How to Steer and Paddle a Canoe : How to do a Draw Stroke in Canoeing

hey me and my brother and beat bud are planning on doing a 40 mile canoe trip to our grandmas.. we figured 14 hours of boat travel after looking atthe map.. so is it possible to paddle for 14 hours with 20-40 minute paddle sets with about 3-5 min breaks inbetween.. we know its gonna be hard but is it possible to paddle like that.. because we are getting a canoe and never paddled one before.. so we dont know what to expect
