@Cherrierune Sorry to say this but I completely disagree with you. It's doing the opposite. The clarineo has a dull downed down tone, conversely the jazz clarinet should be lively and have a sharp and crisp approach. And as the report said it is used to aid beginners, i doubt it will ever influence the professional approach to the clarinet. I don't see how a moulded piece of plastic can replace the aged African Blackwood found in Yamaha's and Buffett's
@TranesJazz i never meant that professionals will use it I just meant it sounded more flexible to play. okay I don't care. its just an opinion from a student not a professional.
its mroe of a jazzy tone...Its probably going ot create a new wave of clarinet jazz.
