School Lunch in China

In my school, in Wales, dear god I want to move to China right now. Each morning there are pasties, cookies, cakes, baguettes with cheese and ham, and stuff like that, then in the afternoon, we have wraps, chips, etc.

The school/cafeteria food in China is truly healthier than American full of fat and processed food! :'(

US should give us some more fresh/healthier food!!! >.<

People wonder why America is fat. You can buy a burger for 90 cents. Healthy food is more expensive. And most schools don't have that kind of money. so moving to Japan for better food and college. :c

I know! If we ate like them.. TRUST ME. We'd be healthier. And not just japan,other countries are healthy. I know that the Carribean food is healthy. It's based off of rice ,beans, platanos, and cheese. ^_^

A mantao is called a "steamed bun" in English. Delicious dipped in soup. And agree with angelchick2116, the filled ones are delicious!

Let's see... when i was in high school our lunch choices were pizza, fries, cold cut sandwiches, or the "main" lunch, which usually wasnt all that great... plus the snack bars with candy, cookies, cup o noodles, ice cream, nachos, we did have a decent salad bar, if you didnt DROWN everything in ranch dressing!

In High school, I had whole grain noodles, that could very well be replaced with sandpaper, and I'M sure no one would tell a difference!
