@redvitoxxx, that sound came out from the M7 AGS intake. But M7 discontinued this part because one part of system failed often. Last november (2009), an another tuning shop bought patterns from M7 and still trying to fix it and put it again the market with a new version.

Screamin Banshee!!! I miss the AGS, I had the plastic kind (2.0) and had it coated with thermal ceramic coating also cut out the shroud to allow direct air into intake. It was a screamer, neighbor called it "La Llorona" spanish for Whiner, Screamer, as in the "Crying Lady" story. LOL

On the video they are using the M7 Air Gain System. They don't make them anymore, you gotta find a used one, like on northamericanmotoring website. AGS connect directly to throttle body in front. It took me about 8 months to find one, during that time I had a DDM/M7 intake. If you can't wait an Alta or DDM/M7 w/o a Top will increase S/C sound

Also even used people will sell expensive, last one I seen a V.3 went for $300, And its is a PITA to install, suggest you go to a shop thats done it before. If you are in Cali that should be no prob several shops have done them.

Its Supercharged this video was a Promo for a Part Made by M7 Tuning that replaced a pipe that feeds the air to the supercharger.. this part has been Discontinued for over 6 months

the part was 800 but now you can find them for about 100 shipped.. now 07-09 Mini Cooper S's come Turbo .. but any year before that is supercharged.. NOW installing the part is a pain as the whole front end has to come apart and most of the motor has to come apart too..

no this is a video for a product m7 used to produce its discontinued.. it was a pipe that would replace the pipe that sucks air for the supercharger.. which in the end sucks up more air.. it is a pain in the ass to get to basiclt the motor has to be pulled to install it..

well all mustang cobras lightning trucks mini cooper s have this whine.. its called a supercharger. this video is for a mod made by M7Tuning called the AGS air gain system *no longer available* it is a pipe that feeds more air to the supercharger making it louder

this video was for the M7 Air Gain System. it was a pipe that replaces the stock pipe that get the air to the supercharger. and it was twice the size of the stock one. which in itself gained a lot of horse power because that same pipe goes to the intake box. it was a expsensive part which is why nobody bought it and it was discontinued. My personal mini is supercharged and a lot of people dont know what the hell the whine is.

It's called a Supercharger and they whine like that... some people just don't appreciate performance unless it's a turbo with a big stupid blow-off valve...
