Lands of Lore is still easily my favorite game to date. This so could've made an amazing RPG for the 360. It's got a fantastic background story and best of all, no ELVES!!!
Yikes! I just got lectured about elves. Think I need a shower...
Anyway, I said I like Lands of Lore because there are no elves. Timothy (if he really is an elf) is but one elf. So I like Lands of Lore because it does not have elves. Plural for elf. Get it? There has never been another elf but him. So I'm afraid as far as Lands of Lore canon goes, there's no proof there there are elves. There is only proof that there is a single elf.
@Shipgate: personally i think that Timothy is a remnant from when Lands of Lore 1 was Eye of the Beholder 3. Before Westwood lost its eye of the beholder license they were developing eye of the beholder 3, and had made a great part of.... which eventually became lands of lore. I have never played eye of the beholder 1 or 2, but im sure there were elves in that. Westwood just left one in lands of lore. But they never call him an elf, so he just be a pointy eared human :-)
So you are saying that what you originally meant that you were glad there was only one elf, and not more? You are a pretty big dumbass. When someone says "I'm glad there are no elves" they say so because they are happy that the game is completely barren of any, even if just a single, elf.
Anyone with mild experience with dungeon crawlers or just medieval role-playing games in general would be able to easily identify that Timothy is an elf.

You don't know that for sure. And I said no elves. Not no elf.

@Shipgate
I know that for sure. He has the skinny height and the ears of someone who is elvish. No human randomly has those specific attributes and isn't Elven.
And I know you said "no elves". What the fuck are you talking about when you say "Not no elf"?
'Elf' applies to people who are 'elven' and 'elfish'. Elves and Elven people are one in the same.
