblivious to his sexuality. There have always been gay men in military showers. Not knowing that they are gay doesn't make anyone safer from getting checked out; it makes them less safe.

  • Why do gay people say what they do in their bedrooms is nobody's business yet they feel the need to express what they do in their bedrooms when they enter the military?

  • @MahlonWilliams

It's a common misconception – or should I say misrepresentation? – that gays want to reveal details about their sex lives. They merely don't want to lie about themselves anymore. Heterosexuals take it for granted to stand by their girl friend. That's not the same as flaunting their sexuality. Why should it be any different for gays?

  • @BjoernarEricSven Because homosexuality is deviant and abnormal. Anyway, Who ever said a homosexual person cant stand by their boyfriend/girlfriend? It's brilliant how homosexuals have used sneaky marketing tactics to sell their lifestyle to America and we bought it.

  • @MahlonWilliams

DADT explicitly stated that gay soldiers were NOT allowed to stand by their partner. Otherwise they would have been expelled. On the other hand, no nosy soldier has been punished for violating the "Don't Ask"-part.

The longstanding consensus of the behavioral and social sciences and the health and mental health professions is that homosexuality is a normal and positive variation in human sexual orientation. So much for your layman's assessment.

  • @BjoernarEricSven The Military is no place for open gayness; I know you cant stand by your partner in the military under DADT. I meant in general. Gays say they want equal rights when they do have all the rights that I do. I cant marry the same sex in certain places, neither can they. Only difference is they want to. I can't build bombs in my basement, neither can the terrorist. Should we change laws for terrorist rights too?

Also I know of many current scholarly resources that say its abnormal.

  • @MahlonWilliams

First comparing homosexuality to cleptomania and now to terrorism? Not only outright ridiculous, it's hysterical.

Your point is moot. Gays are forbidden to marry THE PERSON THEY LOVE, heterosexuals aren't. That's not equality.

Scientific consensus does not support your point of view. Your so-called "scholarly sources" are often linked to conservative religious political movements that have supported the stigmatization of homosexuality on political or religious grounds.

  • @BjoernarEricSven I was just trying to make a point. Of course they're not the same caliber or category. Like I said before, pedophiles and homosexuals are like the same thing; A sexual deviation. Next thing they will start rallying for their rights based on your reasoning. Its all wrong.

  • @MahlonWilliams

Pedophilia is considered a serious disorder and ruled a crime, whereas scientific consensus considers homosexuality normal. That's a huge difference.

Of course, there will always be those who prefer religion or private moral views over knowledge.

  • @BjoernarEricSven You contrast homosexuality with pedophilia, but you uneven the two out by associating one with a disorder. You forget that homosexuality was (is?) considered a disorder and a crime as well. The only difference is that one has been packaged and sold to you with brilliant (and deceptive) marketing techniques. Religion vs Knowledge... I don't think its too much to ask for both. Lets exchange sources. I want to see your scientific opinions*.

  • @MahlonWilliams

One is based on consensual sex, the other on exploitation. This difference is self-evident and has nothing to do with "brilliant (and deceptive) marketing techniques".

The removal of homosexuality as a diagnosis happened in accordance to scientific evidence, recognizing former pathologizations reflected untested assumptions based on once-prevalent social norms and clinical impressions from unrepresentative samples ("Gay Is Okay With APA").

  • @MahlonWilliams

You also might want to google the "Resolution on Appropriate Affirmative Responses to Sexual Orientation Distress and Change Efforts".

  • @MahlonWilliams I certainly don't see anything normal about heterosexuality......look at all the violence heterosexual males are responsible for.

  • @billyboylb I shouldn't even dignify this comment with a response but lest it look like you stumped me, I will. You assume that the state of peace is normal for man. Homosexual or straight, conflict is the normal state of man.

  • @MahlonWilliams Sorry. I'm glad DADT was repealed. All law-abiding tax paying American citizens should be treated equally and with respect. I'm certainly not impressed with so-called "Christian" heterosexuality.

  • @billyboylb Who said anything about Christian?? Stay on track. What you should be saying is: All law-abiding tax paying American citizens should be asked if they want DADT repealed. Think about it. If you opposed the repeal of DADT what could you do about it? Vote? They didn't ask anyone what they wanted as far as DADT, they just did it. As it stand the majority of the military, who this directly affects, is in opposition of the repeal. Obama didn't even ask THEM!

  • @MahlonWilliams Where the fuck have you been? The pentagon did a study. Two-thirds of the military were fine with gays serving openly. You're just an anit-gay bigot who lost. Get over it!

  • @billyboylb I see that you're more tolerant of homosexuals than blacks, huh hillbilly boy? God help the black gays Lmao! Yeah thats true, but more than 60% were considering leaving the military earlier than planned because of it. Damn, I'm good....

So next I imagine that pedophiles are going to get their rights? Homosexuality and pedophilia are pretty much the same thing; an abnormal sexual deviation. Don't worry! Tolerance is on the way!

  • @MahlonWilliams I don't fuck children. So clearly blacks learned nothing about oppression from their civil rights struggle. How sad. By the way, let me translate the verb "to be." I am. You are. He/she/it is. We are. You are. They are. Not.....I be. You be. He be. We be. You be. They be. Nothing like tolerance, eh?

  • @billyboylb I don't care about that stuff. "I be" bi-racial lmao! While you were trying to piss me off to avoid debating with a superior intellect, I noticed that you didn't address the point of the 60+% of the military considering ending their service early.

I'll consider this your white flag. One mo' for the badguy! =)

  • @MahlonWilliams You still lost!!!! LMAO!!!!

  • @MahlonWilliams

You keep comparing homosexuality to pedophilia. The former is based on consensual sex, the latter is not (and therefore a crime). That's hardly the same.

Please provide a quote for your assertion that 60% considered leaving the military. "Oddly", I can't find any.

  • @BjoernarEricSven I got my facts mixed up. I have them straight now with a link but youtube wont let me post it here. Got an email?
