I love when roger puts his arm around nick mason and starts swaying....thats great....I know rick wright is gone..but these three need to get back together man...
Wow. An awful lot of complete garbage going around about Pink Floyd. The war is over. Gilmour and Waters have sat down at the truce table. I'm just happy that Richard Wright lived to join with them and Nick one last time. David and Roger wasted 20 years on a nasty feud. What kind of loser wants to continue that crap, when they have been wise enough to end it?
@ratsalad420 Take him, please. Keep him too. Never send him back. Tell him to stop getting his lyrics written by the girl in his bed. They suck as bad as she does. We will replace him with a potted plant that will actually do something; create oxygen instead of merely sucking it up like Dave does.
@memyselfandi337 Roger Waters took over Pink Floyd after "Animals". He badgered the other members into recording and performing "The Wall" which was HIS project and largely autobiographical. He fired both Richard Wright and Nick Mason during this time, realized he should just be a solo and quit the band after "The Final Cut". The other members, reunited under the name Pink Floyd, recorded and toured. Waters sued saying it couldn't be Floyd without him. Gilmour counter-sued and won.
wow, its just amazing to see them together again, i wish they could make a last tour as PF. And big thx to Sir Bob Geldof that made them able to talk to eachother again.... i love Pink Floyd
I'm sure this has been said time and time again, but Outside The Wall would be such a satisfying song to die to. I may only think that though because I could not stop thinking of Rick and Syd through out the performance. Such a magical performance, all while being incredibly bittersweet. Long Live Pink Floyd.
I remember seeing Floyd back during the animals tour in 1977. You could tell back then Roger wasn't a happy camper during the proformance. It was a great show then, but I think as time has gone by and with the deaths of Richard and Syd he looks at his mates a with true affection today. Davis seemed geniunly pleased as did Nick. It is great that they have reconciled.
sailorpsycho.
Well it's good that Roger admits that he was hard on his bandmates during the Wall and the Final Cut (and indeed afterward). I'm glad he's no longer a grumpy person.

I love how Roger is so much more genuine towards his brothers in Floyd than he used to be. Richard Wright is smiling down from heaven and proud of his mates. :-)
@351974gordon24 Roger was geniune back in to 70s and 80s. He didn't appreciate having to carry the other three, whist listening to their incessant whining that Roger's music wasn't the direction they wanted to go, as they shoved the cash into their pockets that was earned from the genius of Waters. I am sure that his anger was geniune. Waters has simply moved past the anger, rather than suffer it.
@Pexster Yes. Carry Gilmour. You CAN read! I am amazed, Butthead. Usually, from folks who do "dude" coversations... one cannot expect literacy. You were where? Up Dave's ass? Son, I have been to every Floyd tour from DSOTM until the band ceased to exist, when Roger left. Furthermore, I don't do drugs. I don't need them to function, or to color music to make it sound better. Listening to Gilmour, I can see why you need to. Dave is a rat bastard, who only made it because of Waters' genius
@MongoTheLloyd You are Brad Cole the troll who trolled Pink Floyd forums. Roger got boring and bland as he got older in addition to greedy, crazy, egomaniacal. I can also say that Neil Peart (pronounced PEER-t with long E) wrote more meaningful lyrics since 1980 than Roger. Amused to Death and Radio KAOS (all crap in my view) pales compared to "Red Sector A", "Manhattan Project", "The Pass", "Ghost Rider" among other great tracks.
@tjrrockandrollmaster No. I am not. But, I won't bother trying to convince an idiot of reality. That would be a waste of my precious time. Yeah? neil Queert, huh? With a long E, you say? Man, you need help. Seriously. Move out of mommy's basement. Sel; your X-box. Use the proceeds to buy a used life off ebay. You might find a deal!
@MongoTheLloyd My mother DIED you heartless jerk and I take care of my father you obnoxious punk. You are Brad King that troll who spammed Pink Floyd forums with your "man-love" for Roger Waters and hatred for other bands. You trolled the Floyd videos with your useless rhetoric. In my humble opinion, I think Neil Peart became a better lyricist than Roger with age. Roger has been fixated with same old I hate war, my father died and so forth since The Final Cut.
@MongoTheLloyd Roger Waters is a genius indeed, but David Gilmour too. If you were a fan from Pink Floyd, you would know that many of the great songs of the great albuns of Pink Floyd like The Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here were composed by him.
@shikamaruxb3 Waters IS a genius. Gilmour is not. I am a Waters fan... since he wrote the VAST MAJORITY of Pink Floyd's material in the last 5 albums. Hard to call myself a PF fan, when the other 3 didn't contribute much, as they readily admit in the "Which One's Pink" documentary. I know which songs Dave CONTRIBUTED to, since he only wrote 3 songs himself. Waters = 37 solo credits and 21 co-credits. Dave = 3 solo credits, 24 co-credits. Dave's only genius was NOT WORKING MUCH.
@MongoTheLloyd I can't deny that Waters wrote almost the entire albuns of Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Wall and The Final Cut. But Dark Side of the Moon, Obscured by Clouds, Meddle and Atom Heart Mother were wrote by them all. Besides, David wrote a Momentary Lapse of Reason and The Division Bell by himself pratically. And one of the most aprecciated songs of Pink Floyd, Echoes, was writen by him.
@Smodog124 All four received credit for writing it. But, the idea came from Syd. The Gilmour-is-God crowd learned from their master, to take credit where credit is not due. Like father, like idiot bastard children.
@shikamaruxb3 Waters wrote most of DSOTM too. OBC, ASHM were complete tripe. Meddle, yes, some of the 3 boat anchors deserve a little credit for it. The post-Waters albums were not PFloyd. They were Pink Fraud. A mockery of the group itself, and its remaining audience. No, Gilmour had help... his GIRLFRIEND who wrote many of the lyrics. No... Echoes was Syd's idea; it isn't one of the most appreciated songs, being largely forgotten except by die-hard Gilmour penis worshippers.
@Pexster Uh... and Butthead... since you do seem to need so much correction... it would be "one stupid fucking idiot", not "one fucking stupid idiot". Ah... but you can't expect that Gilmour fans would be good with the English language. Even Dave had to have his girlfriend write the Pink Fraud lyrics after the talent left the band. Words hardly matter when there is that one "Comfortably Numb" solo you can play over and over, ad nauseum.
@MongoTheLloyd Brad Cole, the best years of Pink Floyd was when Roger's ego was in check by David Gilmour and Rick Wright. Roger became a greedy, crazy, egomanical prick starting with Animals (which Roger rejected anything Rick wrote). David's girlfriend/wife was proofreader on The Division Bell lyrics. He gave her a credit as it said Lyrics : Gilmour/Samson (which means Gilmour AND Samson). Because someone wrote something, there's more to it than that.
@tjrrockandrollmaster Brad Cole? Who is brad Cole? Look son, MANY folks share my opinion that Gilmour and the other two boat anchors did little. In fact, Gilmour, Wright and Mason all admit as much on "Which One's Pink". So, they agree with me that they did little; the actual ALBUM CREDITS buttress my argument; Waters agreed that he pretty much did most of the work. Why can't YOU just accept fact, son... instead of farting out "You are Brad Cole" false accusations?
@MongoTheLloyd Mongo you are Brad King. I'm not stupid so don't lie about it. You hate Phil Collins, you hate Neil Peart. Animals was the start of the "Roger Waters Power Trip" where he reduced David Gilmour and Rick Wright's contributions and they went and did solo albums. The only reason why The Wall turned out the way it did was because Gilmour and Bob Ezrin kept Roger's megalomania in check which it then spun out of control with The Final Cut. By the way it's David NOT Dave you sick ogre.
roger has learned from the past the hard way, and has shown that
but david has actually become really egotistical and refuses to work with roger, although i do see that they're polar opposites on the stage, and they've both said that
nick mason is awesome, and one of the best drummers ever, and kept to himself
R.I.P. wright and barrett
i'm so stoked to see roger at the memorial coliseum in L.A. next year woooooo!
@citr1992 come on.... thats over....a band has a moment...what you must remember is what they produced! not if they will play together like if it was the 1st year of Pink Floyd.....
Roger is a riffraff, tried to destroy pink floyd, treated David, Nick and Rick like nothing, and now treat them like friends?what does he want to show?repant?he is a cool guy?no way,we can see clearly in david and Mason faces that they r not happy, but they r making a great effort being there,Roger is a fucking stupid, and that ``THE NICE GUY SHOW``was shameful, thats all.sorry my bad english
You ever watch these videos and feel like you missed out on seeing one of the greatest bands ever live? Such an experience for those who see the three of them now, but still... to have seen them back in the day...
@guinness75 I know exactly what you mean. It pains me that I was born in 1990. An older friend of mine always talks about seeing them at the World Series of Rock in 1977. I have a bootleg, but to have been there would have been unbelievable.
Snowy White played with Pink Floyd opening The Wall in 1980 with 'In The Flesh?' and he played with Pink Floyd ending The Wall in 2011 with 'Outside The Wall'
i'm on the brink of tears as i see them all on one stage without rick...R.I.P. you will always be the greatest pianists in rock n roll. to you i wave my lighter, and raise my glass to. wish you were here.

Pink Floyd...ever ever ever Pink Floyd....

@jjairojj
roger has learned from the past the hard way, and has shown that
but david has actually become really egotistical and refuses to work with roger, although i do see that they're polar opposites on the stage, and they've both said that
nick mason is awesome, and one of the best drummers ever, and kept to himself
R.I.P. wright and barrett
i'm so stoked to see roger at the memorial coliseum in L.A. next year woooooo!
citr1992 2 months ago 3
@citr1992 come on.... thats over....a band has a moment...what you must remember is what they produced! not if they will play together like if it was the 1st year of Pink Floyd.....
bratzo87 2 months ago
Roger is a riffraff, tried to destroy pink floyd, treated David, Nick and Rick like nothing, and now treat them like friends?what does he want to show?repant?he is a cool guy?no way,we can see clearly in david and Mason faces that they r not happy, but they r making a great effort being there,Roger is a fucking stupid, and that ``THE NICE GUY SHOW``was shameful, thats all.sorry my bad english

Respect!

You ever watch these videos and feel like you missed out on seeing one of the greatest bands ever live? Such an experience for those who see the three of them now, but still... to have seen them back in the day...
guinness75 2 months ago 2
@guinness75 I know exactly what you mean. It pains me that I was born in 1990. An older friend of mine always talks about seeing them at the World Series of Rock in 1977. I have a bootleg, but to have been there would have been unbelievable.
