I saw tha photos on ilmailu(dot)org(slash)flaperon. I would like to buy a Sonerai 2 with 2180 greatp. but I' m not sure for the runway which is 350 mt. now...but next year will be 580mt but with trees (20mt) at the end. So I 'm looking for some informations about your flaperons system or Vortex generetor. If you have another informations or photos please send me an e-mail : fabry94@libero.it .
The stall speed with an 80kg person and full tank is 65 km/h, If you really try and use the brakes hard (which we rarely do) you can get it down on 250m. The take off distance is about 350m over a 15m obstacle.
The wing is slightly modified as well. It is basically a Sonerai II wing.
I posted some more images on my web site but adding a link here is a bit difficult. Lets try to add it so that the tube dont forbid it, the pics are at ilmailu(dot)org(slash)flaperon
but it is quite easy to modify the stick assembly. You add a hinge in the front and a mechanism to lift the whole assembly at the back. When it lifts it the ailerons both lowers. And you know when you have reached the third position. that's when you feel the assembly in your ass :)
