Try an Android, among other features, it has voice dialing and commands.

So far the voice search hasn't even attempted to suggest results. It simply asks me to try again....and again......and again. It can't even find "Google" or "Obama". Not impressed so far.

It has issues with city names and such...

For instance, I live in a city called Edmonton, but every time I say Edmonton, it thinks I am saying Edmundson. I thought the app was supposed to use your location in the searches? If that was the case, then it should put a higher priority for your city name in searches (so if the sound is similar to Edmonton, it chooses that over Edmundson).

Google just helps develop Android. And T-Mobile and HTC were just the first ones to jump on the bandwagon. You're also forgetting that while they're shamelessly plugging Chrome on EVERY YouTube page, they are also involved with the development of Firefox, and in their demonstration videos, you see screenshots of Firefox not Chrome. Google's motto is "Don't Be Evil" meaning essentially "Help EVERYONE" find what they want, even if they're competing with your product"
