Donal!I bought this cd when it came out and its still one of the best ive ever heard.Saw you in whelans a few times..fantastic stuff!Thank you.Stephen
Donal, I was part of the team which painted your apartment last year- how I missed out on KTROH when it was released is beyond me - have managed to get the LP and CD on Ebay, and am knocked out by the music. If as you say this is your life's work , it is something to be proud of. Stay safe- Dave from Bray
Hey Donal, I hope you're keeping well. How has your solo work been coming on? Cannot wait to hear those raw emotional vocals again. Apart from KTROH is there other music you have lent you voice to? Do you keep in touch with Gerry? I love his Spooky Ghost stuff, reminds me of how much I wish there was more Hinterland music. (Surely there are some unreleased demo's!!??) Anyway, thanks again for such beautifull songs, Take Care, Alan
Bought Hinterland's album Kissing The Roof Of Heaven in Cheapo Records, Soho. Superb. Such feeling , hear "Handle me". Someone put out the second album Ken Swee
First came across this on a compilation album called 'And the Craic Was Good'. Lots of great Irish music from artists such as Paul Brady, Mary Black, Gavin Friday, Sinead Lohan, Auto Da Fe and many more. Great stuff!
Donal, Great to hear this material again... I just downloaded the album from itunes (lost my original cassette years ago... probably lent it to someone...)still sounds great. I seem to remember there was nearly a second album with tracks - Inch Worm and Love Quaratine... I presume this has been lost to time?
Fantastic song off a fab album..This song gives me goose bumps everytime i hear it..Reminds me of trying to work up the couarge to ask a girl out..Who is now my wife !!
i really love this song-i caught it by chance on the radio once and found it in a record shop. are you making music now? I haven't heard anything else you've done.
Yes - thank you - I never saw the video for this before. The only video I'd ever seen was "Desert Boots" on RTE at the time of release. If you can dig out any of the other "Kissing The Roof Of Heaven" videos, I'd be very very grateful...
Nice song and very well shot video. I listened to this band for the very first time.

Finding this just made my evening. Loved this album. Got into the band listening to Irish FM radio across the sea in Wales.
