yes there is a big difference :

9800GTX+ is as good as 8800Ultra

9800GT is the same like the 8800GT

Is it normal that i get around 15-20fps in DirectX10 all in very high in 1280x720?

i have a Core 2 Duo E7200 2.53ghz

3gb of 667mhz DDR2 ram

640gb hard drives (1 seagate, 1 WD)

and the EVGA 9800gtx+ SC card.

i am using a radeon 2900 wich could play crysis on verry high on xp(modded of course) at around 15/20 too at that res

it coud be that your cpu is a bit of a bottleneck(not sure tough) my advise would be

if you waqnt to keep these ram strips get a E8400 or get faster ram memory and a E8500.

the reson why you need faster ram for the E8500 is becouse your ram cant be slower then your fsb(so 667 is max 333=3gh)
