Lol there's a WAY easier way to do this...

Just grab a couple of tanks around BEFORE starting the mission (stay in military disguise to avoid alerts) and then park them all at the bottom of where the even start point is...they'll all stay there as long as you don't stray too far away...then when the event starts, concentrate all your attacks on the idle tanks and you'll rack up 10 points per tank...I got a score of 65 easily

79! just put on a military disguise, get loads of tanks, park them in the front of the challenge, fire an rpg at each of them n then start, jump of the buildin, do special move in mid air n then take em all! i got 7 tanks just in case n destroyed them all as well as 9 guys n still had 20 seconds left to waste! SIMPLES, thanks oldskoolradio, u helped as well n thank u ever so much 4 puttin these videos up, they have helped many people complete these frustratin challenges! Thumbs up if u agree!

pew...finally got that event plated, for those who hasnt got i yet, its a good idea suggested by Atchuss94 to park a few damaged tanks(around 3 normal hits will do) around the area, make sure you get them apart so those rocket launcher guys dont blow them up.

OH MY GOD!!!! I got the Platinum in the last second destroying a tank!!! Exactly 55 points! Simply kill the tanks using the special then two normal attacks. When there are no tanks, simply jump a press triangle. You will get 10 soldiers more or less.

lol there's only three events i got left to get that platinum.. they're all military kill missions. this is one of them then there's `armour` and something else to do with using a tank... been trying for days now

Thank god for the tip. Grab four or more tanks and put them right beside the event. Seriously people you really dont have to suffer endless trial and error of non respawning tanks.

Hmm, after make 61 points, I'll say a thing: Make sure that you crash the tanks from a VERY HIGH position. For example, from the top of the near buildings.

That will kill the tanks with just 1 punch. If not, you will lose valious time with another hit ^^

You can walk across the walls to get the top, and at the same time approach to the tanks :)

Honestly, the only way I was able to do this was by grabbing a few tanks.

Time after time, these tanks would not spawn during the actual event. Or, it'd show up on the map, and just as I start running towards it, it'd vanish!

Go steal some tanks and stay relatively close to the event. What helps even further is if you damage the tanks before you start the event.

Getting a platinum in this event depends solely on how many tanks respawn and how quickly this respawn, for example the first time i tried it i was 10 seconds into the event before any enemies actully appeared, the next time tanks appeared, i needed one more tank to get the platinum and as i fly towards it it disappeared and respawned behind me, fly around and the tank disappeared and respawnd in a differnt part of the street

I own the Xbox 360 version. I can confirm that parking tanks underneath the starting point WORKS! No reset is done. Grab 2-3 with an army disguise for an easy platinum.

I already tried the charged-elbow-drop-only strategy.

Charging just seems to take up too much time. Guess it might still work if you're lucky with the tank spawning.

But under normal circumstances it feels to me like I spent 30 of the 60 seconds floating in the air, waiting for the charges to finish.

Hm...I may have had armor active, though.

Didn't figure out yet how much slower it makes Alex.

yea thats what i did after a few tries, just pack 6 tanks close together before starting and destroy those since they dont go away. easy way is to absorb a military guy so that the tank people dont know its you and you wont cause any alerts and then just have a helicopter to keep the hives destroyed while you collect them. i was off pt medal by about a half a second my first try, damn assholes wont stop shooting me lol. only downside to this trick is you cant target the tanks so just spam away

test nr.2: I had 1 tank, I ran up to the event and down, tank gone.

My first interpretation was that 11Hellyeah11 suggested to enter a tank to fight the military.

But, apparently, what he meant is to park a couple tanks in the area and then destroy them during the event. They are easy targets (immobile) and still deliver the points, I assume.

A cheap strategy, I think. But very valuable for people who lack patience.
