so the combustion chamber.. is there like a 1 way valve after the intake and before the combustion chamber to control the direction in which the pressures escape? because it needs to go out the exhaust end but i would think the pressures would make their way back out the intake end too. u know what i mean? sry if thats a dumb question
oil pressure? well see its call gravity, Who needs oil in a turbo, its not like it cools it, or provides fluid bearings. BUT other than that! Its awesome! talk about budgeting!
People need to stop barring key word is homemade!!!! Its meant to be jerry riged and look ugly not all of us are phd's in aerospace we all don't have cnc equipped shops this is wat a home grown is sposs to be, as u mess up u learn ,refine and build more so try and build one be for u talk shit and if u have and u think its better so wat! Every home grown is diff that's what makes it home grown
WOW why dont you get off ur a** and build one that is better than ours. hmmm you dont even have a video uploaded. Oh and by the way i own a house and have leagaly died twice so when you catch up we can talk.
what a surrprice, the whole thing is a piece of junk, and you are down a coupple of houses and several lifes I BELIVE.. sorry I AM CERTAIN of that.. Sorry rednecks this was a video NONONONONONO...
It was on the radio , people have no life but to watch you tube looking for copyright. get a job, this is for people wanting to make turbo jets not listen to journey go bang a goat or something, we are working on one that runs on diesel now......little more brains involed on this one.
@Kreyzy195 turbojet engines run on kerosene but it's not a must, in theory you can make a jet run on anything that combusts, but most jets are designed to use kerosene. Gas has the advantage that it is already gas...kerosene must be sprayed inside the combustion chamber to vaporize before combustion can take place, if it is injected in liquid state the burn will be less than perfect and will result in a waste of energy.
@theonefreeman88 what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
@chinarise care to explain why? You have insulted me and dissmissed my comment, and i want to know why. Do you have a degree in aerospace engineering?
Im the guy talking in the video. if you have ANY questions let us know wee check this atleast one a week to respond to you thanks for watching and commenting
you dont have to use model T coil you can use a regular coil off a 350 chevy (we have them laying around) but still use the flasher it sub. the points in a motor.
Not alot of work to build if you have a chop saw welder and torch. we made a oil system out of a drill pump, old drill, garden hose, soft copper tube, and 5 gal bucket the oil comes out bottom of turbo into copper tube coiled in bucket and into 2.5 gal container the 5gal bucket has water to cool oil pull out of 2.5gal with pump
hey. is it possible to have the input air line fom the turbo lead directly into the combustion chamber like you have it bu not have it go back into the exuast of the turbo? like have the whole thing in more of a linear shape and have the exuast come off the end of the combustion chamber? i made a pic of how i think a simpler one can look(plus a afterburner).

@garranechan it would more than likely be possible, but you would have to modify the turbo pretty badly.
