  • The Marklin transformer controller is available to power the loco using a 9 volt standard battery... it can also be powered by plugging int a wall unit as we had nearby power from the hotel....all power wires were hidden from sight!

  • how did you get that powered at the beach

  • @ililil1231 was using a 9 volt battery powered controller... Z-tech brand... good for a good days worth of running.

  • Oh the z i engine got jammed when I got home so I sent it for a cleaning...

    NO GUTS ,NO GLORY!

  • I love the structure of those Castles, lots of cool arches and little stairways. And the train is great. Have you worked out how many miles that Loco has done in your service yet? Must be thousands of miles.

  • Actually I use many small engine locos and this is my most prized model train that I rarely drive and when I do Its for some crazy event,I actually own 2 Identical engines, the other is a backup. This is the first time I actually dared to run it on sand! the engine was stopped several times by a punk kid who kept putting sand on the track, I wish I could lock him in the dungeon and lay even more track but someone wrecked the castle and that my friend is a major delay.
