thanks for uploading this video... dennis rodman was just superb in his specialty like jordan finishing games, i gave him all the credit in defense and rebound because he put all his 100% every chance that he can or cannot get the ball, this guy is impossible! i just cannot imagine how strong his heart towards the game and so emotional every basket he make. One of the best basketball player in the history of the sport and the king of defense and rebound! peace out!
You dont see players play like him. Rodman has so much energy it was fucking ridiculous!!! you would think the guy drunk like 1000 bottles of 5 hour energy before every game. My dad called him the energizer bunny cause it seemed that Dennis never ran out of energy. He was one of the best bball players ever. If he played today he would dominated. You dont see players anymore that hustled like him..give 100% like him fight and i mean literally fight for the ball like him...
This dude was phenomenal. Very aggressive on the glass and put so much emphasis on becoming a better defender. To think that he once averaged more than 16 rpg in the Finals is just whack!! If he were to guard guys like Blake and Howard with the hand checking rules still in place, then he would most likely piss those guys off with his D and his hustle.
This dude averaged in rebounds more than probably 90% of the history of the NBA players average in points. That is just insane to fathom at that level. OVER 18 rebounds a game for an ENTIRE SEASON!! Not to mention guarding all 5 positions on the court. This guy was maybe 220lbs and was listed at 6'6' guarding 7ft 300lb centers, PG, SF, SG, PF he didn't care. If you were scoring he was coming after you and I have yet to hear any player of that era say they felt good going into a game against him
@phlawedpoker The best thing about his rebounding is that he fought every single one of them, you never saw him going for the easy open rebound... But i think Ben Wallace was pretty damn close in terms of effort a defensive versatility, but Today you dont see anyone playing with this kind of stamina, i thing they are just giving defensive player of the year awards to Howard base on his reputation and as a marketing estrategy
the only guy that i actually believe would die just to get the ball. back when people actually dove for the ball...
