I just joined the Marines myself. As far as my reason goes, I've got one. It's not for peace, it's not for anyone but myself. Every soldier has his reason, and I feel that nobody should judge a man willing to put his life on the line, no matter what his reason for fighting is. Just remember, the reason you have the right to sit and disagree, is because of the men who make it possible.
if man has the ability to negotiate why is it so rarely used on the brink of war? surely there is another means of getting what we want. i respect all men and women who have ever died for what they believed no matter what side the fought for, but ithink war is uneccesesary.

War is not pointless, I am glad America went to war in World War 1 and 2. How about Desert Storm? some wars have a purpose, and some wars need to be fought.

@CoreyBird123 so your saying we shouldn't have done anything about the nazi that killed 11 million jews, and countless other ethnic groups, we should have sat and watched them kill INNOCENT people, even if America was not aware that they were exterminating people at first, we would have found out eventually either way.... I'm not saying all wars are just, but some need to be fought. good video though, you raise a good point.

It's not like we have not been doing it for hundreds and hundreds of years or something. People are greedy, land is something they are greedy for, and a big ass threat of force will stop them from taking YOUR land.
