You were just fine. The Tenor was very impressive despite some timing issues but that was mainly the conductors fault, he had this played a little too fast. I don't know what was up with that soprano. Brass sounded great as well as woodwinds. Very difficult piece to master.
Ahh, it's not that bad--I've heard far worse. Plus, I'll give you extra credit for being an attractive female trombone player;) Keep practicing a lot and listening to great musicians.
bahh, too all you haters out there...you are wrong. I'd love to be included in this ensemble. Much enjoyed, and it would be amazing to see live judging by the limited mic capability. Thanks for the good music.
This is a very good perfromance I played this last year on a college audition so I know this is a difficult excerpt to play. You played it better than new jersey symphony when I heard them play.
wow tish everytime i listen to this i am amazed at your growth on the trombone. you are absolutely wonderful. i am so proud of you. i wish my video skills were better so i could have better spotlighted you but oh well. its a shame you wont be at F&M with me this year but next semester at WCU we kick ass.
no way has you only been playing 2 years. i dont know anyone who can pick up an instrument that fast and be amazing at it. haha if its true though then i'm screwed haha. i've been playing all my life and i still havent gotten this good.
i've been playing since 6th grade adn i'm a rising freshman. I have to audition for placement into wind ensemble using the beginning of this piece. It ain't easy!
I'm a rising Junior and in the Wind Ensemble, not many freshmen are in the w.e at my school...I don't know about your school though or you could just be really good, don't get your hopes up though.
she's really good, i've heard her in person. videos never to justice when trying to hear someone. and this recordign was from a benefit concert she was in. they practiced twice, then gave this concert. it was really really good. again, video quality does no justice.
You're fine -- it's actually the male soloist (I think he's the bass, maybe?) who's going out of tune, and thereby making everyone else sound out of tune.
Hey, I've only been playing for two years as well. You sound great! What kind of camera was this recorded on? It picks up tone a lot better than my camera.

too much vibrato with the soprano, the vibrato is throwing off her pitchhh!

I don't think the trombone was out of tune. The timing thing actually worked out pretty good so I would say it was quite enjoyable.

ya'll just need to get more involved with the music!
... except for the trombone player. keep up the good work!

@Phoenix3568 if I may say there is a difference between tuning and missed notes, she as both!

haha I played this at the start of this year in a massive cathedral like that...
very embarrassing because I nailed it every rehearsal but for the performance I split the top A flat!!
Its not even that high...
haha embarrassing times
