  • So who do you guy's think it's the king? Giga? or carcharo?

Heck both where extreme close relatives but still...

  • I first encountered heard of that thing in Dino Crisis 2, and for a number of years, I thought it was something they made up as an upgrade from the T-Rex, I never imagined the behemoth was real!

  • He puts too much emphases on it being larger then rex despite it's only SLIGHTLY larger by a very small sum. It's basically the SAME size. However, rex is a far more intelligent strategic dino capable of complex thought while giga barely even had half the brain size or intellect of rex, smarter then spino though. Rex is also a far more powerful durable muscular dino while giga is a more weaker slender dino with a very weak design which allows it to run about the same speed as rex despite larger.

  • Comment removed

  • Giga's weak design allows it to run at about the same speed as rex despite being SLIGHTLY larger also makes it a more weaker dino as well and incapable of taking blows and incapable of actually fighting. Rex was undeniable design to b a better hunter and a furious fighter. Rex also has a thick muscular neck while giga's was average. Lets not forget rex had steel bending jaws filled with 12in bone smashing, flesh ripping, impact resistance, armor piercing teeth with additional infectious bit.

  • @TopPhilosopher1 you are exactly right, heres a top five of fighter dino's 1: t-rex 2:carcharodontosaurus 3: giganotosaurus 4: allosaurus 5: mapusaurus

  • @dronox2010 i thought spinosauros would be in that list, he was the largest living arthropod on land and im not sure but i think he was able to move faster than rex.

  • @afatmeanguy no, spinosaurus maybe looks impressive, bujt it was weak because if the sail on its back snaps, hes dead, if he gets slammed by something, and falls, its dead because it cannot get back up+ i think mapusaurus would beat the ass out of a spino :D

  • @dronox2010 oh :/ well i guess you learn something new everyday....but still spino looks cooler :P

  • @afatmeanguy :D of course spino is cool! (but giganotosaurus is cooler XD)

  • @sootyferrari65 1/2Not really, new studies shows that allo, or creatures related having weak skulls but allo had a very weak bite. However, it's now known for using its upper jaw like an axe.

Mapusaurusis much more smaller then rex and was around 30ft. It too like other carnosaurians was not built nearly as powerful as rex which is even far more powerful then gigantosaurus.

"Spinosaurus was much larger, heavier and had more powerful arms and jaws" Aw, Jp3 I see.

  • @sootyferrari65 Spino was only 51ft to a maximum of 55ft in length while rex was 45ft length. That's only around 10ft which is not much(its extra length is mainly due to its tail and its longer slender neck and snout)especially when they are at hip. Also, rex was a far more muscular and powerful dino while spino was far more slender and wasn't built for power at all. So spino wasn't dramatically larger at all.

I only planned for teo comment but I will have to write more

  • @sootyferrari65 Spino's weight is actually 2/3 long tail and massive bony sail which also reduces swiftness, agility, stamina, mobility, flexibility and even more speed. Rex's wight is mainly due to its musculature ans when they weighed about th same, its explicit which has its wight more into power and strength. Also, rex can distribute its weight, especially in combat like no other, so wight is actually on rex's side.

    4th comment coming right above.

  • @sootyferrari65 Spino's arms are actually not what or how you are dramatizing. They are much more shorter then Jp3 is convincing you and cannot extend far. Its arms were also pretty slender. They lacked flexibility like all other large theropods. As far as all the evidence is concluding, its arm were very slow moving. Spino's hands and claws were not even built to grip. Also, rex can easily bite them off causing spino to bleed to death(more of a hindrance then an advantage)

  • @sootyferrari65 Finally, spino's jaws. All evidence is actually strongly concluding that spinosaurus had one of, if not the weakest jaws ever discovered on a large theropod. It had small jaws and jaw muscle and with such a delicate long narrow snout with hollowed teeth would make it even more weaker and making it impossible for a spino to have even nearly the bite fore you just made up. In fact, spino could barely reach a ton whereas rex had a minimum of 6tons for teens

  • @sootyferrari65 With rex being much more powerful, stronger than spino and one bite killer jaws, spino's chances on defeating a rex are already pretty low. However, rex is also far more intelligent, in fact the smartest large theropod ever discovered by a dramatic margin which made it very strategic and capable of complex thought(unlike spino which had one of the lowest intellects). Rex senses are also far more greater in smell, hearing and vision while spino's eyes were more to the sides.

  • @sootyferrari65 Also, rex is far more durable and very experienced in fighting as it did so every say of its life while spio rarely(normally flees from danger). In fact, rex's robust design and anatomy structure and design states it was built for major conflicts.

So what it comes doe to is, spino is actually the least likely to defeat a rex if not entirely impossible all together. However, both rex and giga can both dispatch spino with little effort.

  • @Yooparkeria Rex can grow up to 45ft in length(about the same) while giga's average was only 41.3(there was only one giga larger than rex and it barely past rex's length) not even close to the false estimation of this host.

Female rexes being larger than males is actually based on bird relationships which as a theropod, this would of been the case for gigan. Therefore they would still be at the basic same size

Seriously, do you research, all of that was just painstakingly false.

  • @Yooparkeria Perhaps you should actually read what others write as for you keep misconstruing what I wrote. I never even insinuated "t-rex is bigger", just the obvious fact they are basically the same size(giga being just slightly unnoticeable larger).

"Go to wikipedia and look it up" Even your beloved wiki is also concluding they are indeed BASICALLY the same size. Also, wiki is actually one of the worst info sites around especially with the blue edit link.

  • @Yooparkeria You do realize just about everything you had just said is false and contradicts itself. For example, you were saying that giganotosaurus is dramatically heavier (even though giganotosaurus is only 7tons while t rex has been proven to weigh 8-9tons) yet dramatically faster. You do realize the only reason why t rex is known to run at 20-25 miles per hour BECAUSE of its mass which is already another lack in consistency in your statement.

  • @Yooparkeria Aw, I see, you are trolling more educated people simply because you can't accept the realization that giganotosaurus isn't the dinosaur "Dino Crises: 2" lead you to believe. I had already explain the juxtaposed lack of consistency debacles yet you rave on with zero explanations to how.

I would like to know how big do you think giganotosaurus compared to t-rex? Also, your claims are also breaking the laws of physics and nothing is supporting any of it.

  • @Yooparkeria Giganotosaurus top speed is actually 20 miles per hour if not less . In fact, carcharodontosaurus is the fastest between t-rex, giga and spino and its top speed is 25 miles per hour. Your estimate is an inaccurate outdated point of view, also, not only is lacking consistency but it's completely impossible. In fact it never made any sense.

You really don't give any explanations, just assumptions which contradicts itself entirely

  • @askadetra Wow that is just painstakingly false. First of all, 12in bone smashing, flesh ripping, impact resistance, armor piercing teeth are dramatically more effective than just sharp teeth. You fail t acknowledged the fact that rex had a very thick hide and musculature.

"carcharodontosaurids"? You don't even know what they are called(as always). "large arms"? gigan and carc both actually had arms larger than rex's yet just as effective. They too were small.

  • @askadetra Basically meaning, both t-rex and giganotosaurus were both head dominant carnivores with arms(0:20 is larger than rex's yet are still very small)that were too small.

However, they are both basically the exact same size(it's not even noticeable) which means size wouldn't matter at all. With rex being completely built for power, high musculature and robust durability, it would be much more powerful than giga.

Also, giga had 1/4(if not less) rex's intellect.

  • Comment removed

  • @TopPhilosopher1 fuck intelligence. only raptors were intelligent. t rex was the worst evolution of the large theropods. best predators on land were the carcharodontosaurids aka giga and carcha. they had shark teeth and long claws.

  • @askadetra Intelligence play a major role in any endeavor. In fact, with rex having such stellar intellect and giga had 1/4(if not less) rex's intellect, that alone can easily be a major advantage for rex. That and with them being basically the exact same size and rexes being built for power makes it much stronger.

"long claws" 0:20, those arms are still too short and those claws aren't large enough at all either to do much.

  • @askadetra In short, giganotosaurus is far from the best and primitive predators like it only survived because before Late Cretaceous dinosaurs were relatively simplistic as well as in life style.Basically, all giganotosaurus relied on was size, nothing else. Rex was basically the exact same size except much smarter, durable, stronger, robust, better vision, thick neck and as for both being head dominant, rex also has substantially more powerful jaws and much more effective teeth

  • @TopPhilosopher1 you are forgetting that T-rex's have been proved to hunt in groups as well.

  • @TopPhilosopher1 larger predators could kill trex. if trex was really smarter than the other large predators and for example number one: if trex is human and giga or spino is bear or lion, the human may be smart but with bare hands and smaller he gets killed. intelligence not always helps when it's a matter of size and natural weapons. 2nd example: if t rex with its strong bite is croc and if giga or spino is lion or tiger, the croc gets killed. larger size and more weapons vs just a strong bite

  • @askadetra Except rex has a major intellect advantage from all other large theropods, but rex also has size(basically the exact same)and strength(thanks to being so built for power and musculature)which is what you forget. They are literally the basic same size(not even noticeable). This would mean size isn't going to give any edge for giga

Primitive theropods like giga were simply just great for their time simply because back than, all you needed was size. Rex has that and then some

  • @askadetra Rex isn't a four legged cold blooded reptile that crawled on its belly(your analogy is terribly flawed).

What "more weapons"? The only thing giga had was small arms 0:20 and a bite force that s much weaker than rex and teeth that are simply just sharp with a very weak skull. Rex had small arms but it had jaws that can break steel(an instant kill) with a powerful ramming skull that can break bones and plow its enemies to the ground. Rex is just too much.

  • @askadetra t-rex also had durability over giga. Creatures such as giga are well known for their weak anatomies and even weaker skulls whereas rex had the most robust and durable anatomy out of all the theropods. That and rex's thick hide and musculature, especially its thick musculature neck. Giga's neck was just average, it was much slender than rex and wasn't buit for power and its skin was slightly below if not just average.

  • @TopPhilosopher1 shut up idiot. shut up you all with that t rex. t rex was smaller than giga and best predators are giga, carcha and spino. this is it. you have to agree or be damned.

  • @askadetra "shut up idiot. shut up you all with that t rex. t rex was smaller than giga and best predator"You haven't given anything convincing;all you do is emphasize that giga is larger even though it's basically the exact same size(not even noticeable)

T-rex just has too much over giga such as intelligence, musculature, power, durability, ramming skull, distributing weigh, able to hold its ground, much greater sight, bite force and teeth(just the short list)as I explained in various comments

  • @askadetra Actualy only an idiot would believe a bigger predator makes a better predator. If you know anything about biology you'd know only how succesful a predator is in it's hunting makes for whether it's better or not, and for dinosaurs, that data is unavailable.

  • @animaljp3 "it was heavier then t rex, about same design" They weigh about the same if not t-rex being heavier due to such musculature and their designs are very different. Sure they are both creatures with smaller arms and bites but giga wasn't built for power whereas rex undeniably was as primary for it. Giga like all of its relatives has a weak anatomy(espeually weak skulls) which makes unsuited for actual conflict whereas rex was primarily designed for actual relentless combat.

  • @TopPhilosopher1 True,..size doesnt always matter

  • @TopPhilosopher1 Never forget that Rex's brain is twice the size of a grown man - that said it all!

  • spinosaurus A. 1) T-rex 2) giga 3)

T-rex specimens from Garfield county MT has "average body length and mass" larger than the biggest gigantosaurus MUCPv-95

  • 1. Spinosaurus 2. Giganotosaurus 3. T-Rex

  • 2nd largest predator?!! make it 3rd largest predator....people always forget Spino....1st largest Predator is Spinosaurus 2nd T-rex 3rd Giganotosaurus..

  • @CrossfireN22 :/ Giga was bigger then t-rex search it up.

  • @boomertank67 oh...thank you :P

  • giga had chicken share a common ancestor, but so does human and chicken.

    unless you are creationists.

and why is megaraptor skull look like a subadult mapusaurus?

  • gigantosaurus is smaller than tyrannosaurus holotype (1905, osborn, CM 9380/AMNH 973)

  • T-rex has the largest skull anyway

    giga MUCPv CH1 skull length+ skull width = 160~180 + 60 =220~240cm(extrapolated)

    T-rex FMNH PR 2081

    141~153+95 =236~ 248cm(complete specimen)

    T-rex UCMP 118742

    153~175 + 105 = 258~280(extrapolated)

    T-rex UCMP 137538

    170~180+115 = 285~295 (extrapolated)

  • @CelestisFang yes i said almost the same about the skull size of giga and spino

  • Comment removed

  • from the most feared predator on the planet to a chicken.......god has a weird sense of humor....

  • Today I am going to eat a dinosaur for lunch.

  • awesome video :D

  • giganonotosaurus is called so because it was found after t rex, it is bigger than t rex and has the biggest skull of all big meat eater dinosaurus. the skull is almost 2 m. even spinosaurus the biggest one, has not a bigger skull than giganotosaurus.

  • @askadetra

giganotosaurus MUCPv-CH1 has the "extroplated" skull of 160-180cm, and MUCPv-95 is 173-195cm

Spinosaurus MSNM V 4047 skull is 167% of 122cm skull of Suchomimusat GMN-501 of, "extroplated" skull length 175~200cm

    so spinosaurus is still longer

  • what a stupid mole guide dude

  • thumbs up if dino crisis 2 got your curiosity going!

  • How did THAT evolve into a chicken?

  • @ThePersonelcat not that the raptors and other small dino's

  • CHICKEN MONSTER! FUCKING FUCK!

  • That's one badass mother F'n chicken Pablo!

  • Shonisaurus kills all l!!!! lol

  • it is samller than T-rex

is condyle bone is smaller, means the skull is lighter

yes 195cm of MUCPv-95 is 30cm larger than extroplated skull of UCMP 137538 or UCMP 118742, but it is about 40cm narrower in the base...so the T-rex skull is bigger over all

  • @CelestisFang your retarded

  • its 12 feet longer and 3 feet taller and weighed 2 more tons

  • It's not the biggest the spinosaurus is

  • @karmauiddiotts spinos a fisherman

  • So if dinosaurs are now birds... why do they still call them dinosaurs? the name loses it's meaning if they are no longer raptiles...

  • You should look up the evolution of archosaurs really for those kinds of answers :)

  • Lol why would a dinosaur want to evolve into a chicken isn't that going a step backwards? xD

  • @Justoneofthebrothers I was just about to write the same thing until i read this haha

  • @Justoneofthebrothers guess they needed to but theyll be back theyre plotting theyre revenge as we speak.

  • since when was giganotosaurus 47ft? the length 13.2m (43ft) is always the length stated everywhere else. t rex celeste is 14.1m (45ft), spinosaurus estimated at 18m (59ft) and carcahdontosaurus about the same size as giganotosaurus. so giganotosaurus is probably tied as second biggest.

  • @SuperMagnum83 actually giga was bigger carcahdontosaurus weighed in 7 tons giga was 8

  • @nash211278 impossible to say which weighed more, individuals of each species probably overlaped each other in weight for example a really skinny giganotosaurus could weigh only 5 tonnes and an extremely obesse carcahdontosaurus might weigh 10 tonnes and vice versa.

  • @SuperMagnum83 thanks for reply but i disagree u have no evidence that there is a 10 ton carcahdontosaurus which is in impossible and to see which the correct weight is u have to get a normal carcahdontosaurus and a normal giganotosaurus at full size wat u said is wrong

to get a carcahdontosaurus 10 ton and a skinny 5 ton giganotosaurus

  • @nash211278 But how do you know what is the average size for a species? you would have to find about 20 fully grown specimen of each to accurately gauge the average size and i dont think there has even been one complete skeleton of either found yet. finding one partial giga that is a tiny bit bigger than a partial carcah doesn't prove that the whole species was bigger overall because the giga could have been an above average individual and the carcah could have been a below average individual.

  • Giganotosaurus was 3rd largest therapod

  • megaladon was 75ft long

  • @groxbomber y r u talking about sharks -.- these r dinosaurs

  • He meant it followed a long sequence of transitional species over millions of year. He was pointing out a trait the dinosaur had in common. He did not mean (as you so ignorantly have claimed many times) the dinosaur one day had a chicken baby.

  • @HODthunderwolf

Yeah, go ahead ignoring the discoveries of many dinosaurs actually having feathers like birds (not as advanced feathers but all in all feathers), not only theropods had feathers pretty much every kind of dinosaur shared this feat, if that isn't some kind of transition phase(s) i don't know what is... But i don't expect a inbred creationist to actually realise this...

  • Comment removed

  • @HODthunderwolf

As I said they weren't exactly feathers but they have found the same keratin found in the modern day bird feathers. Other than that they have digging site in China which pretty much every dinosaur (at that site) had feathers.

fyi. several dinosaurs have been found having feathers even dinosaurs that couldn't have evolved into birds.

but again i don't expect a creationist to actually look at facts instead of pointing out things they dont understand...

  • @HODthunderwolf

Actually they've found a raptor that was covered with feathers, enough to even glide from tree to tree. Just search for microraptor. Since this one had relatively well-evolved feathers one would assume even Velociraptor had some kind of feathers. fyi. i didnt grab any of this from some random documentary but actual legitimate published fossil findings. (but you would rather think that they must've been lying, ye?)

  • giga 47 ft long t-rex 42.8 almost 43 ft long spino at 50 ft long this is in vase of real fossil no fucking stimation

  • DAMN! Dinosaurs are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!,

    !!!!!

  • you are wrong. The largest spinosaur ever found was only 12 meters.

the 17 meters already anounced are just an aproximation made on a piece of jaw and it was overestimated.

    Spinosaurs were nothing Usually 1st =giganotosaurus (usually something about 15 meters) 2nd= T.rex/mapusaurus/Carcharodontosaurus/Saurophaganax (13 meters) 3rd= Spinosaurus/allosaurus (12 meters)

A single huge specimen does no mean that the whole specie is that big...

  • only 30.000 only in one year haha went Sue was on display in one day have 10.000 people ha

  • btw it was 80 feet long so leo spino rex giga take a hike.

  • the lagest thrapod dinosaur ever is the deinocheirus its longer than leoplurodon and taller than spino so take that.

  • tallest dinsoaur is seismosaurus shut up bitch

  • spinosaurus is bigger, GIGANTOSAURUS IS DWWARFED BY LILEURODON. Dumbass u said its biggest carnivore evver, in title u said its 2nd. its not even 5th.

  • spinosaurus is d biggest, then its giganotosaurus. liopleurodon and other relatives arent considered dinosaurs they're considered aquatic reptiles

  • you mean Liopleurodon? 38feet isn't very long a megladon is much larger then that, and spinosaurus is more of fisher then a hunter due to how its head is shaped and its teeth Gigantosaurus would so far be the largest hunting dinosaur found

  • wow the megaraptor was there too

    awsome!!!

  • Giganotosaurus are in the infraorder of Carnosauria which were theropods related to Allosaurus. According to my researches, T-Rex and other orders of Coelurosauria had foot more closely related to birds like chicken.

  • Sorry, maybe on land, but in the whole world it was the liopleurodon.

  • Liopleurodon was only 15 meters at most in length. Also Is Giga really 47 feet in length?

  • Very interesting vid 5*

But an evolution from dinosaurs raptor to chicken ???

Can't imagine because evolution should be optimization.

  • Not always,

evolution doesn't always mean becoming stronger, faster, and bigger. Just better suited for an environment. And there are a few things that the chicken has over a dinosaur, such as warm bloodedness, and a faster gestation time for the birth of their young (although it would still get owned in 5 seconds by the dinosaur).

  • thanks for posting
