UHG!!! USA's leo's were so ugly at these worlds!!  Team final leos looked like they had candy canes for arms, very "Christmas Special" looking... Team Qualifications they looked like christmas wrapper with those glittery circles across their bellys.... All Around Final - Pink and Black?!!? It looked like a costume from a bad 1980's punk movie!!! Just Gross. AND that plum colored leo with some kinda glitter sword down the front!!!! WTF was that!!!!!

@colourfullife Well, Cheng's obviously not doing Amanars at this moment in time. And Cheng never opened up quite like McKayla. She often was still twisting when she landed which likely weakened her knees resulting in her ACL tear. Anyone will tell you McKayla's Amanar is the best Amanar being done by a female gymnast.

VT: raisman, wieber, maroney

UB: vega, wieber, douglas

BB: raisman, vega, wieber (vega has a nicer looking beam with more artistry, compared to raisman's UGLY beam set)

FX: vega, maroney, wieber (again, vega has a gorgeous set with a fairly high difficulty level, and 100000 times more artistry that raisman. usa didn't need raisman's floor, they could have won with vega's instead)

@96horseluvr That's ridiculous. You should always put up your highest potential because you never know how the opposition will compete on any given day. Especially at world championships. Raisman is the most reliable gymnast and earned her spot in those lineups fair and square.

There are two reasons why I don't like the Chinese bars. One, those deadhangs. They hurt me ! And second, the turns. Yes, the full turns are beautiful but when they do half one way and half the other? It always looks to me like their improvising and have forgotten. It doesn't look as elegant as I know the Chinese are.

there are some MAJOR problems with judging these days. massive deductions are being taken for deductions that don't exist. jordyn takes a tiny step on her vault and poof! 7 tenths are taken off. what??? mckayla sticks her vault and poof! 5 tenths are taken off. WHERE ARE THESE DUMB JUDGES FINDING THESE NON EXISTENT DEDUCTIONS???

All the American commentators talk about is how amazing the USA is whilst focusing on the negative aspects of every other teams performance. There's nothing wrong with being patriotic, but they owe it to the gymnasts competing from all countries to have some sort of positive outlook on their performances, instead of dwelling on the negative aspects and the deductions.

all these stupid american commentators talk about is how many points every one else has been deducted and how costly it is and how amazing team usa is like they get no deductions at all. They never appreciate any other gymnast from another country fully. Hate american commentary. The BBC over here is so much better, more about the gymnastics than some stupid patriotic campaign.

most commentators even if only slightly or not intentionally, favor their home team and you can't say nbc never do it, odds are they have.

My only thing is that we won without the Russians and the Romanians at there very best, thats my one big reservation and really keeping me from being excited about our win. I would have liked to see the girls win when the other top two teams are healthy and are at the top of there game.

@bernardmvella Because Mustafina is Mustafina. She's at a level above Victoria in terms of mental toughness and consistency. Victoria's amazing, but is only one gymnast. With Mustafina, Komova, and possibly Grishina making their way on to the Olympic team, Russia will have a much greater chance for gold.
