People are complaining that Seohyun is in the middle. 0:36- 0:44 is one of her solos in Hoot. She leads before they perform the chorus. And does it really matter who is in the front or who is in the back? It doesn't affect the song or the dance. SM positioned them there for a reason. Who cares if one member gets more screen time? They are still SNSD. I love all 9 members. Taeyeon, Sunny, Jessica, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Sooyoung, Yuri, YoonA and Seohyun. They are all talented.

I feel like it says a lot of Snsd that their maknae is always in front in the choreography and has a more vocal parts than the older girls who are supposed to "lead" those areas. Seohyun is in front more than Hyoyeon who is not only older, but also their "lead" dancer. If they're not better than their maknae, why are they there? Except for Seohyun, Jessica, Taeyeon and Tiffany, most of them only have one or two lines.

SeoHyun is one of the lead singers (I think the #4), she dances when they need 5 dancers and when YoonA is a little overrated Seobaby is in the center.

All groups, except SNSD, put the lead dancer in front when they are dancing a lot or singing the chorus: YunHo, TaeMin (a lot), EunHyuk, HyunA, Victoria... But HyoYeon is only in the center in a few songs with break dances. Altough YoonA and SeoHyun are super overrated.

@kimerufan123 Okay so it appears you don't kno much about SNSD as far as the dancing and singing aspect goes...Your age doesn't determine how much u sing or how much u dance. It's completely fine if she sings more than Hyoyeon or dances more than Jessica. The Main/lead singers of SNSD are Seohyun, Sunny, Jessica, Tiffany and Taeyeon. Notice how Seohyun is one of them, so she will be singing more than the Main Dancers: Hyoyeon/ Yuri and Lead Dancers: Yoona/Sooyoung.

@kimerufan123 and although Hyoyeon is th Main Dancer of the group, it doesn't neccessarily mean that she has to be in the front. And if you notice, Seohyun isn't always in the front. It's actually Yoona, the lead dancer and center girl of SNSD. Hyoyeon is the Top Main Dancer of the group and she shows it by having her own dance breaks within songs, but as far as choreography goes for a song..whenever they dance, the person in the front is usually the the person who's singing those lines.

and in the dances the maknaes are always in the front

because they have the best bodies and they are the longest and more skinnier

@kimerufan123 ikr, i personally think that if the other members leave and never existed, then it would make no difference to the group, but expect maybe in some general area, for yoona gave the group some more exposure and hyoyeon choreographed some dances, but other then that not much will be different.

@kimerufan123 Everyone has a role in the group Yoona is the face of the group Taeyeon Seohyun Jessica Tiffany and Sunny are the lead/main vocals thats how they get their spotlight Hyo Yuri and Sooyoung are the dancers they have thier own performances and thats how they get thier show time. Also those members are the ones that are usually more popular on shows. SO basically each member is getting thier share

@kimerufan123 I hear what you're saying, but although maknaes tend to have lowly positions in terms of respect in Korean culture, it doesn't mean that they have to be less talented. There can be older members who are less talented than the maknae, it happens; it doesn't mean the other members are useless. For example, in SHINee, I would consider Minho less talented than Taemin, even tho Minho's older or whatever. I agree that they should spotlight Hyoyeon more but Seohyun is just that good.
