They're trying to split the conservative (Bloc) vote in Quebec currently....If they suceed. then Harper may do the impossible. Break the Bloc and return things to a 4 party system...lol

I'm so glad that others are thinking like me and Andrew I have been so dissapointed with Harper since the 2008 election. he has acted like a liberal wearing a blue tie, the massive deficits, the random police check legislation, the HST, absolutely no movement on immigration reform, no real Afghanistan strategy(although this is related to Obama's delays). The entirety of the stimulus package the appointments to the Senate. I wouldn't mind the forming of a new party if the electoral system changes

@00Billy I agree, only the most partisan hacks beleive there will be a majority in the near future, all the major parties have alienated large constituncies in Canada. Only something dramatic will change that.

1:25 Andrew Coyne, talks a big game but he is probably worse then Harper because he dislikes any attempts to govern in moderation. One thing that you have to remember is that when you are the federal executive of the country, you are not the leader of the 38% of the people that voted for you. You have to be the leader for 100% of the population, including those who didn't vote for you.
I will say that the leader of the Conservative party has lied to it's base, and the Canadian people.
