NGE was the patch that destroyed the most technical, most realistic and best in my opinion MMORPG ever made. they changed the battle system and one of the most significant changes is u can be a jedi from the start. pre NGE it took about a year of work to earn Jedi status and when you were a jedi then you were way stronger than normal players. now their equaly as strong as non jedis.
NGE means new game enhancement. and Pre-NGE is before the new game enhancement. In Pre-NGE there was about 32 Classes, And in NGE they kinda grounded them down into 9 proffessions. In Pre-NGE you had to master every class to become a jedi, where in NGE you can become a jedi right away. And combat was much harder in Pre-NGE.
Has it ever dawned in your minuscule brain that wikipedia would have the NGE definition as apart of the SWG article? Y'know, seeing as it reduced its numbers from 600,000 to 170,000 in an instance?

im new to playing SWG and i hear alot about the Pre-CU...well iv seen videos, and i really dont know what the big deal is. iv never played pre-cu, so i wouldnt know, but i have played the NGE, and i like it a lot. now im not saying that if i tried the Pre-CU that i would still like the NGE better. if anyone would like to tell me some of the things that makes the Pre- CU and the NGE different, i would like u to tell me.
Honestly it depends on the type of gamer you are. Though you shouldn't really comment on pre-cu without having played it, because there 2 seperate games imo.

The NGE is the '' New Game Enachment '' It was launched November 2005 and it fucked the game over to be true . Many people quit , when SWG Started it had over 3million Subs... Now its estimated to be under 20 thousand :( I Love the game !

PreCU the population was over 300K+ (closer to 325K) but now as of Oct 2007 the population is well BELOW 50K, I really wish the devs would take advice to revert back to orig, what have they got to lose anyways?
This is poorly showing the changes, yes if you have a crappy pc then lag causes problems, but you edited this move so it replays the crappy lag problems you have.
It's not lag. If you fire a special at a target you cannot see then the special fires (does no damage) but there is no cooldown, so you can just keep doing it over and over again.
It's cool to see what it would be like if Dark Jedi had lightning that just went on continuously, etc :)
its not lag and its not editing...i've done this a million times before ...all you have to do is target somthing that can't be attacked while you are in combat.
:( so sad to see the once great world of SWG in this state i have rescently come back after leaving 1month into the CU. It is so sad. Why oh why did SWG have to die?! It makes me Cry. :(

Where no one can beat me? if there is one raid and all got the gear from it, then we all have the same gear.
If we all have the same gear its atleast 90% based on Skills. and the rest on gaming gear.
why dont blizzard just make realy hard bosses that drop something else than GEAR? would be more fun if its all a test of skills

No, My Computer runs SWG at 30 FPS.
This was a ingame issue not lag.
Only edit to the video is the the removal of the sound and added the Benny Hill Soundtrack.
