  • Amazing

  • This lighs were used in tron

  • SO will there be some harry potter newspaper shit join on?

  • @Thebananular Thats what 'Super' and regular Amoled screens are; active matrix OLED's, which are used on tablets and cell phones now :D

  • I use to make these, till I took an arrow to the knee.

  • Noo little piece of led is die :(

  • Thank you

  • But will it blend?

  • From where I can get an OLED display?

  • @Bob220V Commercially, in the future. The first commercial OLED products that I know of will be cellphones that will be released into the market next year. 2012 will be an awesome year for electronic display. :)

  • Where can i order some of these panels?

  • so when a pixel dies in my tv i can just cut it in half

  • I cant imagine what people will do to their cars

  • Comment removed

  • EXCELENTE!....

  • Yay another way to get dead pixels -_-

  • cut the Blend shit!!!! it's been like 5 videos with that shitty comment

  • @SlashRfnR

people are retarded, cant make up with their own jokes than they use from others, just like the "damn nature you scary",they have taken it from family guy now they say it in every video about nature -.-

  • @SlashRfnR yeah so right, but.... will it REALLY blend?

  • @SlashRfnR Yeah that's true but will it blend?

  • Nice! Now we could give our TV it's own shape!

  • looooooooooool, dont know why but i keep laughing at the fact that one day, this would become an awesome prank....

  • madness, soooo freaking cool

  • really cool - but it won't help all the crappy TV programs be any better....

  • FINALLY!!!! i can watch 3D porn!!!

  • why do make a hole? that thing cost expensive :/ (is it?)

  • LAMO @ ORGANIC LIGHTING.

    WTF

  • @MickeyFKNMouse "WTF" is exactly why you said LMAO. Because you are a dummy.

  • bendable and poke-able porn.....imagine the possibilities

  • @aragon2235 lmao

  • u wasting oleds , send to me ateast

  • cuanto voltaje usa?

  • where to get this ?

  • so this is how they made the tron suits!

  • shit made in china

  • @arturik1982 ok ? what's your point ? you don't like things from china ? kill yourself

  • O-rganic

    L-ight

    E-mmiting

    D-iodes!

  • FINALLY! My tv will be hole proof. So many times in my life i had to buy a new tv because some asshole punctured holes in my tv screen

  • @SirGodFatherDon no more breaking the TV in the movies :D

  • @SirGodFatherDon

    You need new friends :P

  • @SirGodFatherDon If someone is putting holes in your TV screen, you need to kick some ass. Let them buy you a new tv. better yet don't let them in your house. Seriously.

  • @SirGodFatherDon lawl :))

  • @SirGodFatherDon ur right! thats why i hate plasma and LCD tvs. i dont care about all the douches saying: "go buy an hd tv." and then the douches puncture holes in my tv screen. fuck that! im sticking with my old 1990 fatass hole proof tv. if they release the OLED tv, then byebye fat tv and hello OLED.

  • @SirGodFatherDon It's more to see if it could be used per roll for example as wallpaper

  • @SirGodFatherDon now you can throw your wiimote at your tv and only the wiimote will break!!!

  • I'm gonna use one to turn my pacman hoodie into an atari system with 20+ games!!!

  • how much do oled screens cost per square inch?

  • i hate you for hole punching these

  • I see a home-made TRON suit in my future with this...

  • @ForTheWinaIIDay yeh me to XD

  • How come the spots he punched out aren't still lit on the table?

  • @crazybearbum OLED is powered by electricity, so no electricity supplied, no light.

  • @crazybearbum How are you that retarded? They're not connected to any type of power.

  • @000FoxSnake000 I thought they were powered by your mother's back hair

  • @000FoxSnake000 they are actually connected to power, only difference is that an oled can be powered from virtually anywhere on its surfaces, so powering it with the illution that its not is very easy to do, and in most cases, also more appealing... sorry for grammhar and shat, im tired... :(

  • Paper cuts are back!

  • ooo, THEY COULD PUT THAT IN GLASS AND MAKE AVATAR STUFF

  • Thats what I've been waiting for all my life.. to pierce my display!

  • The paper of the future.

  • hahaha this is awsome... u fall on the ground, the edge of ur screen is damaged, u get pair of scissors and cut off the edge so it wont bother you xD

  • Thumbs up if you replayed the last part over and over because 1. It's that cool and 2. Because terrible sound quality turns you on.

  • Where can you get those screens/mats or whatever they are

  • if you dont like it give it to me..i ll give you my address.no kidding

  • Alright, I was a little skeptical, but the whole thing with the holes and cutting the sheet down was pretty cool. I think you've just shown me what I want my new Christmas lights to be made of.

  • apparently your hemorrhaging money , so you can afford to tear up the things you have.

  • the flexible oled stuff is exactly like electro-luminescent tape or panels but less flexible, you can punch holes through it and still have more flexibility and i think its just as bright

  • so if you have wii dont be afraid just let it slep

  • the begin is awesome but the end is shit

  • Id love that all over my bedroom walls.. tis win

  • can you make a tv inside that thing..?xD

  • they could make robes from oled that solar-powered and if you go out it would show anyhing, and if you go inside its still charged and would work for couple of hours

  • We might just end up with tickets that shine when non-stamped - that way the checktaker could know wether you're hitchhiking or not, more easily.

  • FAKE ... these are CCFL backlights

  • good as new? not really its missing a bit at the bottom.

  • iD LIKE TO ORDER A FEW SHEETS , wHERE DID YOU GET IT? oR HOW CAN i MAKE IT? sUPPLIERS INFO PLEASE

  • wheree can i buy oleds?

  • Hey great!! but.... couldnt you just say holes can be made??

  • Dead or Stuck pixel? just cut it out!

  • is that gonna be cheap?

  • whts next? a flexible iphone.

  • And this is one of the reasons why LCD will be replaced and obsolete.

  • lol "Good as new" hahahahahaha

  • wow, so now i can hole punch my sony XEL-1 OLED TV?

  • A SOLUTION FOR THE WII CONTROLER PROBLEM!!!!

  • I would like some samples to evaluate. Does anyone know where to obtain some?

  • How about video like

    will OLED blend?

  • epic cutting, but what happen if you cut on the wire side. i'm sure full display damage is possible if you cut at any area of screen covering signal wire.

  • How many videos are you going to post that utterly stupid remark??

  • @ottolenderink yes it will :)

  • @ottolenderink

Will it Blend, That is the Question ;-)

  • @ottolenderink your gay and so is that show

  • @ottolenderink will it blend?? wat?

  • Yo! can you point me in the direction of purchasing a few of those flex OLEDs?

  • I d like to see what wd happen with OLED if it meets the annoying orange

  • OLED has no human rights?

  • You forgot: Getting punched in the nuts by OLED.

  • Thats for the TV's in the ghetto so when they have a drive by and there tv gets hit they still can watch it!

  • i want oled wallpaper

  • kill it with fire

  • @ doomayam

    Oh yes definenately ;D

  • WHY THOSE HOLES!!!!!!!!!!????

  • @Rad631 to screw them!!

  • @tantragna hahaha Yeh for sure :P

  • Shoot it with a gun

  • @paronfisk lol

  • increible alguien puede darme mas detalles, some can sayme more information

  • vendi i led cosi??????

  • Comment removed

  • They should make clothes for the military and the could be invisible!

  • @TwoKayTen Stealth suit :D

  • @TwoKayTen

That technology exists, but not based on oled.

  • @Pisztu I know, its a speacial cloth that has cameras on the backsides of them and it films whats behind them and shows it on the front.

  • @TwoKayTen

That's one of the three technologies existing for that purpose (to my knowledge). One uses fiber optics-like textile, having a negative refraction coefficient, letting out the captured light on the opposite side of the clothing, unfortunately still only working in microwave frequencies.

Uh, this became a bit off-topic:)

    Anyways, oled rules! :D

  • @Pisztu O.o

  • Indeed i am interested in testing oled with a hammer. Seriously.

  • price

  • OLED Condom?

  • @doomayam Genius!! I would buy them..

  • OLED condom?

"Luke, I am your father!" You interperet that however you want.

  • @doomayam now you talking

  • Delicious OLED panels being manhandled like cardboard scrap; I would give my soul to have one of those.

  • hey man! WTF?? when you cut that line and said "good as new" what a fake!!! i saw those leds to darken

  • Smart, using a full metal hole puncher to punch an electric device....

  • WOW!!!!

  • Remember I was here.Thai

  • what a waste

  • how awesome is that, you can freaking punch holes in your tv

  • can't you do that now?

  • a must have :)

  • Now if the LED TV's out there (greater than 12") were using these. What LED TV's are now, is just an LCD backlit by regular LED's in a massive array.

  • you dont know what is OLED? its different from LED...

  • Might want to read the comment again. :)

What they are passing off as "LED TV's" are regular LED's backlighting an LCD panel. Sony has a 12" LED TV which actually is an LED display, which does use the OLED technology. After all, why is the 12" as expensive, as the 55" LED TV's? Simply because, the bigger ones are not.

  • all LED tv's are lcd's with some leds lighting it...led is a little light, it replace the CFL that was used before. OLED tv dont need LED, they produced their own light. they use organic material... OLED dont use led at all.

  • I butchered that. The Sony 11" (not 12) I did mean to say OLED. Oops. :)

  • @mat967 Not 100% true, The OLED does used LED technology, but its in a chemical form, Its a very heavily compact liquid Chemical that harbors alot of Carbon. The LED techonology is encorporated within the Chemical itself thus reradicating the need for backlights.

  • It's not an OLED, this displays are called PLEDs (Polymer LED).

  • LOL, when OLEDS come in mass-production, that doesn't automatically mean, you're going to be able to buy some futuristic poster-like Screen.

even if the screeen itself is actually that thin, there has to be cables, DvD-player, decoder and powersupply.

It will be a very thin, and very efficient TV with incredible reaction time, and nice features alltogether, but it won't be a leap 100 years into the future.

  • @Spastb00n

yes but its only a matter of time till they create a battery that has 1000 hours life and is rechargeable

  • Yeah, but unfortunately 1000 hours doesn't really say anything.

If you were to operate your mp3-player with a submarine accumulator, it'd likely last quite long.

Size, current and voltage matter, I'm not that much into electronics, but really high energy densities have not yet been realised in a battery :p

  • @Spastb00n yeah but its only a matter of time, im sure eventually we'll create a battery that lasts a lifetime and doesnt need any to be recharged at all

  • Yeah I here what Both of your are saying and sure I invent things like this everyday in my mind but an idea is an idea does not mean it's ur idea there's a million ppl thinking the same thing but industry is industry we will have to wait for what I invision to be living batteries with like a 40yr lifespan mabye a yr or 2 maybe a hundred yrs from now who knows Im not in control but if I was .... welll

  • do you think that High end cars could use them though? imagine an oled that wrapped behind the windshield and offered things like speed, rpm, hell maybe even FLIR for bad weather driving.

  • Dunno, but our BMW does that already, by just projecting some of that data on the lower part of the windscreen.

Hmm, hard to say about FLIR, but since it would make you quite dependant on the system, a failure could be catastrophic, so it might not be allowed.

  • soon tv wont need a screen, they will send video and audio information directly to your brain using the brains electrical harmonic frequencies as a carrier. then this technology will fall into the wrong hands and everyone will be able to beam images into your brain while you think its real. fun times

  • @ScrewAttackChina ya its coming soon per orrder your tin foil hats hahaha religion is soon to fail they need a new way to control

  • @ScrewAttackChina porn in your head, now you know what to do in a boring class lol

  • @ScrewAttackChina who knows maybe we have been living in that since we were born ( matrix anyone?)

  • @ScrewAttackChina smoke weed ...same thing there

  • @ScrewAttackChina

omg, lets all put on our tinfoil hats...

  • @ScrewAttackChina sounds awesome but wouldnt you go crazy and not be able to tel a difference between whats real and whats not?

  • This is cool and all, but I want a thin membrane screen to stick onto my car like a magnet, that shows movies or whatever, which would rock for a rolling advertisement, unlike the still ones they have on taxi's these days. Could also look really cool. Animated Flames on the side of your car anyone? LOL

  • you are a genius o.O Animated Flames ftw

  • ya good idea.. and what about a fabric of the same kind? i'd love to wear clothes that broadcast the image behind me. then i can be invisible

  • Transmitting the image behind you won't work in a 360 Degree 3D world. People to the left or right will still see you. To have an invis suit, you need something that bends the light from every direction around you, using gravity waves on the correct frequency, then it would appear you are no longer there, as you are inside the bubble of the distortion. Close to what we see in Predator.

  • I've heard of a suit that uses fiber optic cable to bring light from one side of you to the other. In theory, placing the cables in the right place would make it almost seamless, would require a LOT of R&D tho.

  • Decide where you would want a tattoo and then have this implanted instead so if you get tired of the picture that is showing just load a different one or just have it animated.

I am willing to bet that someone is reading this and thinks that would be a good idea.

  • @ScrewAttackChina you moron.

    I hope you were sarcastic!

  • @ScrewAttackChina It exists...and it's impressive.

  • @okugi42 oh rly? do u have any links on it? would like to see it. thanks brah ! booya

  • @ScrewAttackChina It was mentioned on Prototype This briefly and I've looked it up a few times too. The issue they're having with it is viewing angle, which this OLED tech should solve. then they'll have to use sensors to figure out where people are, the only issue with that is as far as I can tell that concept would only work well from 1 viewing angle at a time, so if there where 2 people looking at you, only one of them could be fooled.

  • @okugi42 interesting.. thanks for that info, buddy..

  • @ScrewAttackChina Yup, it's possible but it wouldn't be effective at close ranges. You'd have to get rid of the glossiness of the material, which would slightly blur the image. (unless there's a way to de-gloss without effecting the image).

  • @ScrewAttackChina -Dont worry to the world you already are...save your money =P

  • @dpowers88 yes, extremely wise statement there

  • @ScrewAttackChina no your clothing would be invisible and you would be naked hahaha

  • @ScrewAttackChina it's a good idea for motocyclists who rides during the night!

  • Imagine when you can shoot with real guns on your TV when playing a game

  • @olesto You can.... once.

  • How much?

  • Like they said we can expect seriall production of OLED tehnology by mid 2011 so "joust" one and half year .

  • more like 3 years

  • why would you be puching holes in it any way

  • Just for demonstrative purposes.

  • Would be wicked if the punched out pieces were still lit!

  • give it another 10 years

  • Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • could i connect this to a psp?

  • @chickenpoper Yeah but I 'spose you could also connect a rock or a banana to your PSP too. What good would it do? lol

  • soon there will be statements like, "oh no he tore my tv", "save ur tvs from rats", "baby dont chew that oled..." this tv is not fitting here.....cut it" !!!! lololololololol!!!!
