  • kid just stop talking... you know nothing about what they do... like you know the secrets of highly appointed political figures... so pease... save your breathe and shut the fuck up

  • Who created this problem in sudan to distract the media from Iraq Mr MCcain?, Who want to devide sudanese and make it look like ethnic problem Mr MCcain? If you dont know the answer Ask Bush may be he is able to tell you.people of world now they just read the hight lights on the news. but no one know the fact of who cook what.wheather itsdarfur or khartoum or the rest of sudan they are good people ..all one family, just some dirty hands ignited the proplem

  • obama isnt going to do anything about darfur..he can say all he wants, but at the end of the day his advisors will tell him its not in the best interest of this country..its unfortunate..we should help..will we? probably not.

  • Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Sudan

    Let's bomb Sudan

    Just like Japan

Leave Iran alone and everybody bomb Sudan

    Bomb, bomb, bomb Sudan

  • Whatever happened to non intervention foreign policy? We have our own problems here in America. If we did not get involved with Iraq and Afghanistan we could have offered better support to Western Sudan.

  • He is full of shit.

  • Just wondering...

...I know, the situation in Darfur is terrible, but just tell me...

Where is Darfur in comparison to the U.S. economy, the war in Iraq, the Taliban/Jihad/Al Qaeda regime, along with any issues that you may find even more important than the above? Now I know this is bad, I know it needs to be ended, but what I ALSO think we need is to PRIORITIZE the importance of these issues so our country's government can better handle them.

  • Let me tell you something; Darfur is the early stages of the old Holocaust, in a modern world. It is the first and biggest genocide in the 21th century. If Omar al-Bashir and the Janjaweed are not stopped, we're looking at complete extinsion of three tribes consisting of almost a million innocent people, just because: they want their independence, they are Black-African and not Arab-African and that they oppose a dictatorship that has slaughtered more than 300,000 people. THIS NEED PRIORITIZING!

  • I agree with Charlir91. The U.S. may be going through a financial crisis but we have other thriving industries. Obviously it will get worse before it gets better but we still have luxuries that many countries around the world don't. However in Darfur thousands of people have already died and are still dying not only through genocide but from the poverty and violence only seen in third-world countries. If we prioritized, we would all suck it up and give what we have to the people who need it

  • Blink rate tends to increase when people are thinking more. This can be an indication of lying as the liar has to keep thinking about what they are saying.

Rapid blinking blocks vision and can be an arrogant signal, saying I am so important, I do not need to see you.

  • nothing to do with the fact that there are always lights aimed at their face whenever they're on camera.

  • Mcain is the biggest lier, what educated man doesnt know what to say all i herd is " what ever , what ever" he really doesnt know what to say a ya'll should watch obama speak on Darfur he knows what needs to be done, sudan is my country and i would rather oboma handle the situation not McCain

  • Serious kudos to John McCain for excoriating Sudan's tyrannical regime about this genocide and offering a League of Democracies to counter those who would threaten men, women, and children who don't submit to their tyranny with extermination. The Save Darfur Coalition should work quite well in fighting the good fight for those refugees from Darfur.

  • McCain doesn't want to send troops to Dafur??? So he will not end the genocide over there EVER! You know how they kill people over there, women and children? They ride horses and use knives, many don't even have weapons. It would be easy for the US to fight them and save thousands of innocent lives.

Obama and Bidenboth said they want to send troops, because they know what's happening and really want to stop it. Cause by the time diplomacy works these children will already be dead.

  • war in darfur mean war with china. do you really think that china will give up its oil interests to the U>S? no way thats why we are not doing shit, the chinese are defying the world and america by openly providing arms to the Sudanese and know that no one will stop them.

  • you can tel he dosn't know shit about darfur, and we all know that that means he hoping people wil forget and this issue.

  • League of democracies (aka League of US ass-kissers).....no thanks. The UN's ok for me.

  • im tired of this 72 year old piece of shit who hes better than ira shit nobody is better than ira want so come get it i have 30 ppg avery season bitches check my stats o yea fuck you kobe

  • Why do people feel the compulsion to say things like maybe the soldiers dont want to go to war? NO SHIT! who would willingly go to war? BUT THEY HAVE A CAUSE!!! lots of people in the armed forces have children, theyre fighting for their freedom, & ours, and i think its so obscenely ignorant to say they wouldnt want to fight for these other kids freedom. they're soldiers for a reason. ITS NOT THE DRAFT. war sucks-but so does not being free!

  • I'm a marine and I personally want to help Darfur. Its horrible to have the benefit of human rights and watch others suffer from not having them, and its their right to have them!

  • None of them know what they're talking about. They're saying what will make the activists the happiest in order to gain their support. They won't do a thing about it. They're too concerned with sounding like an appealing candidate than actually saying what needs to be said. McCain is the only one that gave a plan, but that doesn't make up, in my opinion, for his other views. All of these presidential hopefuls are horrible choices. Scandal, Charismatic empty words, and a war monger. YAY AMERICA!

  • I think you're right in saying none of these politicians really care, but politicians never do. ever.

but mccainsnot a war monger either. he was raised like the rest of the bible belt, to serve his country. he was a POW, i highly doubt he feels the need to go kill tons of thousands of people after that.

  • The genocide in Darfur is just 100% completely awful. It needs to be stopped, now.

  • You're right. It needs to be stopped. By the Sudanese. And I know I'm not Sudanese. Go ask some American troops what THEY think about going to Sudan.

  • I am in the National Guard, I wouldn't mine going. Those kids there need a future without the fear of their families being slaughtered.

  • You know what this canidate is the only onw who actually came out and said what we need to do to save darfur outright, not giving dumb human-rights speeches and the reasons of bushys polices.-This guy actually has a plan.-

Oh and Kitkat9288 obama also said in a speech that the u.s. cant do anything militarliy i belive, for darfur regardless. In my opinion they need miltary but more humanitarian aid.

the u.n needs to get off there fat global warming asses and help these people!

  • Yes! Yes! Yes!

What I wanted to say but couldn't in the right terms and words.

    MCCAIN 08!

    :)

& Yes I have met this wonderful man, and he signed my purse :D

  • I just saw all 3 candidate's view on Darfur. I must have not paid attention, but what is the difference between them again?

  • McCain should leave the Republican party and become an Independent. The Republican party is a shell of what it once was. The Republicans don't deserve him.

  • I totally agree with you. 100%.

  • He should just pass on of old age.

  • watch the video mccain electable you will be see the truth

  • The University of Texas supports John McCain.

    Hook'em Horns.

  • That should tell you not to vote for him right there.

  • this is unacceptable, this genocide in Darfur.

it frusterates me that after all this time, billions of years of human history and saying "learn from mistakes" that these things continues to happen

  • Where was John McCain in the Senate when this issue was being pursued by Sam Brownback, Tom Tancredo, Durbin, and Barack Obama? It's convenient to say this stuff now cause no one wants to look insensitive during an election, but his was never a very strong voice in the Senate on this issue.

  • How do you sleep at night? Oh, I guess because the Jews were being killed in Austria and Germany who weren't our allies, it should've been their own problem? I guess many of them couldn't say "thank you in english"? That is the most retarded argument I've ever heard. Go vote for McCain then.

  • McCain i hope will win but we cant controll the world

  • ignorant is worst than low intelligence

    you are horribly ignorant

  • Obviously you are not educated on what is going on in Africa. We are not going in there to cure aids. 400,000 have already been slaughtered in this genocide. You remind me of a 10 yr old child who runs on the policy of "I won't do anything for you if you don't do anything for me!" How selfish. How can you say who cares when hundreds of thousands of people are dying???? I hope you would take some time and educate your self before making comments such as this again.

  • How about you educate me on what can be done and how we should end in the "genocide" in Darfur?

  • i hope this man doesn't get elected

  • U.S. government with its expansionist policy, especially in the Middle East, needs to be stopped.

  • Sudan government need to be stopped as soon as possible

  • Its good to see that both the Democratic, and Republican nomination understands that Darfur is an issue not only to the people there, but also an important step to stop Islamic radicals.

  • mccain "doesn't know how you negotiate with the president of sudan..."? hmm..i'm still deciding if i like that mccain is that direct and forthright.

  • Good for McCain! I am glad to see that he is speaking out on this horrible genocide that is happening on our watch!! Hope he gets elected!

  • Well if he does The US will probley nuke Iran. The guy is a war monger and has flip floped so many times I can't keep track. He doesn't give a shit about Darfur and he would lie about anything to get the nomanation. What about his 100 year war in Iraq comment. Does it no bother that people will continue to die in these wars?

  • Your Dumb, aren't you?

  • Ironic that you would call me dumb, yet you can't write.

  • hahahaha, you really are a sensationally stupid person aren't you? How many millions more have to die in Darfur and Sudan before you call it a genocide. To be frank with you, it is an insult of every victim of genocide (Be it Turkish, Yugoslavian, or Jewish)to stand by and let the weak and powerless be slaughtered while the richest, and most powerful country in the world doesnothing. It is our responsibilty, as a global powerhouse, to intervene. Your ignorance fueled racism won't be tolerated.

  • The word genocide as been cheapened by political posturing to the cheering galleries. That's the point. And Darfur pales in comparison to other atrocities right nearby.

  • How many more millions of weak and powerless people need to die before the United States intervenes? It is the responsibility of the strong to protect the weak, and to be frank with you it is an insult to every victim of the Holocaust to stand by and do nothing while another genocide occurs underneath the uncompassionate nose of the United States. It is because of unsympathetic people like you that genocides are allowed to occur.

  • Sigh...

Millions of people? First we have to get to millions of people. I'm certainly not unsympathetic, but rather reasonable which is why I don't call it a genocide, nor does the EU - as they are also reasonable and realistic.

What exactly are you doing to help end the Darfur conflict? Why don't you read some article by people that really care about the region, such as Alex de Waal and Mahmood Mamdani to understand the situation.

  • Pales in Comparison? This is not a competition, every life that ends is another brother, sister, or mother. The Webster's dictionary defines genocide as "the deliberate and systematic extermination of a national, racial, political, or cultural group". This definiton fits the current situation in Darfur with unmistakable accuracy and acuity. Don't patronize me with your sighs, they are wasted on the humanitarian's of the world.

  • One more thing, if you want to continue this discussion, leave out the ad hoc ad hominem attacks.

  • well maybe if you lived your life in fear every single day you'd think differently.

  • John McCain supporters, help spread the word about the "CFR". Thank you
