  • yet these same people (not necessarily Glenn, i dont think ive ever hear him say this) like Glenn, the same people like an O'Reilly or other evangelical, conservative, right of center people say that marilyn manson is to blame for the columbine shooting. So they can bitch about that, but it's different for them.

  • Come to think of it, I don't think conservatives blamed Olbermann for what happened at Fort Hood. Of course, Democrats love to blame everyone but the gunman.

  • Recent survey: 20% of Americans consider themselves liberals.

US Health and Human Services recent study: 1 in 5 Americans have a mental disorder.

Coincidence. I don't think so. I have never known an insane person to ever have been cured. Thanks for illustrating this fact.

  • I think my favorite bit about these 'conservatives' is that they'll rail about obscure research or art grants by the government as 'wasteful', then turn around and praise farm subsidies and corporate welfare ontop of tax cuts for the rich.

I don't get it. Alot of what the conservative agenda proposes doesn't even help people that aren't near the top of the bracket.

  • WHEN THE FASCISTS APPEAR IN THE USA, LIKE BECK, BUSH, CHENEY, COULTER, SHARPTON AND PALIN, THEY WILL BE WAVING AMERICAN FLAGS AND THROWING THEIR BIBLES AS WEAPONS AT THEIR ENEMIES!

  • fox news contributes to these problems because they scare narrow minded people into committing awful crimes in order to be more "patriotic" or "american". fox is not news, its a political propaganda machine and the only source for what some americans cling to so some can validate their hatred for people who are different or not conservative.

  • @dom44444 The uni-bomber had a copy of Al Gore's book. James Lee was an environmentalist wacko like the terrorists Green Peace and ELF. Lee held people hostage at Discovery Channel. MSNBC host Dylan Ratigan and his guest Ted Rall said on NSBC November 8 that it is time for a revolution even a violent one. These are leftists wanting violence in America, not talk radio hosts like Rush or Beck.

  • neo-cons are retarded

  • I love it how Glenn keeps mediamatters busy. Those pimpled fat geeks must stay up late every night.

  • @bambam8541 Don't forget leftists bloggers still live at home and don't have jobs. George Soros is funding Media Matters. Soros sent $1 million dollars trying to keep Beck's book Broke from being published.

  • @bezunartea I didn't say you specifically said America mind it's own business. There are a lot of people who say we need to mind our own business whenever we are in a war, yet people in other countries have no problem at all butting in to America's business.

  • @bezunartea You said you wanted evidence of the left being racist so I gave you an example. I can give you a lot more like Obama being racist. Obama was in California during his campaign and was talking to a group of people about Pennsylvanians. He said they are typical bitter white people clinging to their bible and guns. Obama said his grandma is is a typical white person afraid of blacks. I have a lot of examples of the left being racist.

  • @bezunartea In 1944, Byrd wrote to segregationist Mississippi Senator Theodore Bilbo

“ I shall never fight in the armed forces with a Negro by my side... Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds. ” — Robert C. Byrd, in a letter to Sen. Theodore Bilbo (D-MS), 1944

  • @bezunartea Why don't you mind your of business, Spaniard? People always tell Americans to mind our own business. So take your own advice. Senator Robert Byrd, Democrat West Virginia used to be in the KKK.

  • Media Matters. The lying organization ran by America hating Progressives and funded by George Soros of MoveOn.org and other loony socialists. Center for American Progress help start this piece of crap.

  • @43m1garand Media matters just shows clips off what other people say. How is that 'socialist' or even biased. Trying to uphold journalistic integrity? Ya thats horrible....

  • @691015005 How about lying and twisting the facts? Media Matters is funded by billionaire George Soros by funneling money through the Tides Foundation. Soros is called the man who collapsed the Bank of England. Soros hates capitalism and talks about a one world government.

  • @43m1garand Okay, show me an example of where they lie and twist the facts. Showing clips of what commentators say is simply keeping them honest.

Yes, and Rupert Murdoch is a saint, right? Hahahahah

  • @691015005 Media Matters stated that Glenn Beck said Obama was the Antichrist when Beck did not say that. A caller to Beck's radio show said that Obama was the Antichrist. Media Matters does not care about the truth. It lies and distorts the facts. It is a leftist organization funded by George Soros who wants to destroy America along with Obama.

  • @43m1garand Um, well can you provide a link to where Media Matters said that Beck called Obama the anti-christ. That wouldn't surprise me if Beck had called him that tough, I mean Beck has called him or implied that Obama is a racist, a Nazi, and a communist on several occassions...

Ya, ya I get it. You think Soros is evil. Murdoch is certainly more evil.

  • @691015005 Go look it up yourself, lazy. I'm not your keeper. What is it with all you leftists? You want everyone else to do research for you. You people claim to be the smartest there is yet you can't do a simple thing like doing a little research. And you think people who watch Fox News and Sarah Palin are stupid. Actually you don't look anything up because you don't care about the truth. All you do is smear and name call.

  • @43m1garand I have looked it up, I'll give you a hint, it doesn't exist beause you made it up. You clearly have never written a paper, when you say something you usually quote the source you got the information from (a bibliography...). You don't make other people search randomly to see if it actually exists... Obviously you don't want to tell me that you made it up, so instead you go on a crazy rant about 'leftisits'. Am I right, or am I right?

When exactly have i 'smeared' or 'name-called'?

  • @691015005 You're an idiot. You're another dumbass that thinks if it is not on the internet it does not exist. You are on the side of George Soros who is threatening and trying to destroy Glenn Beck. Soros gives half billion dollars to different organizations to bring America down. If talk radio such as Beck and Rush do not matter, then the left would not be trying so hard to silence them. The left tells everyone who they fear the most by who they attack the most, such as Sarah Palin.

  • @43m1garand Listen you retard, there's a huge difference between having genuine, ideological differences and being a bat-shit douchebag Glenn Beck listener. Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, and Sean Hannity are all uneducated shitheads who shouldn't be given an audience. I can't even call myself a conservative anymore because fucking morons like you have given the word such a stupid connotation.

  • @GENERICCEREAL67 You never were a conservative. You don't even know the meaning of the word. You are another loony leftists pretending to be someone you are not. Like I said earlier. All you leftists tell everyone who you fear the most by who you attack the most. If these people didn't matter, you wouldn't say anything about them. Keep watching MSNBC, loser. The journalist on their admit to being socialist.

  • @43m1garand I want the government to eliminate ALL victimless crimes (seatbelt/drug laws), to stop subsidizing stupid bullshit like art endowments, to cut the military budget in half, and to cut most of the new healthcare proposal. If we compare who's more serious about limiting the size and scope of government, I guarantee you I'm more fucking "conservative" than you are.

  • @GENERICCEREAL67 Ain't that the truth, I'd like to think I'm conservative but I have nothing in common with these fanatical retards spewing hate all over the place

  • @GENERICCEREAL67 Liberals are the morons. They blame Bill O'Reilly for the murder of that abortion and the shooting of the COngresswoman, but won't blame the anti-war movement or MSNBC for what happened at Fort Hood.

  • @StoogeWatcher So let me get this straight: you're saying that the anti-war movement and MSNBC are actively promoting fundamentalist Islam? You're saying they have entire shows dedicated to the teachings of Islam?

I'm not suggesting Glenn Beck was responsible for the attempted assassination of Giffords, but his ideology is 100% aligned with that of the shooter (small government, gold standard, etc.) and we see his fat fucking face on FNC in prime time. Your argument is retarded.

  • @GENERICCEREAL67 The anti-war movement and its spokesgoons hate American soldiers and make excuses for Islamists. You liberals are retarded. You blame everyone but the gunman.

  • @StoogeWatcher You're a perfect example why Texas shouldn't be allowed to have internet access.

  • @GENERICCEREAL67 And you're a perfect example of why Democrats lost the House.

  • @StoogeWatcher democrats lost the house for the same reason that republicans lost the presidency, and for the same reason the gop will lose the house yet again; There are no admirable politicians anymore, too fucking few of them look at the bigger picture, none are willing to compromise, and all of them are too concerned with their personal interests. But guess what? I have a great deal more disdain for people like you, who say "you liberals" or "you conservatives" as if you're any different.

  • @rahl182 I can't handle how much winning your post has.

  • @StoogeWatcher

But who influenced the gunman, who was already mentally unbalanced to begin with?

  • @NUTCASE71733 Liberals blame everyone but the gunman.

  • @StoogeWatcher

No one is doing that. We of course blame the gunman, he was dumb enough to do the damn deed. The problem is the gunmen in these scenerios are unbalanced and paranoid. Feed them Glen Beck's nonsense and it gives them the idea that they SHOULD kill people. Beck clearly said "THEY'RE COMING FOR OUR GUNS, FIGHT BACK AGAINST THE FACIST COMMUNISTS". The gunman clearly needed help but he sat there with his tin foil hat and ate every lie fed to him.

  • @43m1garand Haha and you're someone who is full of shit! Just give it up you made it up, and you're a pathetic little man. I can make up stuff to! Glenn Beck rapes babies, Sarah Palin is actually a space alien hell-bent on destroying the world. Now go out and prove me wrong.

Media matters is based solely on the internet so if it exists it would be online, you idiot...

Wow, that last sentence makes no sense....Try using actual names instead of vauge terms like 'the left', and 'they'.

  • @43m1garand hello beckee, off topic, do you know if beck is having the rest of his ass removed.

that should shut him up. do your own fact check, dont take my word for it, look it up

    you go glenny, please go

  • I don't even know if you can play the fucking guitar, but learn it and stay the hell out of the way when you are a mule in a race of thoroughbreds.

  • @MrEatonbeaver It is the glittering jewel of colossal ignorance, MrEatonbeaver. Mr. constitutional lawyer (so he claims) still has not told me where in the constitution the messiah has the authority to do anything he is doing. This moron doesn't understand sarcasm. You brag about being a badass yet block everyone. What a wuss.

  • @MrEatonbeaver Nice to know you are stalking and harassing 31guitar, but you don't have the guts to debate me. Chicken.

  • @bezunartea These Uber leftists are full of racists. They are hell bent on spreading lies about anybody who opposes Obama. They're calling Tea Partiers violent, but said those riots in arizona where the citizens threw things at the cops were somehow peaceful. I have not seen one video on something wrong CNN or MSNBC said, always fox news. Because they cant stand anything they disagree with. Look up George Soros, he's a globalist. Hes trying to collapse the Euro and US dollar

  • @31guitar Soros was convicted of insider trading in France in 2002. He makes his money when various markets drop by selling short. Soros blames many of the world's problems on the failures of capitalism. Sounds like a socialist to me.

  • @bezunartea Umm, I dont even watch fox and friends. I do my own research

  • @31guitar

If you can define what a Marxist is, first of all, then that's a start. If you can find any large gathering of actual Marxists, I'd be amazed. If you can find anyone in favor of the NWO, I'd be far more amazed. Media Matters is a liberal watchdog group, whose purpose is to call out right wing media when it's wrong, just as the much larger Fox News does to the left.

For the record, elitism isn't reserved for the left. Elites are called that because they ARE better. If the left is...

  • @dEdGrimley A marxist is someone who follows the teachings of Karl Marx... Large gathering of marxists would be Obama's administration and friends (Van Jones, Bill Ayers, Jim Wallace)... In favor of the NWO are George Soros, Maurice Strong, Joel Rogers. Elites are better than us? Umm excuse me, no they are not. They are human too. No better than you and me, the only difference is the have a lot of money. Media Matters is pushing an agenda to slander any on the right, its exactly what Soros wants

  • @31guitar

No, Mr. Lazy. What does that MEAN. What ARE Marx's teachings, according to you?

After that, THEN you can start telling me about how these guys are "31guitar Marxists".

Next, show me evidence where any of those people have ever said anything about wanting a singular global dictatorship, empirically.

Being elite, by its definition, means, BETTER. SURPASSING NORMAL. If you and the Glenn Becks and Sarah Palins of the world want to use words, learn what they MEAN.

    Y'allz crazy, f'realz.

  • @dEdGrimley Marx's teaching are redistribution of wealth, racial superiority, "the ends justify the means" "from each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs" Basically look at everything Hitler and Stalin did. Maurice Strong advocates for a one-world currency. All of the climate change crap is to redistribute the wealth globally. There is so much video evidence of these people advocating for a NWO, Andy Stern himself said, "we forgot to create a world government". Do research

  • @31guitar

Absolutely not... It was about putting the control of government into the hands of the workers, ultimately flattening out the class structure, as to economics and governance.

Racial superiority? Which race was supposed to be superior?

The ends justify the means was Machiavelli.

Hitler was a Fascist totalitarian, totally different. Hated Communism.

Lenin formed AN idea of Communism, and Stalin perverted that into another form of totalitarian dictatorship. Do research.

  • @31guitar

One world currency does not mean one world government. It means not having to change currency from country to country. With a global economy, inevitable under the current conditions, it's already universal, you just have to do more conversions the way it is. Climate change is about the environment. That's it. There's no conspiracy, just science that points in that direction.

On 2nd thought, don't do research. You've already shown you don't know how to, and you've become paranoid.

  • @dEdGrimley You really expect people to push for a one-world currency but not a one-world government? They go hand in hand, if one happens, the other one will happen too. Climate Change is about control. The science is faked, Look at the climate gate emails. Al Gore is a hysteria mongerer looking for some cash. Cap and Trade will give the government control over the free market

  • @31guitar

If there's one thing I can expect, it's a lack of rational thought from either you or Glenn Beck. I don't expect either to actually happen, but even one occurring doesn't have the inevitable consequence of the other. It's called a slippery-slope logical fallacy. You're rife with them.

The science was not faked. The e-mails showed they had poor tactics in presenting the facts, since people had a hard time believing them, as you seem to now. And you're immune to those facts.

  • @dEdGrimley Have you read them? Probably not, I have though. It was way more than "poor tactics". How about another example? IPCC used a fitness magazine for information. James Hansen from NASA was caught faking temp data from October of 2008 I think it was. You it would take 20,000 years of heavy ice melting for oceans to rise a yard? Where does Gore get 20 feet in 100 years? You know, if I didn't do research, I would probably be as naive and in denial as you are.

  • @31guitar

What information did the IPCC cite in the fitness magazine, exactly? I mean, you read the e-mails, right?

  • @mutefx The Climate gate emails have nothing to do with the IPCC. The IPCC cited (false) information on the glaciers in the Himalayan mountains

  • glenn beck is a person that was offered a job to whip up the worst part of the human heart, he deals in fear plays on ignorance, paints a picture of hate and then this is where the fun starts HE CREATES A ENEMY!! and it's usually some BROWN person or some fucking ISM this asshole doesn't even know the meaning of!! and conservatives line up to hear this FOOL, because he's like DADDY, I point out the enemy but you gotta go get them yourself, GOT A GUN??

  • 1. The man who shot the recruiters did it because he was a muslim, not because he protested the war. It was a religious problem rather than a political one.

    2. O'Reilly mentioned him BY NAME.

    3. That about the recruits was ALL over the news (as it should have been)

  • Yesterday I saw an Iraqi Soldier carry a 90 year old man on his back to a polling site in Kirkuk City. The old man turned to me and said "thank you George Bush".

  • if he's dishonest, when why is he on national tv from the start???also Bill O'REILY is also dishonest with a very bad temper and likes talking over people...i think it's very unprofessional and very high schoolish

  • I'll add one more thing about Anita Dunn

You know what makes her so dangerous?

It isn't just that she herself turns to Mao for inspiration when it comes to philosophy,

it is that she teaches others to do the same.

    That is dangerous.

It is newsworthy and people should perk up and yes be aware!

    It's not ok!

  • What philosophy are you referring to? I'm not going to let you go on this. Don't say "any philosophy" like a hack. Answer the question. What philosophy did she teach others to follow? Saying something over and over doesn't equal an explanation. You are repeating a claim that you refuse to explain. This is a clear indicator that you didn't reach this conclusion through critical thought and don't want to look bad by admitting you just soak up Becks hateful drippings like a dirty sponge. Answer me.

  • I meant "who" there (below) not "how"

"who" some of these people's ....

  • btw, sorry for the repeat response ... I thought I lost the first one and it had not gone through.

It is worth saying twice, however, because it is such an important point that Beck makes about how some of these people's heros are ....

For instance, Margaret Sanger is another person who is lauded and really should be deplored ...

  • Now tell us why Sanger should be "deplored". Go ahead and enlighten the world. Don't just say "Planned Parenthood is bad". Every time you spout an empty claim like this, I'll be on you like there's blood in the water. You'd better bring your A-game, too.

  • olberdouche is a traitor and should be gagged to death with michelle husein odumbos dick.

  • oberdouche is a liar hypocrite and a faggot.

  • If this were Britian Olbermann would have had his crybaby ass slapped hard with a libel suit for defamation in court and would have lost very easily.

  • @theliberalparis

Hmmm, thelib, you can get into Beck's mind and see his future devious plans?

I think your comment seems to more make Beck's point here, although you hoped to rebut it.

For you to suppose you know something and then wildly note it here as some kind of fact ....

  • Glenn Beck often brings up points that other media completely miss or either miss making the big deal out of.

    That's why I like him,

besides the fact that he is brilliant and has morals.

Mostly I just really like to LEARN when I listen to news, and Glenn Beck is not afraid to get out the blackboard and draw the details out ..... things you cannot argue with .... facts.

Too bad more people don't listen and learn from his show, but a lot of us do.

  • @theliberalparis

    theliberalparis

I believe you mean to use the word "guarantee"

  • Just because Glenn Beck has a blackboard, he is not a teacher. You aren't learning anything from him. He plays on the fears of people. He is a sensationalist. If you want to learn, go read a book. You'd be much better off.

  • Morals? Come on. You have to have a moral problem with the sheer amount of quote cropping and out of context criticisms that Beck dishes out, if nothing else. At the VERY least, he's intentionally being dishonest to his audience. That's pretty bad, right? If we need to get specific, I can give some prime examples.

  • @chubbyruckus

Chubby, be specific. I watch Beck from start to finish, and research what he says as well. I also have been listening to other newscasters for a few years and his teachings are lining up with what they are saying as well, he's no lone gunner, and this aint new stuff he's teaching, it's just "new to you" maybe ... and you aren't listening all the way through or studying, obviously. You are simply offended because it doesn't match what you already believe.

  • Okay. Let's do one at a time. Beck clearly cropped Anita Dunn's quote that referenced Mao and Mother Teresa in order to paint her as a Mao-loving commie nutcase. He removed the entire point of her quote and the intent of her message to score some cheap points. Look, Beck doesn't hold a candle to quote croppers like Hannity, but he's great at misrepresenting other people's words to smear them. After this one, we'll do the Ginsberg "Roe vs. Wade" debacle. Then we can go to Sotomayor. I love it.

  • @chubbyruckus

You haven't watched Beck. Beck showed a huge part of the speech of Anita Dunn over and over and over again on his show. When he talks about it he sometimes will just use the Mao part without the surrounding speech. However, her speech does NOT pull her out of the doghouse on this one, it only reinforces that she turns to Mao for inspiration. I'm sorry but it is you that does not watch Beck enough to know that he is spot on here.

You like Mao too? Surely not ....

  • @chubbyruckus

Chubby, you are wrong and here is why. Beck talked about Anita's speech many times on his show, and showed a huge portion of the speech, all the surrounding text, which only reinforces that she turns to Mao for inspiration.

There is no excuse for turning to Mao for inspiration on anything, there is no fudging out of this one and saying that he took it out of context or whatever.

Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, and may I say, WRONG!

    Surely you don't like Mao .... ?????

  • This is hilarious. What does she turn to Mao for inspiration on? Please tell me. I'd like you to address this because your comment gives me the impression that you yourself don't even know what she said. How can this be if Beck so openly covered her speech? What did she say she turns to Mao for inspiration on? I'll wait for you to go read the actual speech and get back to me but you'd better bring something good and not the weak sauce you just tried to serve me. I'm disappointed so far.

  • @chubbyruckus

It's not hilarious for someone close to the presidency to be teaching students that it's a good idea to follow Mao, a mass murderer, in any way at all.

Why don't you watch her speech? I'm sure you can find it online.

I repeat ... you do not study. You simply make comments on things you haven't even seen (i.e. her speech) and comment on Beck, who you haven't even watched thoroughly.

    You do not study.

You have no business commenting until you do.

  • You have just shown me your cards. I knew you didn't know what you were talking about but I wanted to give you enough rope to hang yourself with. After you yourself claimed that Dunn turns to Mao for inspiration, you couldn't back it up with any examples. Is that the best you can do? Claiming that I didn't study this? You made the claim, sir. I called you on your bullshit and asked you to back it up. The reason you can't is because your claim, again, was false. Thanks for playing, though.

  • @chubbyruckus

Finally, I just got out of surgery. I'm really not in the mood to do your studying for you.

You watch the speech. You become informed, and if at that point, you still support Anita Dunn saying she turns to Mao for inspiration on philosophy .... then you and I will have to agree to disagree on who to hold in high esteem and who not to.

    THE END

  • I assume it was a lobotomy, judging by the way your ability to absorb nonsense seems to overpower your basic ability to think for yourself. Doesn't it embarrass you that you just defended and agreed with Beck's Dunn smearing but when I asked you to demonstrate it, you had nothing? You keep saying that she turns to Mao for inspiration. What did she ACTUALLY say she turns to him for inspiration on? (HINT: she didn't). Claiming I didn't research this doesn't save you from being wrong.

  • ...And another thing: Even though Beck aired the entire speech (at least once), does that mean he's off the hook for cropping the quote several other times? Are you okay with dishonesty if it's only 90% dishonest? At what point is quote cropping okay in your book? The thought that you actually heard the entire clip and still think she's a fan of Mao doesn't bode well for your critical thinking skills.

  • @chubbyruckus

Simply because he doesn't air the whole speech every time he talks about her saying that Mao is someone she turns to most when she thinks about philosophy and also encourages others to do the same is NOT "cropping" or taking anything out of context.

PLEASE WATCH THE SPEECH so you will know what he's talking about.

  • Well, since she never said that she turns to Mao most when she thinks about philosophy or encouraged anybody to do the same, I guess you're right. It isn't quote cropping. It's flat out lying. Thanks for clearing that up for me. Please don't stoop to dodging my questions with ridiculous answers like "watch the speech yourself". We're adults. I've obviously watched it. What philosophy do you think Mao inspires Dunn to follow? It's a simple question that you should easily be able to answer.

  • @chubbyruckus

you are too lazy to google for it and watch her speech, you are ignorant and just want to argue.

don't bother me again, i don't feel like talking to you.

  • That's okay. If I was you, I wouldn't want anybody to point out my ignorance either. The trouble is, you can't seem to stop posting nonsense without being able to defend it. You, sir, are way out of your league here. For someone who watches Beck and "researches" his claims, you are painfully ill equipped to defend this one.

  • @chubbyruckus

    you are a liar

  • @chubbyruckus

Anita Dunn said EXACTLY THAT, that she turns to Mao and Mother Theresa most for philosophy ... you are not only ignorant but now you are a liar.

  • ...Aaaaand you fail. Okay. Since you obviously don't want to answer my question honestly, I'll put it another way. What was the message of that speech? What was the message that brought the ironic pairing of Mao and Mother Teresa into the speech itself? What I'm trying to do here is see if you even got any of the speech at all or if you just heard the word Mao and went into panic mode. And you know as well as I do that she didn't say she "turns to Mao and Mother Teresa most for philosophy".

  • @chubbyruckus

you are a liar, those were her exact words

  • @chubbyruckus

If you have watched the speech, then you are obviously just a liar.

I've better things to do than try to discuss important things with a liar who doesn't care about our country.

  • Bravo. Put your fingers back in your ears before someone says something that challenges your opinions. You are a perfect example of what makes Beck bad for America. You STILL can't answer my simple question and, despite knowing absolutely nothing about me, determine that I don't care about America. Why don't you take another tip from Beck and suggest that I'm like Hitler? Do you realize that you have prevented the progress of this discussion every step of the way?

  • How can I be lying by asking you a question? I'm not suggesting Dunn never referenced Mao in her speech, I'm saying that Beck (and you) are making claims about her that the speech itself doesn't suggest. You can't escape open dialogue by just saying "liar" over and over. I have asked you repeatedly to tell me what philosophy Mao influenced Dunn on. I haven't lied about anything. Frankly, your childish retreat into name calling is very telling. Just remember, you got yourself into this mess.

  • @chubbyruckus

It was hardly just "a reference"! It was to make a philosophical point, I didn't "hack" as you suggest, I actually watched the speech more than once ... you are such a liar, such a liar, such a liar, she was making a philosophical point about life, it would be just as bad as if she had said that she turned to Hitler's words and idea for ANYTHING ... you just try to cover up for Dunn, and why I don't know ... but your argument falls flat on its face in many ways.

  • She specifically states the point: "It is about your choices and your path. You fight your own war. You lay out your own path. You figure out what's right for you. You don't let external definition define how good you are internally." Are you such an idiot that you can't grasp this? What about Hitler saying that the National German government "regards Christianity as the foundation of our national morality, and the family as the basis of national life." Should I start burning bibles now?

  • @chubbyruckus

"You figure out what's right for you." What was right for Mao was mass murder. This is ok with her.

How obvious does it have to get ... do you need to watch vivid films of the murders before it touches your "heart" ... assuming you have one ...

I would never ever use Hitler's words as someone I turn to for any philosophical idea or any idea at all ... Hitler was a mass murderer ... God, you are grasping at non-existing straws!

  • So you don't think that Christianity is the foundation of national morality? Well, that's great. I'm glad to see you don't agree with Hitler. Since he said this, and you just admitted you would never use his words for any idea at all, you are bound to disregard Christianity as the basis for national morality. This is the end product of your thought process. It's riddled with contradiction as a result of a flawed foundation. You are a failure once again.

  • ..And I don't give a rat's ass about Dunn. I'm criticizing Beck. If he was dishonestly smearing a conservative (never), I'd point it out just as fast. You have a terrifying taste for garbage so long as it's thrown at the right people. And why, if you watched the speech so much, can you still not tell me the message? You said it was "a philosophical point about life". Very detailed analysis, champ. That's how a seventh grader would answer if he didn't read the assignment. Just say "I don't know".

  • @chubbyruckus

those were her exact words, quit lying.

  • You haven't typed her exact words in any of these posts, you hack. She never said she "Turns to Mao most for philosophy". She said she turns to Mao and Mother Teresa to deliver the point she was making about making your choices and owning them. How is it that the TEENAGERS in the audience were able to easily understand the irony and point of the speech and all you got out of it was "Mao"? You sad, sad shell of a man. You fail, sir.

  • @chubbyruckus

You ASSUME that teenagers in her audience "got her point" ... either they were brainwashed by her, which is terrible (but you don't mind at all) ... or they did NOT agree with her, that Mao was someone to idolize and take thoughts from. You have no way of knowing what these teenagers thought. I pray they weren't as immoral in their thinking as you are.

  • Well, they laugh when she says it. If they didn't get it, there's really no explanation for that. I'm saddened by the rate at which your comments are growing more and more venomous while offering no actual debate or information. You almost make no sense at this point. You advertised yourself as a critical thinking researcher of Beck's facts but, at the first criticism, you avoid all conversation and resort to ridiculous ad hominems. Are you proud of your performance here?

  • @chubbyruckus

sure it was funny at first until you realize this chic is serious about idolizing Mao the Mass Murderer the Mass Murderer get it through your head the Mass Murderer. I think you would have been offended if she had chosen Hitler, but Mao, because he's not well known or studied, well that's ok with you. You are like the tiniest shrunken man grasping onto a wet noodle dearly trying to hold on in winning this argument. You are sad.

  • You argue like a child. Chosen Hitler for what? Clearly, I'm not the one at risk of being offended at the mention of certain names. I actually use my brain to grasp the point being offered. You keep repeating "mass murderer" as if we don't know this about Mao. That's fine, but it doesn't apply to the speech. The fact that you think Mao isn't well known or "studied" reveals your status as a grossly under educated buffoon. You can never possibly win this argument. Go use a coloring book.

  • @chubbyruckus Oh is Chubbycatsifh - acting like a three year old again?

I slam him on his page also !Only an idiot like you would not see a problem with a picture of MAO hanging from the white house Xmass tree !

  • @kim8040 Way to show the internet what a fucking moron you are. Now people won't just stumble upon my absolute massacre of you, you're going to direct them there. The fact that you jumped into an old argument of mine to join forces with the other biggest douche on YouTube is only topped by the fact that you don't even know what we're talking about. You may as well paint a big cock on your face and walk through a mall. It would be more dignifying than advertising my page for me.

  • @chubbyruckus TO funny - has anyone called you a blowhard ?

just wondering ! Still waiting on you to Spin BHO Dr Deaths !

  • @kim8040 I can't even make out whatever it is you're trying to say. You type with the grammatical flair of a spam email for Viagra. Your posts have more capitals than a map. And are you yelling the sentences that have exclamation points? Id like to clarify so I know exactly how your words should sound in my head as I read them. Choke on some dicks, please.

  • @chubbyruckus

If, obviously you have watched the speech, your a damn liar. Also, since you stick up for turning to Mao when considering philosophy, and back her up teaching others to do the same, I have more respect for a toad than for you.

  • What philosophy? Why can you not answer this question? WHAT PHILOSOPHY DO I STICK UP FOR TURNING TO MAO ON? If you can actually answer this question (finally) we can go on. I don't think you can, though. Type the answer to this question next. Don't wast time calling me names or typing anything other than the answer, please. Otherwise, you admit to forfeiting the argument over this point. And saying you're done arguing means you know you're wrong and can't defend your own words.

  • @chubbyruckus

I'm so outraged by the fact that you have watched the speech, and yet you still stick up for Anita Dunn drawing a lesson from the specific actions and thoughts of a mass murderer as they pertain to mass murder.

You disgust me. There. I've said exactly how I feel. You can argue and lie here all you want, it won't change my opinion when I can see black and white clearly before me.

Dunn goes into great detail about Mao in history and how he decides to kill millions.

  • Not that you have the mental capacity to grasp context or details, but she made no reference to mass murder. She talked about Mao in 1947, before he led the PRC, when he was fighting the Nationalists for control of China. None of this has anything to do with the mass murder of millions. You have the infantile knee-jerk mentality of a Hogwarts student shuddering and covering his ears when someone says Voldemort. That's a Harry Potter reference, in case you're as out of touch as you seem to be.

  • ..I can't help but continue berating you. You couldn't have done more to live up to the stereotype of Beck's target audience. You're initial confidence in your knowledge of the "facts" was evident. You got your big chance to stand up and defend Beck's smears and you absolutely shit the bed. You didn't even try. You could have at least tried to draw a connection between telling kids to make their own choices and killing millions of people but you just flaccidly curled up into the fetal position.

  • ..Not done yet. Your utter inability to separate an idea from an unrelated action is what you should be disgusted by. You have the sheep-like panic that gets books banned or burned or bare-breasted statues covered up. The fact that you thought of yourself as a well-informed watcher of a turd like Glenn Beck is almost as hilarious as your utter refusal to prove it. Look, you got cocky and I dismantled you. It happens. Maybe you can learn from this.

  • So you libs agree with bahama-yo-mamas plan to share the wealth statement?JTP becomes the bad guy because he called" no birth certificate "on it?Geez you guys prove everyday ...LIBERALISM IS A MENTAL DISEASE!

  • Glenn is ill , and i guess if he has to bark this way instead of hanging himself then so be it

  • Beck is right

  • Beck is a jewish racist his brother and his mother both killed themselves and like him were manic depressive. He really just a nut.

  • Back that shit up. You have no evidence.

  • If Glenn had trouble finding the recruiter story, he doesn't know how to use Google.

By the way, MSNBC and CNN NEVER called our troops "killers" or implied that something should be done to them.

O'Reilly, on the other hand, said "If I could get my hands on [Tiller]...Well, you can't be a vigilante."

These guys should try yelling "Bomb!" on an airplane if it's not such a big deal.

  • o'reilly is certainly not in any way supposed to be held accountable for the tiller murder. But he does as a national news anchor have a social responsibility to keep that kind of rhetoric at a halt. Whether he was "quoting" someone or not he must know how it would affect someone who is extreme in their thoughts against this kind of issue.

  • beck like the rest is just a someone without conscience ....

it gives me goose bumps just listening to him..

  • OMG THIS GUY IS A PIECE OF CRAP

  • umm..no..that would be your mother..glenn beck is a pretty smart guy who is trying to wake up the american moron like you.

  • I can feel my IQ literally being sucked away when I listen to this worthless asshole, Beck.

Fox pay this jerk $10m a year to spew out this crap. Do you really think he gives a damn about anything except all the easy money he's making?

Beck is nothing but a media whore. Period.

  • And for fuck sakes Glenn, stop with all the akward 5 second pauses between each of ur statements, trying to make them sound more impactful. You're a loon. I'm sorry to anyone who takes this guy seriously, but he's nuts. Of course Olbermann isn't to blame for the killing, or even for saying hateful things. Disagree with Olbermann if you must, he merely says what alot of Americans think about the war and torture. Look, if your against abortion, fine. Don't say hateful things about the doctors.

  • you're calling him a loon? that's funny..that's like Perez Hilton calling charlie sheen a fag....you have a mental disorder..you do know that right? you're a dumb liberal..people hate you...why? lol...fucking morons..media matters for retards who cant think 4 themselves.

  • People hate me cause I'm a liberal? That's the fucking stupidest thing I've ever heard. Go back to your trailer park and continue your inbreeding ways.

  • Look Becker the pecker. No one is literally BLAMING you or O'Reilly for the shooting. The guy who shot Dr.Tiller is to be blamed. What IS your fault, and those of alot of the characters on the fox news channel and on right wing radio, is saying the kind of statements that promotes anger, fear, and resentment against anything that is not the view of the evangelical right wing. I really fear that right wing extremism is only gonna get worse. That said, hatred isn't a political party, left or right

  • Its amazing his tinfoil hat doesn't interfere with his studio microphone.

  • Listening to beck actually makes people more stupid.

  • This guy is a nutcase

  • "You can not be single-minded to think of light as a wave. You have to have an independent and educated mind"

I agree. Just look at gravity. If you just think of gravity the was a proffessor wants you to (Newtonian), you miss out on the greatest, mind-blowing possibilities of Einsteinian physics... which are nearly out-dated as we speak.

  • looks like you took a bigger bit then you could chew how typical. well at least you admit your stupidity.

  • "Go finish college dumbass"

Yes, because college ignores actual facts and critical thinking, pushing forward a single-minded liberal view of things.

I know this because I asked my proffessors deep though questions when getting low marks on research papers and they told me my answers were well though out and well written, but wrong. These weren't right or wrong type papers, but my answers were wrong.

Many of that research has been proven correct over time.

  • I would never blame anyone, no matter how stupid they-like Olbermann...

BTW funny how the guys who have the highest ratings get hit the most... Well i don't care, i'm not an ideologue... But conservatism is the way to go-not extream, but most of it is the way to go... Just look at our greatest leader's policies... I don't see any major leaders who had a huge liberal agenda...

  • mmfa sucks

  • GREAT! That means no one can blame Marilyn Manson for Columbine too!

  • you mean it wasn't his fault????

  • Not according to Glenn Beck!

  • Do not kiss up to him, you are as idiot as Bill

  • Media Matters is an EXTREME far left outlet that even the most liberal of Democrats, like myself wouldn't even follow. Just like how Rush Limbaugh is an EXTREME far right mouthpiece that some of the most conservative Republicans wouldn't even follow.

  • lol, these videos include no personal opinions on the part of mediamatters. They include no commentary or subtitles of any kind. Sorry, but the only opinions expressed in these videos is that of the person who's show the clip is taken from. You are exhibiting a learned response, one you are probably unaware of, but please, watch more videos by MM and see if ANY of their opinions pop up, then you might have a point. America is trained into a left vs. right mentality.

    Try thinking sometimes.

  • what is extreme about accuracy in reporting the news?do a little research before you form a silly opinion...and stop lying about your affiliations you little "lieberman"

  • I'm so glad he practiced he was ready to speak when he first opened up the video. So much stutter and didn't even know his material.

GJ Glenn Dick! Glad you could ruin my life with your uber shit talk.

  • Glenn Beck is a drunk.

  • What are you talking about? The title of the video is "Glenn Beck: It is "intellectually dishonest" to blame Olbermann for murder of soldier." Media Matters hasn't mislead you with the title. You just misread it. And he's not defending Olbermann, he's trying to say, dishonestly, that Olbermann has made comments that are just as likely to incite violence as O'Reilly's. Don't mistake his motives here.

  • I think you are referencing a post I made about a month ago, The placement of the quotation marks is misleading, The title leads you to believe that Beck IS blaming Olbermann, he did not. You seem to accept the "intellectually dishonest" position that O'Reillys comments caused the death of Tiller, but don't apply the same standard to Olbermann with his nightly hate filled diatribes. Your motives are as dispicable as Olbermanns

  • Of course O'Reilly isn't to blame for Tiller's murder. The quotes in the video's title highlight the fact that Beck is dishonestly bringing Olberman into the equation. He accuses Olbermann of rallying against the troops and calling them baby killers. Do you see the point of the video? Beck is being intellectually dishonest in his defense of O'Reilly by attributing hateful comments to Olbermann that he never actually said. Honesty is not a despicable motive.

  • Depends on who's honesy you are examining. Olbermann's constatant railing on the war, Guantanamo Bay, Haditha, "illegal war", Torture, etc. This kind of dishonest , politically motivative rhetoric can certainly inflame the outrage of people sympathetic to the "islamic' cause as the murderer of the recruiter certainly was. Obermann did not talk about this recruiter specifically, but he has gone after private citizens like "Joe the Plumber" for asking Obama a question.

  • No, Olbermann is not responsible for the recruiters death, nor is O'Reilly responsible for Tiller's. But there is an appropriate analogy to be made. Olbermann blatantly blamed O'Reilly, and Fox news (and even called for a boycott) Beck made the analogy, but made it clear that he was not blaming Olbermann, and used the analogy to demonstrate the obserdaty of Olbermanns charge. Nothing wrong with Becks honesty, but as you have already aknowledged, Olbermann is definately dishonest.

  • You're still not seeing the difference. You can hate Olbermann all day. Rallying against the war and torture is not a condemnation of the troops. He never laid the blame for the administration's mistakes at the feet of the soldiers and he certainly never, that I know of, called them murderous baby killers like Beck says in his comments. That's it. You can disagree with Olbermann about Tiller's death but you're disagreeing with his opinion, not his facts. O'Reilly did say that shit.

  • Beck, on the other hand, actually lies with his facts. No matter who's opinion you agree with, Beck was the one who introduced actual false information and presented it as reality. Take opinions out of this equation and you might get what I'm saying. Olbermann may be wrong on O'Reilly but he didn't lie about his words. Beck lied about Olbermann's words (sorry, he did) and that's what the video is addressing. It isn't about agreeing with either's opinion.
